“Our pup seemed to have a great time with Dana and his family, and we were grateful he was able to take our pup last minute. Dana's communication was prompt, and we received daily images/videos.”

“Alyson was amaze balls. I got daily updates she alerted me to anything she deemed out of the ordinary with Tuna. He loves Alyson and her Daughter! Would recommend wholeheartedly”

“It hasn’t been easy finding a place that is reliable and that makes our pup feel totally at ease. Bridget is a dream come true. She was so communicative, he clearly was happy and relaxed the whole time, and he seemed bummed to be leaving by the end. So glad we found Bridget!”
About: I’m a caring cat and dog mom with lifelong experience with pets. I have a 3 year old cat and a 2 year old dog, who are my whole world. I love playing with energetic puppies and kittens, and I also have experience caring for sweet senior dogs, having grown up with two dogs with my parents. I’m a private music teacher with a flexible schedule and currently spend most of my time at home. Your pet will have plenty of company, supervision, and attention throughout the day. I provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, meals, and personalized care based on each pet’s routine. I’m available for boarding, drop-in visits, and dog walks throughout the week, including weekends and holidays, and I’m always happy to accommodate your pet’s needs whenever possible. I live with my husband, a friendly 2-year-old Bichpoo, and a calm, gentle cat. Our home is filled with cozy beds, toys, and treats for both cats and dogs. We’re also within walking distance of a dog park, making it easy to give dogs extra exercise and outdoor fun if that’s something they enjoy. We vacuum twice a day and mop every other day to keep our home clean, safe, and comfortable. Your pet will receive plenty of love, attention, playtime, and personalized care, so they can feel relaxed, happy, and right at home.
“Great sitter, had my dog for 8 days and he was well taken care of and because of her work he got to hang out with lots of other dogs all day! He had a blast! 10/10 would recommend.”

“Jason was absolutely amazing with my dog, Tayto! I felt so at ease knowing he was in great hands. Jason totally welcomed Tayto in to his home and family. His dog, Noah, was the best playmate for Tayto. Jason gave lots of updates and photos to share all the fun they were having together. Definitely recommend and will be booking with him again!”

“I was visiting from out of town and needed a dog sitter last minute. Shelby responded very quickly to my request and was super accommodating for a last minute booking. I immediately felt at ease when I dropped Cola off. The entire family came out to greet us, it was very sweet! I was sent great pictures, videos, and updates regularly during Cola's visit and really appreciated that! Cola looked to have A LOT of fun staying w/Shelby and family! I would definitely recommend her! Thanks so much Shelby!!!”

“Nancy was incredible!!! I felt so safe with her having my girl and she spoiled her. She kept me up to date and took amazing care of all of Petunias needs. I couldn’t be more grateful and will definitely use her again.”

“I cannot say enough great things about Sophia! She is warm, friendly, and loves dogs. She had my 3 year old cattle dog for a few days and everything went perfectly. She was extremely responsive and sent multiple photos and updates. She even bought him treats and took him on more walks than needed. Thank you so much Sophia!”

“Louie, our English springer spaniel, loved his time in Wanyi’s home. He was well taken care of, had lots of activities and exercise and was treated like a member of her family. She sent us pictures and updates every day. We are thrilled with our experience. We highly recommend Wanyi!!!!”

“Mo clearly loves and understands animals and kept me updated the whole time 🧡 she adapted to my pup’s quirks, sent daily pics, and I felt confident Arya was being cared for and loved on the whole time”

“Daniel and his dog Annie were a wonderful match for our dog, Tegan. He even arranged a meet-up beforehand so the dogs could get to know each other, which gave us peace of mind. During Tegan’s stay, Daniel sent daily updates and photos, which we really appreciated. Tegan usually takes a day or two to settle in and start eating when she’s in a new environment, but with Daniel and Annie she felt right at home from the start. We’ll definitely ask Daniel to watch Tegan again in the future!”

“This was our first stay with Whitney and Dave and their fur babies. While it began a bit rocky with my dog fitting in to their family and routine all worked out after a day or two. My dog was safe and well cared for during his stay.”

“This was the longest we've left our girl with someone, and it went great! Got daily updates, pictures. Tyler was super nice and Lola had a great time!”

“Morgan took the best care of my dog. She was communicative, friendly, and super quick in response. My dog needed a few days of a slower pace in walks/plays after a recent paw injury and Morgan was able to provide the needed attention. Her dog is a well behaved, trained, smart too so I felt confident the pups would get along. I would absolutely recommend Morgan to anyone and will be disappointed if she wasn't available next time I need a sitter. Thank you, Morgan!”

“Oscar took great care of our dog, Bella! They were very communicative (+ sent lots of photos and videos of our girl having the best time). The first night Bella had some tummy problems, and they took care of her and communicated throughout the day. She was better by day two! I can’t speak highly enough! Will definitely have Oscar watch Bella again soon!”

We had a wonderful first experience! Our dog can be a little sensitive and takes some time to warm up to new people, but she followed all of my instructions carefully and took great care of him throughout the day. She also sent frequent video updates, which really helped me feel comfortable and reassured. I truly appreciated her patience and attentiveness, and I would definitely trust her with our dog again. Highly recommend!

We had such a great experience with Rachel! She took incredible care of our dog and kept us updated with photos and messages, which gave us total peace of mind. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
