“Rylee was so wonderful with our sweet boy! Her energy and positivity were evident from the minute we met and we knew our Seneca would be in great hands! Rylee sent us daily photos of Seneca on hikes and long walks, playing in the yard, and sleeping soundly from all his wonderful activity! I will certainly call Rylee again and would highly recommend her to others.”

“Louie, our English springer spaniel, loved his time in Wanyi’s home. He was well taken care of, had lots of activities and exercise and was treated like a member of her family. She sent us pictures and updates every day. We are thrilled with our experience. We highly recommend Wanyi!!!!”

“Hi my Milo had a great time with Natalie. She was sweet and caring and booked us last minute when we really needed it! I would reach out to Natalie again any time! Thank you Natalie you were awesome!”

“It was great meeting Trish and our dog, Harper, hit it off with her instantly. She is very genuine and made us feel very comfortable with leaving our young dog for the first time. Harper is a 9 month old mini goldendoodle who is still working out his training and puppy energy. Trish kept us updated and sent photos daily. We unfortunately had to cut our trip short due to a family matter but will not hesitate to use Trish again in the future.”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life. I’m all about communication and getting to know your furbaby. Whether it’s at my house or yours I will treat your pets like family! I own a small cleaning business that keeps me busy but allows flexibility too. I’m available for sitting and boarding on weekdays after 3pm and on weekends. I can care for pets in my home or yours. I have a large yard with walking trails to the reservoir. Not fenced. I have a friendly dog who will be 15 in Oct and loves to play still.
“Grigorii took the best care of my dog. He was communicative, friendly, and thorough in his care. My dog is timid after a recent attack and Grigorii was patient and able to get her to come out of her shell over a few days’ stay. His dog is a sweetheart too so I felt confident the pups would get along. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone and I’d be disappointed if he wasn’t available next time I need a sitter!”

“Jess is amazing. She is so patient and kind with our overly energetic husky puppy. She is flexible and able to work with you on your schedule. Highly recommend. Will use her services again!”
“Such amazing care and communication!! I actually think our dog was a bit sad to come home after the time he had with Jasmin and Eric! They are awesome and we definitely hope to work with them again!”

“Barry was wonderful with my very active Belgian Malinois. He took him on runs and wore him out. I was extremely impressed how Barry really understood what my dog needed to keep him stimulated. I got many photos and videos during my time away and felt assured he was in a good place. I was very pleased with his service and would highly recommend him to others.”
“Alec and Damien were great hosts! Tanuki seemed very comfortable and we received lots of updates. So glad to have been able to book with them ❤️”

“Theresa was fantastic with Mac! Mac is a shy guy, but he opened up to her and Machi quickly. Theresa was very communicative while watching Mac - she sent a ton of cute videos/pictures of them on their walks. She will always be our first call to watch Mac! Thank you for taking such good care of our boy.”

“Debbie and her family were wonderful with making my dog feel welcomed and comfortable in their home. She also understood that my dog loved the outdoors and walks. She took her for some long walks in the woods. Debbie was also great in sending updates and pictures. I would definitely recommend her.”

“Dana and Nia were wonderful sitters for our 6 month old puppy. She was meant to stay with them for 5 days and go to a friend of mines house for the rest of my trip but she got sick on her first day with my friend. Dana and Nia happily took her back the next day and got her back to normal health. They knew exactly how to handle the situation and were very chill about it. Rosie had a great time with them, in their yard and on adventures outside of their house. 100% recommend Dana and Nia!”

“Kevin was amazing with our dog! He constantly sent pictures and updates of her, and was always very responsive. Our doggo came back so happy. I would definitely book with him again!”

“It was our first time ever leaving our babies with anyone else than a family member, but experience was awesome. Heidi is extremely communicative, and loved daily videos and photos, it made the separation much easier for us. Highly recommend!!! Will be using again in the future for sure!!”

“Great experience! Joseph was awesome, he went above and beyond, to ensure my great dane was well cared for while we were out of town visiting family. Joseph kept us updated with messages and pictures. Once again, thank you for taking care of our child ? in our home - we wouldn't have found a better dog sitter! Laura was amazing! She was very accommodating, quick in response and always provided update and pictures of Zuko. Zuko was very happy when we picked him up and he had an amazing time with Laura and her dog Ella. I would highly recommend booking with Laura. I know for certain that we will

Taylor was amazing! She took such great care of my pup and truly treated him like family. My dog had so much playtime and walks. She sent multiple updates throughout his stay, along with the cutest photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear he was happy, comfortable, and getting plenty of love and attention. Communication was great. I would absolutely recommend Taylor and will definitely book with her again!

Paulina was a God send. We left our one year old bernedoodle with a friend, while on a cross country road trip. Mid way through the trip our friend needed reprieve so I reached out to Paulina and she replied promptly and jumped in to help last minute. She picked him up, coordinating directly with my friend. She overcame training challenges that werent presenting themselves with us, and worked through some difficult situations taking really wonderful care of our pup and the others in her care. I couldn't be more quick to refer her as a pet care option. Very grateful for her last minute support. Kodi came home more well behaved then when we left.

Shelby sent us updates and pictures the entire time we were away. She said Zoey had an awesome time with them. She enjoyed playing with their dog and running around. We could tell by the pictures that our dog was very happy and comfortable staying with them. We were very impressed and would highly recommend Shelby.

Louie, our English springer spaniel, loved his time in Wanyi’s home. He was well taken care of, had lots of activities and exercise and was treated like a member of her family. She sent us pictures and updates every day. We are thrilled with our experience. We highly recommend Wanyi!!!!

Cheyenne was a fantastic dog sitter for our beagle, Rylee! Over the five days Rylee stayed with her, she was treated to constant walks, playtime, and plenty of treats. Cheyenne also kept us in the loop with frequent updates and tons of pictures of Rylee enjoying her stay. She came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. Highly recommend Cheyenne to anyone looking for a sitter!

I had a great experience with Mary while I was away for the weekend. She took excellent care of my dog, kept me updated with photos and messages, and made sure everything went smoothly. I came home to a happy, well-cared-for pup! Highly recommend and would definitely book again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
