About: I’ve had dogs and cats as pets throughout my whole life (also including chickens and goats!) I’ve been the primary caretaker of 2 cats and 1 senior dog over the last 6 years. I am skilled with basic pet care, and I pay close attention to pet’s specific needs (ex: special diet, unique quirks, injury/vet care). Animals have a special place in my heart. I’ve helped stray cats, I’ve pulled over for loose dogs on the road, I donate to the local animal shelter, and I consider animal welfare even while grocery shopping. My family jokingly calls me the “animal whisperer” and they often turn to me for pet advice. I’m a firm believer that pets aren’t just animals, they are part of the family. I’m currently working full time during the weekday, so I’m a great fit for evening/night shifts! I’m available for evening walks or any other drop in tasks. I’m also available on the weekends (as needed and varies) and I can be available for any pet care needed during weekend trips. I do multiple physical checks throughout the day to make sure my pets are accounted for and aren’t in any distress or messy situations. I also make sure that there are no open doors or windows left unattended. I make sure that the floors and counters are clean of food or any small items, ensuring that my pets won’t try to eat something they shouldn’t. If something seems off with my pets’ behavior, I always inspect them and/or do research to determine if a vet call is needed or not. Lastly, I follow my pets’ feeding routines and porch time routines, and of course spend time playing and cuddling.

About: I have always had dogs and cats throughout my life. As an adult, I’ve had three dogs, myself five cats and many other poor legged friends. I enjoy being around animals very much they bring me such joy. Everyone calls me the pet whisperer because every animal I meet just loves me and I love them. I have just currently quit my job of 21 years and wanted to do something that would make me happy on a daily basis so I decided to start taking care of animals when people need it. I get to play with many different types of furry friends along with keeping active and making my own schedule. Depending on what’s needed, I would treat all the animals like I would treat my own. Keeping them safe and loved and getting their exercise needs in.

About: I have experience working with dogs and cats through pet sitting and hospital experience. I have owned dogs for the past 16 years, chinchillas for the past 5 years, and hedgehogs for the past 7 years. I am able to detect symptoms and abnormalities that may require medical attention. I enjoy bringing my pets to a variety of places such as state parks, pet stores and public pet events. I am available most weekdays and weekends. I do not mind staying over for overnight care. My time is pretty flexible for now and I am able to drive to locations within an hour radius using my own car. I have a finished basement that would be used for the pets I care for. It has a bathroom with a hand held shower for easy bathing. I have a crate available for use for dogs under 30 pounds. The basement also has direct access to the back yard for easier potty times. The temperature in the basement is cool during the summer. In the winter the temperature would be adjusted using an electric fire place. Dogs would get enrichment through daily walks, puzzle toys and trick training. Cats would have access to the whole basement to free roam but will not have access to outdoors.

I have a pen within my home to crate when needed, as well as lots of toys and time to play outside. I own a car and I’m able to come to you to care for your pet in your home if that’s your preference. My car and apartment are dog safe.

About: Becoming a dog mom in January 2026 has taught me so much about caring for puppies and understanding their unique needs.
