About: I have experience working with dogs and cats through pet sitting and hospital experience. I have owned dogs for the past 16 years, chinchillas for the past 5 years, and hedgehogs for the past 7 years. I am able to detect symptoms and abnormalities that may require medical attention. I enjoy bringing my pets to a variety of places such as state parks, pet stores and public pet events. I am available most weekdays and weekends. I do not mind staying over for overnight care. My time is pretty flexible for now and I am able to drive to locations within an hour radius using my own car. I have a finished basement that would be used for the pets I care for. It has a bathroom with a hand held shower for easy bathing. I have a crate available for use for dogs under 30 pounds. The basement also has direct access to the back yard for easier potty times. The temperature in the basement is cool during the summer. In the winter the temperature would be adjusted using an electric fire place. Dogs would get enrichment through daily walks, puzzle toys and trick training. Cats would have access to the whole basement to free roam but will not have access to outdoors.

“Brian and Shawnie are the best! Very experienced dog owners that are super reliable and trust worthy, by far the best dog boarding experience we’ve ever had. We have a very big mastiff (170 lbs) who is a giant baby so he’s tough to find the right environment for but we had zero concerns after meeting Brian and his wife. Vinny was extremely well taken care of and loved while we were away to the point that we could actually enjoy our vacation and not feel guilty or bad about leaving our baby behind! Brian went above and beyond to make sure Vinny was nice and cool on a hot day, took him for walks (which we’ve never even experienced before as everyone else is afraid to walk such a big dog), and played with him whenever he wanted.
