About: I have taken care of dogs and cats ranging from puppies to seniors. owning two cats myself and have owned a dog previously i am fun loving and charismatic to the needs of the individual I work 7-3 but am able to go for walks before and after, during the evening, and anytime on weekends. i am willing to take a range of walks from short quick walks to long walks. I care for my pets in my home by cleaning up after the litter box and walks, feeding regularly, and providing lots of love and pats.

About: I have been in the caring business since my teenage years - babysitting my younger siblings, caring for my family dog, running a summer enrichment program for at risk youth, caring for horses at a dude ranch and a western suburbs farm, minding many friends' dogs, and wrangling my own two senior dogs - brother and sister, now 14 years old. (But so rambunctious for 10+ years). I love dogs and will care for your dog just as you would. One of my dogs is now blind and the other requires daily subcutaneous fluids so I am willing and able to help out with any of your pet's special needs as well..... I know how stressful it can be to ensure a routine is kept. I am currently on a full time job hunt and very available (with notice) to care for your dogs most days and evenings as I can do this work remotely. Depending on your dog's needs I can usually provide bathroom breaks every 4 hours in between errands, etc. My calendar will be updated to show days I plan to be away. At this time, I can care for pets in my client's home. I do need to bring my dogs for the overnight portion of the stay but will keep them separate in a room/space of your choosing during the evening (and on bedroom floor at night). They are very dog friendly just very sleepy and do well snoozing someplace quiet.

About: Hello! My name is Andie and I work at VCA South Shore Hospital in ER, ICU, Neurology and Internal Medicine as a technician assistant and have prior TA experience at Old Derby Animal Hospital. I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. I previously went to the University of Arizona for 3 years studying animal sciences and transferred my junior year to return to the East Coast. I also have some experience with a handful of farm animals from my time at the UofA. Additionally some of my experience comes from working on home farms taking care of horses and alpacas; all of this meaning my knowledge of animals is extensive to give the best care for your furry friends! I have always had the passion for animal care and medicine which is why after graduating I will be continuing my schooling to be a CVT and hopefully someday a veterinarian. A few years back I had participated in boarding through Rover, but after a hiatus I decided to come back to continue with walks and drop in visits because even outside of my main job I love to be around animals! We have a small family dog, but other than that I have rescue retired racing greyhound, Moose, who has travelled far and wide with me. My pets also include many fish, a leopard gecko, chickens and ducks! All this being said, I would absolutely love the opportunity to be alongside your best friends and scratch the itch to spend as much time with animals as I can! I am currently working full time at VCA Animal Hospital where I can do Sat, Sun and Mon anytime. I am open to doing drop ins and walks. It would really help potentially putting me in a position for veterinary school! I take care of your pets like they are my own. I think every one has their own needs and personality, there is no "one size fits all" for any animal. I try to learn your pet on an individual level!

About: I’ve had dogs and cats as pets throughout my whole life (also including chickens and goats!) I’ve been the primary caretaker of 2 cats and 1 senior dog over the last 6 years. I am skilled with basic pet care, and I pay close attention to pet’s specific needs (ex: special diet, unique quirks, injury/vet care). Animals have a special place in my heart. I’ve helped stray cats, I’ve pulled over for loose dogs on the road, I donate to the local animal shelter, and I consider animal welfare even while grocery shopping. My family jokingly calls me the “animal whisperer” and they often turn to me for pet advice. I’m a firm believer that pets aren’t just animals, they are part of the family. I’m currently working full time during the weekday, so I’m a great fit for evening/night shifts! I’m available for evening walks or any other drop in tasks. I’m also available on the weekends (as needed and varies) and I can be available for any pet care needed during weekend trips. I do multiple physical checks throughout the day to make sure my pets are accounted for and aren’t in any distress or messy situations. I also make sure that there are no open doors or windows left unattended. I make sure that the floors and counters are clean of food or any small items, ensuring that my pets won’t try to eat something they shouldn’t. If something seems off with my pets’ behavior, I always inspect them and/or do research to determine if a vet call is needed or not. Lastly, I follow my pets’ feeding routines and porch time routines, and of course spend time playing and cuddling.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. Currently in my house, we have 3 dogs and 2 cats that I help take care of. I have been on Rover for about 6 years. I am an elementary teacher and high school girls basketball coach. I am currently on summer break since I am an elementary teacher. This means that I have a lot of free time because I am not working anywhere else. I am a very active person, so I love playing with all dogs and taking them on nice, long walks. I have also been around dogs and cats my whole life, so I love spending time with all animals.

About: I’ve been around animals all my life and am comfortable with all kinds, big and small. Ive dog and cat sat for friends before and enjoy spending time with the animals. I currently work at a dog daycare and spend 5 days a week with the dogs. I am a college student who commutes and has class two days a week. My availability is very open and am willing to pick up last minute visits or walks. I will pay close attention to your pet during walks or visits and spend time with them/give them space if that is what would make them most comfortable.

Any doggos that come to the house will be joined by our friendly beagle. Walks are completely up to your discretion. I will do whatever is easiest and the most safe for your pets.
