I offer boarding and daycare with pick-up and drop-off services Monday through Friday. With over 15 years of experience working with dogs, I’ve developed a deep understanding of their needs. I started by helping family and friends, then volunteered at a local shelter, and today, I work full-time as a dog walker and sitter — and I wouldn’t have it any other way! I’m committed to going above and beyond to meet each dog’s individual needs, no matter how big or small. I want every dog in my care to live their best life! I know how important it is to maintain a dog’s routine and to never cut corners, especially when working on behavioral issues. I look forward to meeting your dog and supporting them on their journey! Safety and Fun Are My Priorities Over the years, I’ve learned a few key things that help keep the environment safe and fun for everyone: • I require a meet-and-greet before any boarding stay, which includes a day of daycare. This allows me to see if your dog is a good fit, gives them a chance to meet the other dogs, and helps them feel comfortable and familiar before their stay. • At mealtime, I feed all dogs individually to avoid food aggression and to ensure each dog stays on their specific diet. • For dogs requiring medication, I administer it privately and carefully, to ensure it’s properly taken and to prevent any accidental exposure to other dogs. • I do not allow toys, bones, or personal beds from home during a stay. This helps prevent any territorial behavior or conflicts. Rest assured, I have plenty of comfortable bedding, engaging toys, and safe chews to keep your pup happy and entertained while they’re here! I can’t wait to welcome your dog into my pack and help them thrive! Daily Schedule: • 6:30 a.m.: Wake-up/morning bathroom break • 8:00a.m -9:00a.m.: Breakfast •. 9:00 a.m.-Morning daycare pick-ups (Monday–Friday) • 10:30a.m. – 12:00 p.m.: Playtime in the yard, with breaks as needed • 12:00 p.m.: Lunch • 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.: Quiet time/rest • 2:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.: Afternoon playtime in the yard, with breaks as needed • 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.: Afternoon daycare drop-offs (Monday–Friday) • 6:00 p.m.: Evening bathroom break • 6:15 p.m.: Dinner • 7:15 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.: Evening play session • 8:00 p.m.: Relaxation and quiet time • 9:30–10:00 p.m.: Final bathroom break and bedtime I have three separate fenced-in yards to keep things fun and engaging for the dogs, giving them plenty of space to run, play, and explore. There are multiple crates available for individual feeding or for dogs who might be a little too curious and like to explore things they shouldn’t. I also have my yard treated for ticks and mosquitoes every month to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for everyone. And that’s just the beginning! I provide a wide variety of toys and enrichment activities to keep the dogs mentally and physically stimulated. We do sensory games, have food puzzles to challenge their minds, and even offer quiet, cozy spots for rest and relaxation. Whether your dog loves to play, learn, or just lounge in the sun, there’s something here for everyone to enjoy!

About: Hi, I’m Christine. I run my holistic healing practice out of Pembroke and I’m excited to spend my spare time connecting and caring for your four-legged family members. I’ve adored animals since I can remember, and that natural connection has only deepened over the years. I’m highly intuitive when it comes to an animal’s needs, energy, and wellbeing, and I always aim to make pets feel safe, cared for, and understood. One of the greatest gifts of my life was loving and being Mum to my lab/Rottweiler mix from 12 weeks old until he crossed the rainbow bridge at 12 years old. That experience gave me a deep understanding of the love, responsibility, patience, and joy that comes with caring for a dog through every stage of life. I also have 3+ years of experience providing in-home pet care (and house care), along with dog walking and sitting. I have experience with dogs of all breeds and sizes. I have some experience with cats and birds as well, so I’m comfortable caring for a variety of furry and feathered family members. I love long walks, runs, swimming, playing, exploring, and just about everything outdoors—so whether your pup loves adventure or simply needs steady, loving companionship, I’d be honored to care for them like one of my own. While running my healing practice, I maintain a consistent monthly schedule with availability most mornings and afternoons. I also have plenty of flexibility when creating my schedule and a genuine passion for walking and caring for animals. When caring for pets in my client’s home, I do so with the utmost respect, love, and attention to their established routine. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable in their own environment, so I care for them just as you would—with patience, kindness, consistency, and genuine affection.

About: I've always loved dogs and cats and felt very passionate about them. I have two years animal shelter experience taking care of dogs and cats. This included feeding several different types of foods and diets to pets, ensuring pets' safety, cleaning cages and kennels, cleaning litter boxes, and taking out dogs into the yard. I am available most days and times every week to care for your pets. I offer mostly drop ins and I do have exceptions like I will be going on vacation this month so just message me within one day to request a booking. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! I pay attention to dogs and cats body languages to ensure their safety needs and emotional needs are met. I let pets come to me first so that they can feel comfortable and safe around me. I treat every pet with respect and if they do not want to say hi yet, that is totally fine with me I will feed them and clean litterbox, etc and they will warm up to me eventually. I watch puppies and young dogs very carefully so that they do not get into trouble and I always make sure the floors are puppy/dog proofed.

About: I grew up on a small farm and have always loved creatures great and small. I have always had pets and have been a caregiver for friend’s dogs for years. I am now home full time and welcome the opportunity to slather love on more critters 🩷 I am currently home full time so have all the time in the world to spend with the animals. In warm weather I can leave the back door open allowing dogs to come in and out as the please. I have a fenced yard and a sweet 6 year old plott hound (Mojo), many fish, an axolotl (Buggie), and a hamster (Donut). My husband and I have two boys aged 10 and 12 who love animals as much as I do.

About: I absolutely love animals, especially dogs. I have been an animal lover and pet owner my whole life but have been a professional pet care specialist for 7+ years. I now work in an animal hospital but in the past I managed a doggy daycare for 2 years and worked for professional dog walking companies for a total of 4 years. I specialized in the hiking program but I can do it all when it comes to your fur babies. From hiking, walking, park trips, in home pet sitting, administering medication, work on reinforcing basic commands and even checking in on your feline friends! I currently work for an animal hospital but still have time to spoil your fur babies. I am available Saturday through Monday and most early mornings, afternoons and evenings throughout the rest of the week. I am based in Pembroke but open to traveling. My dog and cats live a very spoiled life and get treated like royalty and I will care for your pets the same way. I will ask you questions about their daily schedule so that I can replicate it to my best ability when they are in my care.

About: I grew up with dogs within my family and through friends. I watched my neighbors dogs throughout high school, as well as the dogs for the families I babysat for. I also currently have a dog of almost 4 years, so I understand the level of attention a dog may need especially in the training years. I’m currently working a full-time hybrid job, so I am home and available Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays before 8:30am, between 12:00pm and 1:00pm, and after 5:00pm. I am completely available on weekends. I will care for your pet however you would like for me to. I can provide sitting, walking and feeding services and I am flexible!

About: Hi! I am a special education teacher who owns a friendly Bichon-Poo named Henry who gets along well with other dogs. I would love to host your dog in our home during your next vacation. Your dog or puppy would receive 24 hour care & love. We have a very large fenced in yard & a comfortable, dog friendly house. I am available on weekends (Fridays after 3:30 only), all summer, & most school vacations. I can even come to your home if you prefer. I'd love to hear from you!

About: I have had a dog in the family since I was 12. My 15 year old Beagle was my best friend and we would go on multiple walks a day up until she passed last November. I now live with my boyfriend and together we have a 7 year old black lab mix names Josie. I love being around animals and would love to get your pet outside and put a smile on their face :) I am a Nanny full time to 3 kids and a golden retriever! We go on walks together everday, however I love to go on outdoor walks in my spare time as well. What’s better than walks by yourself? Walks with a furry friend! About: I have had dogs in my house since I was little. I take care of them all day while my parents are working. I am a very active person, so I love running around and walking my dogs. I will walk them as long and as far as they want to walk. They give me energy and are my best friends. Right now, my family has two dogs. One small dog and one medium sized dog. They both are energetic and love to play with other dogs. I have walked my friends' dogs before as well as other family members' dogs. I am majoring in Environmental Science at the University of Lynchburg. I love being outside and I love wildlife. This job is a perfect match for me.

About: I have had a dog for the past 11 years and just recently got a second. I am a very lovable person when it comes to animals and care for them deeply. I will take care of your dog as if they were my own and I am very active as I am an athlete and will give them all of the love and attention that they deserve I am a post college student home for the summer and have 2 dogs of my own! I am outside all the time and love spending time with dogs! Whether it’s going on walks, to the dog park or the beach! Spending time with dogs, bring so much happiness and peace into daily life! About: As a former veterinary receptionist, I’ve had 3 years of experience helping care for dogs and cats. Now pursuing art, I’m looking to continue to help take care of pets. I’m currently working on pursuing my art career, so my schedule is pretty open for drop ins or walks. I’m occasionally available for in-house pet sitting. In the part few years, I’ve developed a real heart for animals. Pet care is so important, giving a voice to those who can’t speak.

About: I have had dogs as pets since I was 4 years old. I’ve been taking care of families and friends dogs since I was 14. I work full time overnights at a hospital. I am available Monday through Friday anytime before 4pm. Occasionally every other weekend. I am also willing to do overnights at the owners house. I would treat them like they are my own. I let dogs sleep with me and get up on the furniture. I would put the dog in my car as well.

I am currently working a full time job during the week Monday through Friday, so weekends work best for me to be able to take care of dogs. I can easily crate a dog if needed and will use what is needed at my clients house to be able to keep the dog safe and sound.

About: I’ve cared for animals since a young age, mainly dogs and cats. I have a rescue dog of my own who I trained myself, as well as a senior cat with medical needs who is thriving. My neighbors trust me to care for their dogs with medical needs while they are away, and most recently, I started walking dogs during the day time and offering house visits while pet owners are away at work or vacationing. I love spending time outdoors and getting to know your pet and offering them the critical exercise and companionship they need to live a long healthy life! When my cat was young, we had the most wonderful cat sitter who was very in tune with animals and I said I wanted to start my own business one day like her. Well, here I am! I look forward to hearing from you to discuss your pet care needs. I enjoy walking dogs or making house visits during the week days when my children are at school (mornings, mid day, and early afternoon). I’m also available for evening and overnight visits in your home on a case by case basis. I’m looking to find clients who I can grow with and essentially become a part of the family. For now I’m offering care in your home or visits with your dog like walks, hikes, or play groups at an outdoor dog park. For overnight visits, I recommend visits 3 times in the day: once in the morning time for breakfast and a walk, once again in the afternoon, and then a night time visit as well before bedtime.

About: Due to my current employment situation, I have lots of schedule flexibility to suit the needs of your animals. I have been caring for dogs of all breeds, ages, and sizes since I was young and have done it on a more regular basis over the past 8 years. I have grown up always having dogs and cats so I am extremely familiar with caring for animals. Even the most skeptical dogs quickly trust me for my loving nature. I am always prepared to pay full attention to any animals in my care and to respond to any challenging situations that may come up. I truly love animals and am very excited at the opportunity to help others with the care and support of their furry friends! Your pet’s day will look exactly like it does when you’re with them! I pride myself on helping dogs to keep their routines. I am happy to offer whatever enrichment activities we discuss for your pet such as car rides, dog parks, play dates etc but also understand these are not for every dog so will never do anything we didn’t explicitly clear. I am very adamant about understanding the ways you keep your pet safe at home. I am extremely cautious when coming and going. I keep an eye on all pets in yards, even when they don’t typically require this. In 15 years of dogsitting, I have only had one dog slip away from me and handled it quickly and safely.
