About: I have been in the caring business since my teenage years - babysitting my younger siblings, caring for my family dog, running a summer enrichment program for at risk youth, caring for horses at a dude ranch and a western suburbs farm, minding many friends' dogs, and wrangling my own two senior dogs - brother and sister, now 14 years old. (But, so rambunctious for their first 10+ years). I love dogs and will care for your dog just as you would. One of my dogs is now blind and the other requires daily subcutaneous fluids so I am willing and able to help out with any of your pet's special needs as well..... I know how stressful it can be to ensure a routine is kept. Pet first aid and CPR certified. I am currently on a full time job hunt in marketing analytics and very available (with notice) to care for your dogs most days and evenings as I can search and do freelance work remotely. Depending on your dog's needs I can usually provide bathroom breaks every 4 hours in between errands, etc. My calendar will be updated to show days I plan to be away. At this time, I can care for pets in my client's home. I do need to bring my dogs for the overnight portion of the stay but will keep them separate in a room/space of your choosing during the evening (and on bedroom floor at night). They are very dog friendly just very sleepy and do well snoozing someplace quiet.
“Zachary was great! We were away for the day and he came by a few times throughout the day to walk our two labs. We would definitely recommend him and look forward to having him watch our pups again some time soon!”

About: Hi, I'm Sumeena! I provide dependable pet care and house sitting throughout the South Shore area, helping pets stay comfortable in their own home while their owners are away. I currently have extended availability this summer and am available for vacation stays, longer house sitting requests, and last-minute travel needs whenever possible. I currently have extended summer availability, making me a great option for vacations, longer trips, and house sitting stays. I understand how important it is to have someone reliable caring for both your pets and your home when you can't be there. I'm an Education Support Professional in a special education classroom, where patience, consistency, communication, and attention to detail are essential every day. I bring those same qualities to pet care by following routines carefully, noticing small changes, and providing calm, dependable support. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, and other small animals for friends and family over many years. Growing up in a rural area also gave me experience around animals, including helping neighbors care for farm animals. When house sitting, I provide attentive care while respecting your home and keeping your pet's routine as consistent as possible. Care may include feeding, walks, playtime, companionship, litter box care, following detailed instructions, medication administration when needed, and regular photo and message updates. My goal is to provide trustworthy, compassionate care so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pets and home are in good hands. I currently have availability for house sitting and vacation care from June 27–July 10, and again beginning August 11th through early September. During these periods, I’m able to dedicate my time and attention to providing consistent care, maintaining your pet’s routine, and giving regular updates while you’re away. When I’m available, I enjoy providing dependable companionship, walks, feeding, and home care while helping pets feel comfortable in their familiar environment. I’m happy to follow detailed instructions and adjust care to meet each pet’s individual needs. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my priority is keeping pets safe, comfortable, and on their normal routine while also treating their home with respect. I understand that inviting someone into your home is a big responsibility, and I take that trust seriously. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, medications, exercise, routines, and any special needs your pets may have. I pay close attention to behavior and changes in your pet’s comfort level so I can provide the best care possible. I will maintain a clean and secure environment, respect your space and belongings, and provide regular photo and message updates so you feel connected while you’re away. My goal is for you to return home knowing your pets were cared for and your home was respected. I’m comfortable caring for pets with different personalities and needs, including shy pets who need patience and a calm approach. I focus on creating a safe, predictable, and positive experience for every pet I care for.
“Isabelle was fantastic! She was quick to respond and take on a last minute request to drop in and take care of my two dogs. She was very nice, asked questions to make sure she knew everything to take care of them, and was communicative during her time with my dogs. I felt very comfortable leaving my dogs knowing she was watching them. I will definitely reach out again for future bookings.”

About: Becoming a dog mom in January 2026 has taught me so much about caring for puppies and understanding their unique needs. Over the past several months, I've gained experience with potty training, crate training, daily walks, feeding schedules, socialization, enrichment, and all the energy and love that comes with raising a puppy. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet because I would want the same for my own dog. I'm patient, dependable, and attentive to each dog's personality and routine. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while giving owners confidence that their furry family member is in good hands. I work full-time on a hybrid schedule, with three days working from home each week. Because I have a young puppy of my own, I spend much of my free time at home and maintain a flexible routine. This allows me to provide attentive care, regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. My puppy is still learning and can be a little shy around new dogs at first, but she is friendly and typically becomes more comfortable with proper introductions and time to adjust. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. As a puppy owner, I understand the importance of consistency, patience, and close supervision. I carefully follow each pet's routine, including feeding schedules, exercise needs, medications, and any special instructions. My puppy is friendly but can be a little nervous around new dogs initially, so I take introductions slowly and always prioritize a calm, safe environment. I provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident knowing your pet is being cared for like family.
“Alaina was absolutely amazing at stopping by to take care of my bunny rabbit, Malibu! She was super communicative, and it was such a relief knowing Malibu was in great hands. We will definitely be reaching out to Alaina again!”

Caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life, and I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family members. Whether your pet needs a walk, playtime, companionship, or simply a little extra love while you're away, I'll treat them with the same care, patience, and attention that I would give my own. My goal is to make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and happy while giving you peace of mind. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! I currently work part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to dedicate plenty of time, attention, and care to the pets I look after. I understand that every animal has unique needs and personalities, and I am committed to making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're unavailable. I will care for your pets as if they were my own and provide dependable communication and updates for your peace of mind. I understand how important it is for pets to feel comfortable in their own home. I will follow your pet's routine, provide plenty of love and attention, keep their environment clean and safe, and make sure they receive the care they need while you're unavailable. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pets are happy, comfortable, and well cared for.
About: Holly is the founder and primary dog walker at Down With Dogs Pet Care based in Weymouth, MA. She has cared for animals since a young age and is licensed, insured, and pet CPR and first-aid certified. Rescuing her dog, Rumi, and training her inspired Holly to want to work more with animals. She found that reactive dogs especially respond well to her calming nature and clear communication style. She also has a senior cat with medical needs named Coco who is her first baby. Holly has a special place in her heart for the kittys too! With a background in Marketing and as a registered yoga teacher, Holly started caring for her neighbors’ dogs in 2022 while they were away on travel. Four years later, she worked with a local dog walking company before starting Down With Dogs in 2026. Her signature offerings include dog walks, hikes, small play groups and drop in visits during the day time while pet owners are away at work or vacationing. Holly love spending time outdoors and getting to know your pet’s routine while offering them the critical exercise and companionship they need to live a long healthy life! Message Holly to discuss your pet care needs today! I enjoy walking dogs or making house visits during the week days when my children are at school (mornings, mid day, and early afternoon). I’m also available for evening and overnight visits in your home on a case by case basis. I’m looking to find clients who I can grow with and essentially become a part of the family. For now I’m offering care in your home or visits with your dog like walks, hikes, or play groups at an outdoor dog park. For overnight visits, I recommend visits 3 times in the day: once in the morning time for breakfast and a walk, once again in the afternoon, and then a night time visit as well before bedtime.
“I have booked with Sara twice now- for check-in and walking my Great Dane. She has been wonderful and took excellent care of Roady. She’s very responsive and sends updates, which really put me at ease. I had not used pet services for my dog before this and would 100% recommended Sara!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. Currently in my house, we have 3 dogs and 2 cats that I help take care of. I have been on Rover for about 6 years. I am an elementary teacher and high school girls basketball coach. I am currently on summer break since I am an elementary teacher. This means that I have a lot of free time because I am not working anywhere else. I am a very active person, so I love playing with all dogs and taking them on nice, long walks. I have also been around dogs and cats my whole life, so I love spending time with all animals.
“I would highly recommend Amanda, as she’s a delightful and positive young woman who clearly loves animals and took very good care of our two dogs. She took notes during our meet n greet and made sure to attend to all their needs. We would definitely book her again!”

“Isabella was fantastic! She helped us with a last minute request and was a great per sitter to our two cats and bunny. She was responsive, friendly and sent us regular pics and updates. Our critters were well looked after while we were away. Would definitely hire again ?”

I can’t recommend Alex enough!! Upon first meeting him for our meet-and-greet with our two Great Danes, he was so professional and kind. Throughout the 8 days that Alex was caring for our dogs, he was incredibly thoughtful, thorough, and supportive. There were several extremely hot days where our house wouldn’t cool down and he thought of creative solution in order to keep the dogs more comfortable. He provided very detailed updates along with pictures during each visit, and it was very evident that the dogs were so happy with him (it’s fun to watch a Great Dane “hug” and cuddle a new friend☺️). Normally our dogs bark when visitors enter our house (even people they’ve known for years), but they were so comfortable and familiar with Alex by the end of the 8 days that they didn’t even bark at him anymore. It’s clear that they quickly fell in love with Alex. I appreciate how much he truly cared about the well-being of our dogs while we were away. I felt very at-ease while we were away because I knew they were in such great hands. When we got home from our vacation our dogs were so relaxed and content, which goes to show how well they were cared for while we were gone. I will definitely be contacting Alex again!!

Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
