She followed all of my care instructions very carefully and was extremely attentive to my cats’ needs while I was away. One thing that really stood out to me was how quickly she noticed an issue with my cat Bruce, who has chronic constipation. I had explained the warning signs to look out for before I left, and the very first night I was gone she noticed he was trying to use the litter box but couldn’t. She contacted me immediately, made herself available for a phone call, and followed all of the care steps I walked her through. Thankfully, Bruce improved a lot after that, and I was so grateful she caught it so early. She also sent constant updates and photos throughout the trip, so I was never left wondering how my babies were doing. Catherine house sat for two nights as well, and when I came home my apartment was exactly as I left it. I felt like my cats and home were genuinely cared for while I was away. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and compassionate pet sitter.”

When I’m available, I enjoy providing dependable companionship, walks, feeding, and home care while helping pets feel comfortable in their familiar environment. About: I have never lived in a household without pets before, so taking care of cats and dogs (and fish) is something I’ve done my whole life. I’ve owned three black labs and multiple cats over the years. I especially love big dogs, but am a big fan of all animals! Besides Saturdays, I am available any day and any times through the summer. I start law school at the very end of August and will have less availability at that time, but I will still be looking for work! I love to keep my pets active and enriched, whether that means going on a walk, playing fetch in the yard, or going to the beach for a swim!

About: Treat Others the Way You Would Like To Be Treated, and that includes animals. I have always been an animal lover since I was a child. Spending my time helping out in animal shelters every opportunity I had, watching over and caring for the dogs, cats, rodents and reptiles of my friends, my friends families, my family and my own animals. I’ve walked, house sat and fostered many animals. I am a firm believer that animals are incredibly intelligent and if you give respect, you receive respect. I work in Dog Hiking. I work with a variety of breeds and personalities. I am also volunteering under a recovery dog training organization where I’m learning a variety of dog training skills. My availability has recently opened up. I am in a position to go forward with the next steps in my life and begin building connections in a new area. I work certain hours a week and now will be scheduling my outside commitments based on whatever dog walking and sitting routine I create. Every pet is different and has different needs. I personally create a schedule for each animal starting with their name, timing how to meet their own personal needs, whether it’s exercise, socializing, eating habits, medications etc. I show up on time and I am there for them, that is how I do my job because I care.

About: I can handle dogs of all different breeds and love to treat them with the love and respect they deserve! I love what I do! I am currently working a full time job during the week Monday through Friday, so weekends work best for me to be able to take care of dogs. I'm in nursing school so I have a compassion for anything that has heartbeat and even stuffed animals. I will make sure any animal I take care of or walk or encounter has the best experience. I'm at nursing student, Merrimack College, and being able to take care of any pet would allow me to debrief and see a cute pet. My dog gets walk very frequently because we live in an apartment.
