“Colleen did a wonderful job watching our dog for a week while we were out of town. She left our home extremely clean and was very communicative with updates and photos. We’d recommend her for anyone looking for pet care and house sitting!”

About: I have had experience taking care of retired police dogs for 5+ years. I have taken care of many large and small dogs as well as multiple cats, rabbits, exotic fish, guinea pigs, and hamsters. I myself also have had 3 dogs of my own and 7 cats. Right now I am self employed and have plenty of availability to help out with pet care. I am available for overnight care as well as daytime care/check ins. I treat my pets with utmost respect and kindness. I enjoy playing and spending time with all animals. If a conflict erupts I can separate by either putting your pet in a crate or using a separate room.
About: Animals have always been part of my life. I’ve cared for everything from outside cats and dogs to chickens and reptiles, which makes me comfortable with all personalities and needs. I’m calm, patient, and dedicated to giving your pets loving, reliable care. Neighbors and friends have also trusted me to care for their home and pets while they are away, and they have been more than satisfied! I’m not currently working full-time, so I have a lot of availability and flexibility to care for your home and pets! I am available everyday of the week. I am very respectful of my clients’ homes when I am caring for their animals. I would love to be able to care for your animal in their home so they feel comfortable!
About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life. Through caring for puppies, high energy young dogs, and senior dogs, I have gained experience with a wide range of needs. Understanding what our furry companions require is important to me, and I take that responsibility very seriously. I work full time during the week, so my availability is limited to the weekends. I like to get up early and also don't mind staying late/spending the night. Going away for the weekend? I'm happy to help! I am an active person and enjoy taking dogs out for walks. I also find enrichment to be important and am happy to engage in such activities with your pet. Additionally, I often find it valuable to simply share space with a pet, so they feel less alone and more comfortable. I am happy to modify my care strategy in any way that is meaningful and important to the pet and its owner.
“Madeline was exemplary in providing attentive care for Teddy and the house while we were away for a long weekend. She followed our protocol sheet to a “T” and provided exercise and comfort for Teddy daily. Madeline kept the house spotless and took care of any additional concerns with ease. We will be looking to work with Madeline again in the future.”

“Bridget took the best care of our furbaby Arlo while we traveled for a week. It was the first time we had left him this long and she took amazing care of him and kept us updated the entire time (she takes great pictures!) which was so reassuring for us. Arlo is a playful, somewhat anxious young dog with a few medical issues and Bridget handled everything perfectly and proactively. Left our place even neater than we had. Thank you so much Bridget!”

“Wow!!! How lucky are we to have found Allegra!!! She is AMAZING!! Allegra stayed with our dog, Koko, at our house for three weeks while we were away on vacation. Koko is a smart and gorgeous covid rescue who is still leery of strangers and remains fearful of being given away. She is very much attached at the hip … to just us … so we were worried about how she would do with a stranger. Flash forward, there was no need to worry! Allegra connected with Koko right away… which is no small feat! Allegra gained Koko’s trust in no time. Like us, she took Koko on varied daily adventures… to cranberry bogs, beaches and state parks. Bottom line is … Koko absolutely adores Allegra and I think the feeling is mutual! Allegra is kind, respectful, conscientious, and communicative. She sent us lots of pictures documenting how much fun she and Koko were having together. Plus, she took wonderful care of our home! We arrived home to a happy dog and an immaculate house! Allegra obviously takes pride in doing a great job and we are tickled pink that she kept up our daily routines with Koko. We will definitely request Allegra in the future. She will ALWAYS be our first choice!”

About: Hello! Thank you for clicking on my page today. My name is Valerie and I would love to look after your furry family member. For the last 16 years I've had a dog in my family. Taking care of her showed me how much I love animals and I'd love to extend this love to lots of different animals. I consider myself to be professional, outgoing, and flexible. I pride myself on providing quality service for my clients and their furry friends and I feel devoted to connecting with people just as much as their pets. Dog safety is my number one focus at all times. Keeping your dog happy, healthy, and safe is considered a bare minimum requirement for me. I also feel it's important to acknowledge that every dog, just like every person, is different and that treating each new dog with it's own individual form of respect and care is very important. No two dogs are the same and I look forward to rising to the occasion to care for your dog's individual needs. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out! I'm currently working on Rover being my full-time gig so I have more than enough time for you and your furry family member. Please reach out and I will make any accommodations necessary. Like every person, animals share unique personalities, experiences, and histories. I start by listening and taking in all the information from you the owner. Once I understand, to a T, what you require I then turn my attention to our furry friend. I do my best to be intuitive and listen to their body language and mannerisms to give them the right care they need. Is your dog giving me a whale eye or a play sneeze? Does you cat have scared airplane ears or a nice perky and curious tail? All of these pieces of body language ensure that your furry friend and I can get along swimmingly.
“Patricia did a great job caring for our kitties. One gets a bunch of medications, and the other gets stressed without human company, so it’s not easy leaving them. She was so communicative, flexible and thoughtful. The cats were happy to see us when we got home, which is their way of saying they had a good time.”

“Pamela was wonderful! She was professional and provided lots of updates and photos! I truly felt so comfortable with her being with my pup! She even got my shy dude to warm up to her! I cannot recommend Pamela enough!”

About: Hi there! I’m Erin— originally from and currently living in Hingham. I’ve taken care of dogs professionally for three years now. I also grew up with a dog named Lucy who was part German Shepherd and part lab so I am accustomed to big dogs. She was primary responsibility when I was a teenager. While living in DC in my twenties, I walked dogs part-time through Wag for seven years. I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs, big and small, puppies and seniors all across the city. I do both walks and sittings. I currently work a regular 9 to 5 in Boston so I mainly walk dogs in the evenings and dog sit on the weekends. I work from home Fridays so have more flexibility then too. I treat all dogs I walk or sit with the love and gentleness I would show them if they were my own. I also always make sure your dog is comfortable with me and trusts me before the walk and/or sitting. I am a strong communicator and ask that pet owners let me know any triggers the dog might have as well as their unique quirks.

It was our first time leaving our puppy and we were reassured throughout our vacation by Eva’s photos and updates. She also took great card of our house - even my potted plants looked better when we returned!”

“Andrew was so great! He came to meet our puppy before the first sit which we really appreciated. He also made sure to send updates and pictures while we were away and we felt very comfortable leaving our pup with him. We will be happy to have him come back, and I’m sure Peanut will as well!”

“Ashlee is amazing! I was very hesitant on hiring someone that I did not know to watch my five cats while I was away on vacation for an entire week and Ashlee immediately made me feel comfortable from the second I met her. she stayed at my house and sent me pictures on a regular basis and kept me updated.
