I have a very nervous German Shepherd with bad separation anxiety and she was such a calm and loving presence for him. He took to her immediately and loved her (he was screaming when she left lol). She took him on walks and a couple car rides because he kept asking 🥺 she even did a tick check after taking him on a walk and she’s honestly one of the sweetest humans I have met and really went above and beyond for my Thanos and I’m sad we were only visiting Boston or I’d hire her all the time!! “This was my first experience having a sitter stay at my house vs. boarding him in their home. Having met Katie beforehand for a meet and greet and seeing her with Ollie, I felt totally secure entrusting him in her care. She seemed very comfortable, competent and Ollie was very at ease around her. The only issue, that turned out differently than I had realized is she had another committed job during the days so she was not able to spend most of that time with him. She did leave her other job briefly, to come back and walk him but I had imagined him getting more outings, attention, exercise and company for more hours during the day than he did! One of the issues, which I had brought up at our meet and greet was that Ollie was not a dog that might get along with other dogs or small children, so she would need to work around that. We discussed that she might take him on hikes, etc. but as it turned out, her other job included kids so she was unable to include him! Once back at the house for the evenings, I feel sure that Katie was responsive and caring with Ollie and she did send pictures of him during our time away. I certainly would not hesitate to recommend Katie as a caretaker for your pet. I just wish I had had a better idea of how much time would be spent with Ollie, as it was much less than he normally receives. Other situations might be different with her ability to include your pet with her other job, if they are well suited to kids, etc. So, I would definitely hire her, without reservation, if that might be the case!”
About: I have been in the caring business since my teenage years - babysitting my younger siblings, caring for my family dog, running a summer enrichment program for at risk youth, caring for horses at a dude ranch and a western suburbs farm, minding many friends' dogs, and wrangling my own two senior dogs - brother and sister, now 14 years old. (But, so rambunctious for their first 10+ years). I love dogs and will care for your dog just as you would. One of my dogs is now blind and the other requires daily subcutaneous fluids so I am willing and able to help out with any of your pet's special needs as well..... I know how stressful it can be to ensure a routine is kept. Pet first aid and CPR certified. I am currently on a full time job hunt in marketing analytics and very available (with notice) to care for your dogs most days and evenings as I can search and do freelance work remotely. Depending on your dog's needs I can usually provide bathroom breaks every 4 hours in between errands, etc. My calendar will be updated to show days I plan to be away. At this time, I can care for pets in my client's home. I do need to bring my dogs for the overnight portion of the stay but will keep them separate in a room/space of your choosing during the evening (and on bedroom floor at night). They are very dog friendly just very sleepy and do well snoozing someplace quiet.

Molly was absolutely fantastic. We were so worried because our plans fell through for someone to watch our Maggie girl, so we needed someone last minute to stay at our house while we were away on an extended weekend trip. We had never used Rover before so we were a little cautious. Molly came over our home before the trip to meet us all, play with Maggie, and let us ask her a bunch of questions. Eva exceeded every expectation. Minka can be temperamental but she was 100% comfortable with Eva from their first meeting. Some people have a natural empathy with animals and Eva is one of them. Eva kept us up to date with daily pictures and reports. I have never been more comfortable entrusting Minka’s care with anyone more than I was entrusting Minka to Eva.
