About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, ever since I can remember – I love lending a hand to my neighbors too, whether it's popping over to feed their pets, letting them out for a run, taking them on walks, or even staying overnight to keep them company. What I really adore is discovering the unique personalities and wonderful qualities that make each and every animal so special. While I work full-time, my schedule offers significant flexibility as I work remotely two days a week. This allows me to accommodate early morning walks, or I can be available for walks and check-ins throughout my workday for potty breaks or feeding, especially during unexpected cancellations. Additionally, I have ample availability on weekends and am comfortable with evening walks. I'm also happy to offer overnight stays and house-sitting, and can even leave directly from your home for my workday. When I'm looking after an animal at someone's house, I really focus on making sure they're safe, building trust, and keeping their environment as normal as possible. For safety, I stick to their usual routines, learn all about their specific needs and any health stuff, and always double-check the house to make sure everything is safe and they haven't had any accidents or have gotten into anything. Building trust with you means I'll keep you updated, respect your home and privacy, and always show how much I care about your pet as well double checking with you if I have any questions (never assuming). And keeping their environment consistent and positive really helps the animal feel secure and less stressed, so their home stays their cozy, familiar spot even when you're away.
“Cari did a great job taking care of my kitty. She is lovely and she was prompt and thorough. I felt that all was well while I was away. I highly recommend Cari and will have her over again on my next time away!”

About: Hello! Thank you for clicking on my page today. My name is Valerie and I would love to look after your furry family member. For the last 16 years I've had a dog in my family. Taking care of her showed me how much I love animals and I'd love to extend this love to lots of different animals. I consider myself to be professional, outgoing, and flexible. I pride myself on providing quality service for my clients and their furry friends and I feel devoted to connecting with people just as much as their pets. Dog safety is my number one focus at all times. Keeping your dog happy, healthy, and safe is considered a bare minimum requirement for me. I also feel it's important to acknowledge that every dog, just like every person, is different and that treating each new dog with it's own individual form of respect and care is very important. No two dogs are the same and I look forward to rising to the occasion to care for your dog's individual needs. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out! I'm currently working on Rover being my full-time gig so I have more than enough time for you and your furry family member. Please reach out and I will make any accommodations necessary. Like every person, animals share unique personalities, experiences, and histories. I start by listening and taking in all the information from you the owner. Once I understand, to a T, what you require I then turn my attention to our furry friend. I do my best to be intuitive and listen to their body language and mannerisms to give them the right care they need. Is your dog giving me a whale eye or a play sneeze? Does you cat have scared airplane ears or a nice perky and curious tail? All of these pieces of body language ensure that your furry friend and I can get along swimmingly.
“I have booked with Sara twice now- for check-in and walking my Great Dane. She has been wonderful and took excellent care of Roady. She’s very responsive and sends updates, which really put me at ease. I had not used pet services for my dog before this and would 100% recommended Sara!”

I work part time so I am available mornings and late afternoon/nights to care for your pets! Great for escaping the summer heat on our walks! My babies are my family and I will treat your pets with the same respect! One of the most rewarding experiences is helping a nervous animal come out of their shell. About: Holly is the founder and primary dog walker at Down With Dogs Pet Care based in Weymouth, MA. She has cared for animals since a young age and is licensed, insured, and pet CPR and first-aid certified. Rescuing her dog, Rumi, and training her inspired Holly to want to work more with animals. She found that reactive dogs especially respond well to her calming nature and clear communication style. She also has a senior cat with medical needs named Coco who is her first baby. Holly has a special place in her heart for the kittys too! With a background in Marketing and as a registered yoga teacher, Holly started caring for her neighbors’ dogs in 2022 while they were away on travel. Four years later, she worked with a local dog walking company before starting Down With Dogs in 2026. Her signature offerings include dog walks, hikes, small play groups and drop in visits during the day time while pet owners are away at work or vacationing. Holly love spending time outdoors and getting to know your pet’s routine while offering them the critical exercise and companionship they need to live a long healthy life! Message Holly to discuss your pet care needs today! I enjoy walking dogs or making house visits during the week days when my children are at school (mornings, mid day, and early afternoon). I’m also available for evening and overnight visits in your home on a case by case basis. I’m looking to find clients who I can grow with and essentially become a part of the family. For now I’m offering care in your home or visits with your dog like walks, hikes, or play groups at an outdoor dog park. For overnight visits, I recommend visits 3 times in the day: once in the morning time for breakfast and a walk, once again in the afternoon, and then a night time visit as well before bedtime.

About: I have been pet setting for friends and family for the past fifteen years. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each and every fur baby I come in contact with. I do not have pets of our own, so we really take this time to provide all the love and attention to your pet while we have them Spending time with me . I have grown up with dogs and cats, my entire life, and once we moved to Charlotte, have helped our neighbors tremendously while they vacation our daily walks around our community. Days are that much more fun when we have someone to bring along with us , especially since we have a dog park walking distance from our home. I can’t wait to meet your loving pet, and give it the same love and attention it deserves. I work from home, so have unlimited time to give your pet attention and take for as many walks as needed. Typically I take two walks a day, but frequently take more when pet sitting there is an enclosed porch area that are smaller dogs that we watch like to hang out on to get sun and fresh air since our yard is not fully enclosed. On weekends that we are pet sitting, we make it a point to stay local and to include your pet in any of the activities that we do around the house. We have a large yard and an enclosed porch area that we can spend time with your dog on. Within walking distance from our house, there’s a small dog park as well. I spend a lot of time outside, walking multiple times a day and would be happy to have your pet accompany. My daughter Isabella is very mature and is excellent with helping. Keep your pet entertained if that is what they prefer. For the dogs that I have sat, and are not as active, I make sure that they have the space that they need and attentive enough to understand when there needs change.
About: I have experience taking care of many different dogs and pets, including birds, fish, and guinea pigs. I had my own dog for thirteen years and then helped my dad with his puppy. For one family I nannied for I would take care of the blind and partially deaf dog that they owned. I would take him for walks, out side play time, quick drop-ins, and take him for car rides to do hiking trails. I would also bathe, feed, and give medication if needed. I would also stay with the dog while the family would go away for vacations. I have taken mine and friend’s dogs to the local dog parks. I do work Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm, so I can let dogs out before and after work. I do work full time Monday to Friday 8-6 so I can care for animals before and after work on the week days and I am fully available on weekends. When animal sitting at clients homes I will spend as much time outside with the pets for fresh air and exercise. I give them their meals on schedule along with any medications they may need.
“Jackie is the most reliable pet sitter we have ever worked with. She is attentive, understanding, and really goes above and beyond for her fur clients. We could not enjoy our time away from home without her help. She is a true professional with a passion for animals. She is wonderful!”
About: I have always had 2+ very large Golden Retrievers at my home and have grown up with a dog in my house my entire life. I consider them to be a family member and adore having them in the house. I have experience with walking large, strong dogs as my dogs are very large and tend to pull on the leash. I have also had experience dropping by and walking dogs while their owners were at work, and caring for dogs while the owner was away on vacation for multiple days. As I am moved away from home, I no longer get to see my dogs everyday so I would love the opportunity to help you out and care for your pet so I can have a furry friend! I hope I can establish a relationship with you and your dog to help you as needed in the future! :) I work remotely so can pop by to let your dog out or take them on a walk mid-day or after work! I am also available most weekends. I am very active and am able to take your dog on a long walk or even a hike if permitted. I have a yard in a small neighborhood, but it is not fenced in. Depending on the day or time needed, I would love to take your dog out on a hike or for a long stroll throughout the day to keep active :)

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
