About: Hello! Thank you for clicking on my page today. My name is Valerie and I would love to look after your furry family member. For the last 16 years I've had a dog in my family. Taking care of her showed me how much I love animals and I'd love to extend this love to lots of different animals. I consider myself to be professional, outgoing, and flexible. I pride myself on providing quality service for my clients and their furry friends and I feel devoted to connecting with people just as much as their pets. Dog safety is my number one focus at all times. Keeping your dog happy, healthy, and safe is considered a bare minimum requirement for me. I also feel it's important to acknowledge that every dog, just like every person, is different and that treating each new dog with it's own individual form of respect and care is very important. No two dogs are the same and I look forward to rising to the occasion to care for your dog's individual needs. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out! Like every person, animals share unique personalities, experiences, and histories. I start by listening and taking in all the information from you the owner. Once I understand, to a T, what you require I then turn my attention to our furry friend. I do my best to be intuitive and listen to their body language and mannerisms to give them the right care they need. Is your dog giving me a whale eye or a play sneeze? Does you cat have scared airplane ears or a nice perky and curious tail? All of these pieces of body language ensure that your furry friend and I can get along swimmingly.

About: Hi there! I’m Erin— originally from and currently living in Hingham. I’ve taken care of dogs professionally for three years now. I also grew up with a dog named Lucy who was part German Shepherd and part lab so I am accustomed to big dogs. She was primary responsibility when I was a teenager. While living in DC in my twenties, I walked dogs part-time through Wag for seven years. I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs, big and small, puppies and seniors all across the city. I do both walks and sittings. I currently work a regular 9 to 5 in Boston so I mainly walk dogs in the evenings and dog sit on the weekends. I work from home Fridays so have more flexibility then too. I treat all dogs I walk or sit with the love and gentleness I would show them if they were my own. I also always make sure your dog is comfortable with me and trusts me before the walk and/or sitting. I am a strong communicator and ask that pet owners let me know any triggers the dog might have as well as their unique quirks.

About: I have had experience taking care of retired police dogs for 5+ years. I have taken care of many large and small dogs as well as multiple cats, rabbits, exotic fish, guinea pigs, and hamsters. I myself also have had 3 dogs of my own and 7 cats. Right now I am self employed and have plenty of availability to help out with pet care. I am available for overnight care as well as daytime care/check ins. I treat my pets with utmost respect and kindness. I enjoy playing and spending time with all animals. If a conflict erupts I can separate by either putting your pet in a crate or using a separate room.

About: I have been a dog owner since I was a child. I have taken care of neighbors, friends and family dogs and rely on me for walks. I am working from home so I have plenty of time to take dogs for walks. I take my own dog for 3 walks a day. I am willing to travel to local towns to walk your dog. I have clients in Hull, Hingham, Cohasset, Braintree and Weymouth. I live in a condo but I am near the beach. My dog loves to go for walks along the beach. I take him to the dog park so he can run and interactive with other dogs. There are many dog owners in my complex.

About: My husband and I are both animal lovers and live in a house with great outdoor space. We are also near some great dog parks, walking trails, and the beach! We love taking care of our friends pets and would be happy to help out. My husband and I work from home and are always available for walks during the day, letting them out for the bathroom, and taking them to the park. We also have a 2 year old medium size cattle dog mix who loves to play! She can be nervous at first meetings but once she gets comfortable, she is very playful. We are a pet-loving household and spend a lot of time walking and out at the park. We know how to keep things safe for pets through years of experience watching our friends dogs as well as family dogs and we are confident that your pet will be happy and safe with us.

About: Growing up I was allergic to dogs so didn't have one but we had other pets. Eventually, my dog allergy faded. In 2016 we adopted our first dog Coco from the SPCA in Hong Kong and fell in love with dogs of all shapes and sizes ever since. We now have a new dog named Leia who is bringing more joy to our family and anyone she meets! I work part-time so have plenty of time for runs, walks and bike rides to keep your dog happy and healthy. We also have three teenage kids who will be good play buddies. I have a fenced-in yard area and our property is just over 1 acre so your dog will have plenty of space. We’ve taken care of both large and small dogs.

About: I am your neighborhood SAHM who loves dogs and wants to help local families take care of their pets. I have a 3yr old Great Pyrenees mix and a 13yr old Beagle mix and I often take care of my in laws Pugs and Shih Tzus. Big or small, puppy or mature, I am experienced with all types of dogs. I’m a stay-at-home mom with all three kids finally in school full time, which means I have a flexible schedule and can usually help out on short notice. While weekends are a little less open, I often have a few hours here and there available I have a fully fenced yard and two friendly dogs ready to play! I live near Wompatuck State Park and love taking dogs on the trails for walks. I also drive a family van and can provide pick-up and drop-off if needed. If you’d prefer your pup stays local, I’m happy to walk them right in your neighborhood too.

About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life. Through caring for puppies, high energy young dogs, and senior dogs, I have gained experience with a wide range of needs. Understanding what our furry companions require is important to me, and I take that responsibility very seriously. I work full time during the week, so my availability is limited to the weekends. I like to get up early and also don't mind staying late/spending the night. Going away for the weekend? I'm happy to help! I am an active person and enjoy taking dogs out for walks. I also find enrichment to be important and am happy to engage in such activities with your pet. Additionally, I often find it valuable to simply share space with a pet, so they feel less alone and more comfortable. I am happy to modify my care strategy in any way that is meaningful and important to the pet and its owner.

About: I have always had my own dogs and cats throughout my life. I now find myself without a pet and really miss my own pups! Also, I have been working with a Service Dog Trainer in order to train those hard-working dogs! It has been very rewarding, and I also would like to help you with anything that you need help with to allow your dog be the best dog they can be. I am currently working on my training certification full time but since my schedule is flexible, I can meet the time needs of your pet. I am working towards my Training Certification which has been really exciting for me. I will always walk your dog on his/her leash unless I am advised otherwise. I live near a few parks but also enjoy dog walking at the Beach. Dog socialization is important, but your pet's safety and happiness is paramount to me. I live alone so I can devote all of my attention to your pet

About: Dogs have my heart, but I’ve loved and cared for animals of all kinds. I don’t have any right now, and I definitely feel that missing piece. My previous family dogs have lived long lives such as a 20 year-old Jack Russell terrier and 15-year-old black lab mix. I own a huge fenced in backyard with lots of room for run and play. I currently work full-time, but local to the South Shore. I have optional work from home days, a long lunch break, and a flexible schedule. My nighttime schedule is pretty available and weekends too.
