“William was great with my cat, Bobby! He took extra care to make sure Bobby was comfortable and happy while I was gone— even leaving out extra blankets when the heat went out for the morning. He made it so I didn’t have to worry about Bobby at all during my trip because I knew he was so well taken care of!”

“Super happy! She has a great attention to detail, and my dogs seemed really relaxed around her. Usually I am very anxious about leaving my dogs for others to watch, since sometimes they can be very particular and difficult. I had zero worries with Nathalia and if I wasn’t moving I would totally hire her again!”

“Eva did a great job taking care of our dog Lexi. Really easy to work with and extremely communicative. My wife loved the constant pictures and our dog loved the long walks. Highly recommended and will definitely work with her again.”

About: What sets me apart is my calm, attentive approach and extensive hands-on experience with animals. I have been a vet assistant for 2 years now, previously working as a kennel attendant the year before. I hope to attend vet school in the future and caring for animals is not just my job but my passion. I treat every pet as if they were my own, prioritizing their comfort, safety, and individual needs. I am a recent college graduate with a full time job, but I also have a passion for animals. I am trying to save money during my gap years before graduate school, so making some extra money while doing something I love is perfect! When caring for pets in their own home, I follow the routines and instructions provided by the owner to ensure consistency and comfort. This includes feeding, walking, cleaning up after pets, and giving lots of attention and affection. I also provide updates and photos so owners can feel confident that their pets are safe, happy, and well cared for while they’re away.
“Juliette is everything we needed - friendly, responsive, on time, caring to our fur baby, and communicative. She also took some of the best pictures of Chessie we've ever seen! It was fun to see the pics every day. We had peace of mind when we were away and are looking forward to having her cat sit again.”

“If you are looking for the best of the best for your pet—Isabelle is IT! My partner and I have jobs that occasionally require last minute scheduling changes and we are incredibly grateful for Isabelle’s flexibility and communication. She is so kind and her experience shines through with our sweet Penny who has had many health challenges. We feel so so lucky to have met Isabelle & know Penny is in the absolute best hands when we cannot be there with her!!!”

“I have booked with Sara twice now- for check-in and walking my Great Dane. She has been wonderful and took excellent care of Roady. She’s very responsive and sends updates, which really put me at ease. I had not used pet services for my dog before this and would 100% recommended Sara!”

About: Hello! Thank you for clicking on my page today. My name is Valerie and I would love to look after your furry family member. For the last 16 years I've had a dog in my family. Taking care of her showed me how much I love animals and I'd love to extend this love to lots of different animals. I consider myself to be professional, outgoing, and flexible. I pride myself on providing quality service for my clients and their furry friends and I feel devoted to connecting with people just as much as their pets. Dog safety is my number one focus at all times. Keeping your dog happy, healthy, and safe is considered a bare minimum requirement for me. I also feel it's important to acknowledge that every dog, just like every person, is different and that treating each new dog with it's own individual form of respect and care is very important. No two dogs are the same and I look forward to rising to the occasion to care for your dog's individual needs. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out! I'm currently working on Rover being my full-time gig so I have more than enough time for you and your furry family member. Please reach out and I will make any accommodations necessary. Like every person, animals share unique personalities, experiences, and histories. I start by listening and taking in all the information from you the owner. Once I understand, to a T, what you require I then turn my attention to our furry friend. I do my best to be intuitive and listen to their body language and mannerisms to give them the right care they need. Is your dog giving me a whale eye or a play sneeze? Does you cat have scared airplane ears or a nice perky and curious tail? All of these pieces of body language ensure that your furry friend and I can get along swimmingly.
“Justyna was excellent! She took very good care of my two fur babies. She gave medicine to my kitty and even shut the windows and turned on the ac when I asked her to over the rover app. Justyna is very friendly and easy to talk to. I definitely would recommend Justyna.”

“I had an excellent experience with this dog sitter! She was not only friendly and prompt but also extremely attentive to my dog's needs. I felt confident leaving my furry friend in their care knowing they would receive great attention and care. I highly recommend Jacqueline to anyone looking for a trustworthy and reliable caretaker for their pet.”

“Anita was incredibly helpful with taking care of our cat while we were away for a week. She was always on time and definitely gave our cat the best care while we were away! Thank you!”

“Audrey is everything I was looking for in a sitter. She was punctual, courteous and mindful of being in my home, followed instructions perfectly and I know my two dogs were so happy to be in her company! I highly recommend Audrey!”

“Kimberly came over multiple times in a week to let our dog out while my husband was away. She is always on time and gives so much attention to our dog which is so appreciated when he is home alone all day. We can’t recommend her enough!”

“Christine took fantastic care of our pets! She was very attentive and checked in with us every time there was an issue. We definitely will be booking her again in the future and recommend her to others looking for pet care/visits!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Weymouth
Molly was such a great sitter for our 2 cats! She was on time (or early) every day, she spent time giving our cats some much needed attention while we were away and sent us photos of our cat daily. She was also very gracious to take care of a few little extras that we asked her to do. Molly is very responsible, reliable, kind and efficient. We are BEYOND satisfied with her service and would not hesitate to hire her again. She’s the best!

This was my first time going away for a week since having my cat, Remy. I was nervous but chose William based on his reviews and many repeat customers. He did not disappoint! By the end of the week he won over my shy cat. I was comforted by his picture updates. He kept Remy fed, her litter box clean and my house clean! When Remy got sick, he cleaned it up. I also noticed he cleaned up the area where Remy eats (she is a messy eater)! Definitely book with William!! Thanks William!!

Andrew was fantastic and did a great job with our three cats. I'm super appreciative of his responsiveness when we had a short turnaround time, his great communication, and his friendliness. The weather was terrible (very cold, snowy, and icy!) and he still arrived at the agreed time to make sure Pumpkin got his insulin on time. I would definitely recommend him to anyone!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Weymouth. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
