“Both of our dogs were so happy with Theresa. She took care of them for two weeks, and they had a great time. Theresa provided regular updates with lots of pictures and videos. She carefully followed feeding instructions and gave medication to one of our dogs with no trouble. We were able to enjoy our trip with peace of mind that our boys were safe and being well-cared for. We would not hesitate to recommend Theresa as a sitter, and will be using her services again for our next trip.”
“Helen was great with our geriatric pup who likes her space and has anxiety. Helen was great with Olive and followed her schedule and medication protocol, provided great pics and updates and gave her space and or cuddles as needed. We would highly recommend / book again.”

“Grigorri showed that he was passionate about animals from the very beginning. He is hospitable and recognizes the needs of a pet parent because he is a good one himself.”

“It was our first time booking with Kristen and Tim and we are so thankful to have found them! Our 7 yr old dog took to them immediately and their professional/laid back approach as well as easy communication made the experience absolutely wonderful. THANK YOU!”

“Jing has great communication! She was great with my elderly dog and gave her her medicine when needed. My dog looked happy the entire time and was in a great mood afterwards!”

“Amazing! Simba got his nails done while with Heidi and I got videos and pictures the whole time. Heidi has a HUGE backyard where Simba can run, too! Highly recommend and Simba will for sure be back our next trip!”

About: I’m a caring cat and dog mom with lifelong experience with pets. I have a 3 year old cat and a 2 year old dog, who are my whole world. I love playing with energetic puppies and kittens, and I also have experience caring for sweet senior dogs, having grown up with two dogs with my parents. I’m a private music teacher with a flexible schedule and currently spend most of my time at home. Your pet will have plenty of company, supervision, and attention throughout the day. I provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, meals, and personalized care based on each pet’s routine. I’m available for boarding, drop-in visits, and dog walks throughout the week, including weekends and holidays, and I’m always happy to accommodate your pet’s needs whenever possible. I live with my husband, a friendly 2-year-old Bichpoo, and a calm, gentle cat. Our home is filled with cozy beds, toys, and treats for both cats and dogs. We’re also within walking distance of a dog park, making it easy to give dogs extra exercise and outdoor fun if that’s something they enjoy. We vacuum twice a day and mop every other day to keep our home clean, safe, and comfortable. Your pet will receive plenty of love, attention, playtime, and personalized care, so they can feel relaxed, happy, and right at home.
“Rene is great, has the perfect setup for my lab to run, play with other dogs in a safe environment. I highly recommend Rene especially for Lab, Golden and owners of similar dog breeds that need plenty of exercise and play time. Rene also keeps you updated by sharing pics and videos of your dogs”

“Ashley is the best!! Our pup has so much fun with her and got along super well with her dogs. She is very responsive and sends lots of pictures and updates. Ashley is our go-to sitter when we are out of town!”

“Kevin was a great host for our pup Skylar while we were away for the weekend. He was super communicative, and sent lots of pictures, which we love. Skylar also needs some special care (daily meds and frequent walks) and Kevin was very accommodating. We would definitely use Kevin again.”

“We’re so glad Sarah and Ben were able to care of Blu at the last minute for a few days. Thank you both for taking such great care of him knowing how anxious he gets in a new place. They’re very patient and made him feel right at home. Sarah kept me posted with updates and photos too. We know Blu had fun!”

“Alec and Damien were so kind! My cat loved being at their place. There was plenty of room and things to explore and he was very much well taken care of. 100% would recommend them!”

“Zachary watched my dog Fred at short notice for Labor Day weekend. Very timely communication, Fred was immediately comfortable with Zachary during our meet and greet and in the photos, he had a lot of fun meeting new doggie friends. Came home happy but exhausted from a 3 day stay.”

Helen was great with our geriatric pup who likes her space and has anxiety. Helen was great with Olive and followed her schedule and medication protocol, provided great pics and updates and gave her space and or cuddles as needed. We would highly recommend / book again.

We left our high energy Labrador Mix, Nala, with Alena for an overnight boarding. She sent multiple unprompted updates with videos of Nala with us how her stay was going, and clearly coordinated drop off and pick up times. Alena was terrific accommodating, and Nala came home happy and very tired (which is not easy to do). 5 stars, would highly recommend, and we look forward to using her again in the future.

Lynne was amazing! This was our first time leaving our puppy for such a long period, and she made us feel completely at ease. She sent us lots of photo updates throughout his stay, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear he was well cared for and having a great time. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would absolutely trust Lynne with our pup again!

Cody had a wonderful time staying with Angela and Paul! It was easy scheduling a meet and greet, and they were very flexible with pick up/drop off times. They were attentive to Cody’s dietary restrictions, and their daughter immediately made Cody feel right at home. They made us feel so comfortable throughout his stay, sending lots of photos and updates. We would definitely bring Cody back to stay with them again!

We had such a great experience with Rachel! She took incredible care of our dog and kept us updated with photos and messages, which gave us total peace of mind. Our dog was happy, relaxed, and clearly well loved when we got home. You can tell Rachel genuinely cares about animals. We would absolutely book again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, attentive sitter. We will definitely be using Rachel again if our timing works out!

Many sitters in MA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
