“Gail was so amazing with Beau! We were able to book her last minute which was much appreciated. She gave us updates and pictures of Beau, even a doggy report card at the end! She is a true dog lover and great sitter”

“Alyssa house/pet sat for us during February break. She took great care of our two huge dogs and we were so grateful to have her keep an eye on the house for us while we traveled to California. Thanks for the peace of mind while we were on vacation! We will definitely be calling again.”

“Allegra was absolutely fantastic with our dog. Our dog has some chronic health issues and is deaf, so we are extra cautious about who watches her. Allegra did a meet and great and I knew she was a great fit. Thoughout the trip she provided pictures and updates and it was great to know our dog was being cared for in the comfort of her own home. I cannot recommend her enough!”

“Monica was AWESOME! Our flight home was cancelled and we had to stay an extra day. We found out about this at 2 AM as we were getting ready to hop on a flight. We were so stressed out that we wouldn't be able to get back to our dogs but she was so helpful! Monica agreed to stay an extra day and changed the booking, making it so that we had another day to enjoy vacation instead of worrying about our animals. She also sent pictures every day & the animals seemed super happy. She also went above & beyond by bringing in the boxes for a couch that was delivered while we were gone. I'm so grateful that Monica was so helpful and relaxed - we would have had a much more stressful trip without her!”
“Pam is absolutely fantastic. We have used her for years and she continues to care for Shaka with love. She is genuinely a kind and always dependable sitter. She is deeply appreciated my our family.”

“Ashlee did an amazing job. She was thorough, communicative, and left our house exactly as it was when we left for vacation (maybe even cleaner than we left it!). We have an anxious dog and Ashlee did great with her. We would definitely hire her again.”

About: I’ve always been an animal girl but I tend to gravitate toward dogs. I’ve worked at daycares and boarding facilities but it’s not quite like something of your own. I have two dogs myself my sweet 8 year old pittie Mazey and a 1 year old Siberian husky/Alaskan malamute mix named Nala she comes with a lot of spunk and personality. They also have two kitty siblings, Klaus and Willow. My schedule depends on the day of the week and what my bookings look like which your more than welcome to reach out to me about My knowledge of animal behavior and being available to the schedule set. I have a lot of previous and current dog experience. I am also very concerned with making your animal feel as safe and loved as possible.
About: I’ve had legitimate, paid experience caring for both cats and dogs since working in Boston for about 5 years. I have experience with obedience training and administering medications to pets. I also am reiki certified and have found this helpful when sitting anxious pets. I am an esthetician working in the city 4 days a week and have time available to help care for your pets. Trying to do more of what I love outside of my profession :) Unfortunately I’m not able to bring your pet to my home, but I am available to give them all the love, care and attention they need when you’re not able to.

About: We’ve always had dogs growing up, up to 3 at a time in our house, but I’m new to Rover. I coach soccer so I’m typically available when most others are at work. I thought this could be a fun way to some extra money. Looking forward to hearing from you! During the season my longest days are something like 2-9 so I have time during the day for quick stops and don’t mind overnight stays. When I watch for friends and family I like to vary what we do. If they have a fenced in yard that’s fun to play but I’m an active person so walks around the block, to the beach, hikes, etc are all in play.
About: I grew up with two cats and a dog, and as one of six siblings I know how to handle both energy and chaos with patience and care. I have been pet sitting for years, looking after dogs and cats of all ages and personalities, from playful puppies to senior pets who need a gentler touch. What sets me apart is my attentiveness and genuine love for animals—I make sure every pet feels safe, happy, and cared for as if they were my own. My schedule is very flexible and I am available for both full time and part time sitting. I am happy to adjust my routine around your pet’s needs, whether that means daily walks, drop in visits, or extended care. Your pet’s comfort and consistency always come first, and I will make sure they feel loved and cared for while you are away. Safety and trust are always my top priorities when caring for pets. In a client’s home, I follow your routines closely so your pet feels comfortable and secure in their familiar environment. I make sure doors and gates are properly closed, keep food and toys safe, and give plenty of attention so pets are never lonely. If I am hosting, I provide a calm and loving space where pets can feel at home. No matter the setting, I treat every pet as if they were my own and always keep their well being at the center of my care.
About: I have been walking dogs for a while now and I love their company and the time we spend together. Short walks or long walks or even time to take them to a dog park. I enjoy it all and would love to keep working with them and having a fun time. Hi my name is Thomas. My best days are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. I'm open 9am to 5pm each of those days. In advance I can do some weekends and possibly a Tuesday afternoon if needed. I would tent to their needs. If they need to be walked, feed, brushed. Or what the owner requests for me to do. I can do local pick up and drop off if needed as well.

“Karissa was great while housesitting and caring for our two dogs. She even helped us out a lot by taking one to the vet when he had a minor foot injury from playing outside. The dogs had a blast, and we appreciated being able to trust Karissa with our dogs”

Alyssa was an amazing dog sitter! She sent daily updates with photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She was very responsive, informative. It was such a relief knowing our dogs were in great hands. We would absolutely trust Alyssa to watch our dogs again!

Valerie stayed with our three dogs for five days and did a great job managing their meds and keeping up with their schedule. She gave us regular updates and left our house spotless. We came home to three dogs that barely seemed to notice we’d been gone. We will be calling Valerie again!

Eva exceeded every expectation. Minka can be temperamental but she was 100% comfortable with Eva from their first meeting. Some people have a natural empathy with animals and Eva is one of them. Eva kept us up to date with daily pictures and reports. I have never been more comfortable entrusting Minka’s care with anyone more than I was entrusting Minka to Eva. And the house was spotless when we returned. I recommend Eva without reservation.

Gavin is such a great dog sitter!! He watched our 2 dogs while we were away on vacation & they both loved him. He was available to provide updates via message and picture, followed all the care instructions, and was willing to head over to our apartment early to check on our dogs.

I only wish I could give Allegra six stars! Our dog Minka has always had an issue with boarding. She does not like the kennel and she gets very anxious boarding there. I’ve tried to find someone to board her with, but many people will not take shepherds because of insurance issues. I found Allegra on Rover and was impressed with her reviews. Minka does not do well when she first meets a new person and when Allegra came for an initial interview, Minka was not as friendly as she typically is with family and friends. Allegra was not phased in the least and said she was happy to come back and that she preferred working with big dogs. When Allegra came back to babysit for our four day trip once again, Minka greeted her with barking and suspicion. Again, Allegra was not phased in the least and by the time we got home from our short trip, Minka had been sleeping on the bed with Allegra and didn’t want her to leave. I was beginning to think Minka liked Allegra more than me! Allegra also left the house spotless! I was so relieved that Minka finally had a positive boarding experience that I already have already booked Allegra for two more trips. I would recommend Allegra highly and without reservation.

Christina stayed with our three busy dogs for a long weekend; she gave regular updates and followed all of their weird medication, supplement, and feed protocols without a hitch. She was super flexible when our travel plans coming home were uncertain, and left our house spotless. We look forward to having her again!

Great experience with Micah! Tons of updates and pictures. She took my active pup on lots of walks including some really long ones to tire him out! All instructions were followed and the house was in perfect shape when we got back. We’ve been using Rover for 5+ years and this was the best overnight experience we’ve had so far. Highly recommend.

Molly has been great for us. She’s helped us out in a pinch a couple of times. She’s been reliable, trustworthy, and a great sitter for our puppy. She’s also respected our home. I will continue to have her sit our dog as long as she’s willing, and recommend her highly!

Gabriella took excellent care of our beloved little dog Yeti, whom we truly consider our daughter. It was very hard for us to leave Yeti and to go away without her. Gabriella did a FANTASTIC job of making friends with Yeti and with taking care of her and of our cat Beebo. Both Yeti and Beebo were very happy when we arrived home. Thank you Gabriella!

Sheila watched Wilson for me overnight for a few days while staying at my apartment and did a great job! She was communicative, sent pictures and left my apartment in great shape. I know my dog Wilson had a great time with her. I highly recommend her and hoping to use her again in the future!
