Koko is a smart and gorgeous covid rescue who is still leery of strangers and remains fearful of being given away. Allegra obviously takes pride in doing a great job and we are tickled pink that she kept up our daily routines with Koko. We will definitely request Allegra in the future. About: I used to have two dogs and a cat along with many other random animals. Have always loved pets, just not in a place to have my own at the moment but would love to help others! I work full time, but I am available at night and on the weekends to help out with your furry friends! We can work together to find a schedule that works for both of us. I live in a one bedroom apartment in a managed building. It is a very pet friendly building and has a fenced in area for dogs. We also have a grooming station.

About: I have been in the caring business since my teenage years - babysitting my younger siblings, caring for my family dog, running a summer enrichment program for at risk youth, caring for horses at a dude ranch and a western suburbs farm, minding many friends' dogs, and wrangling my own two senior dogs - brother and sister, now 14 years old. (But, so rambunctious for their first 10+ years). I love dogs and will care for your dog just as you would. One of my dogs is now blind and the other requires daily subcutaneous fluids so I am willing and able to help out with any of your pet's special needs as well..... I know how stressful it can be to ensure a routine is kept. Pet first aid and CPR certified. I am currently on a full time job hunt in marketing analytics and very available (with notice) to care for your dogs most days and evenings as I can search and do freelance work remotely. Depending on your dog's needs I can usually provide bathroom breaks every 4 hours in between errands, etc. My calendar will be updated to show days I plan to be away. At this time, I can care for pets in my client's home. I do need to bring my dogs for the overnight portion of the stay but will keep them separate in a room/space of your choosing during the evening (and on bedroom floor at night). They are very dog friendly just very sleepy and do well snoozing someplace quiet.

About: Treat Others the Way You Would Like To Be Treated, and that includes animals. I have always been an animal lover since I was a child. Spending my time helping out in animal shelters every opportunity I had, watching over and caring for the dogs, cats, rodents and reptiles of my friends, my friends families, my family and my own animals. I’ve walked, house sat and fostered many animals. I am a firm believer that animals are incredibly intelligent and if you give respect, you receive respect. I work in Dog Hiking. I work with a variety of breeds and personalities. I am also volunteering under a recovery dog training organization where I’m learning a variety of dog training skills. My availability has recently opened up. I am in a position to go forward with the next steps in my life and begin building connections in a new area. I work certain hours a week and now will be scheduling my outside commitments based on whatever dog walking and sitting routine I create. Every pet is different and has different needs. I personally create a schedule for each animal starting with their name, timing how to meet their own personal needs, whether it’s exercise, socializing, eating habits, medications etc. I show up on time and I am there for them, that is how I do my job because I care.

About: Hi, I'm D'Mitri - bookish plant dad and Legal Analyst seeking to foray into pet care as a fun and enriching side gig. I'm originally from New Mexico, where I grew up on four acres with a horse and three dogs. Since then, I have pet sat occasionally for friends and family but would love for it to be a larger part of my life. My partner adopted a sweet Cur, Auggie, (40lb) last summer who lives with us FT. He is mild-mannered, adores other dogs and receives regular socialization at both daycare 2x/wk and daily at the on-site fenced dog park and many green spaces on the premises. My preference is for small to medium sized dogs but do have the stature and experience to manage larger breeds as well. All ages welcome! We live in Dorchester (Columbia Point) with my boyfriend of nine years in a complex along on the Harbor Walk. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. I look forward to hearing from you! I WFH and the nature is my work is largely project-based, which affords me a lot of flexibility. On the average day, I wake at 6 and am in bed by 10:30. My partner and I live in a standard 1BR but our apartment complex is unique for the abundance of green space it offers - and even a dog park. Just right outside our front door is a huge lawn where others can often be spotted exercising their pets. I am also open to caring for your pets in the comfort of your own home! About: I have been around dogs and other pets my whole life! I grew up with Rottweilers and my family currently has Bernese mountain dogs and boxers so I understand the energy that fuels these big babies. I have experience with cats along with other animals ranging from farm to reptile. I have changed dog diapers, administered medications, and have provided care from puppy to senior. My current life does not allow for a dog and I just have so much puppy love to give! I’m a teacher on summer break who also does not have much of a social life. I am very flexible currently and can fit with your schedule! I’m comfortable with what you are comfortable with! I have administered meds, changed dog diapers, and understand the importance of a watchful eye (my family dog will eat poop if she could).
