“Volkan took great care of our anxious senior pup. He shared updates and photos that put us at ease while we were away. And he left our house cleaner than it was when he arrived!”

“Sydney is a fantastic dog sitter! She was responsive and responsible with caring for our dog and our home! We give her our highest recommendation and would absolutely hire her again!”

“Lani was great. She was responsive, responsible and reliable. She came when she said she would, took care of the pups attentively and kept me posted. I felt comfortable that my dogs were in good hands.”

About: Hi! I’m Rose, a reliable and caring animal lover based in the Quincy area. I have 4 cats of my own, so I’m very comfortable with daily pet care routines and giving animals lots of attention and love. We also had a 15-year-old Shih Tzu who passed away in 2022 and over the past year I’ve been walking and caring for dogs for rover clients. I am currently taking the year off from teaching so my schedule is very flexible throughout the week! I’m available for morning, midday, and evening walks, and can be accommodating with last-minute requests when needed. I will be actively engaging with your fur baby! I love taking them on walks and to parks depending on their needs! I will make sure to follow your instructions on their feeding schedule to keep a controlled diet
“Mindy was very kind to my cats and kept me updated throughout my trip. She was transparent about her schedule and clearly gave them lots of affection and attention while I was away. The only hiccup was that the Litter-Robot setup was a bit tricky, which caused some issues when I got home. Aside from that, everything else went smoothly, and I really appreciated how much she cared for my kitties.”

“Ali was incredible! On communication before: Ali was attentive, responsive, and responds with urgency. It was easy to connect and have him come over to meet Stevie (our dog!). Prior to visiting, Ali had us fill out a google form that covered all the "must knows." I really appreciated this because a) it shows the professionalism and b) excellence is in the details! The more Ali knows about Stevie, the better care he can provide. During the visit to the house Ali noted: -Stevie's favorite treats -Toys -Spots to lounge around the apartment -Favorite activities -Neighborhood spots On communication during: Ali was sending daily updates and tons of pictures; this gave us peace of mind! Ali took Stevie to his favorite spots, recorded fetch videos, got a bunch of pictures, and the best part, Stevie was always smiling. Thank you Ali!”

“Lauren house sat for us over a long weekend, taking excellent care of our dog and cat while we were gone. She was an excellent communicator, giving us multiple updates and pictures throughout the day, and we would definitely book with her again!”

“My little guy will be 16 in May and just got out of the pet hospital so he needed some very tender care. I was very impressed with Sher. She was very gentle with him while cleaning him, takimg him potty, and giving him meds. Tater has been steadily improving every day and Sher played a big part on helping! Will definitely book again!!”

“Adison is the best cat sitter we had. She is so communicative, punctual, and detail-oriented. She really understands and loves cats, and I never felt so at ease leaving my cats to someone. She took such good care of the house too, and went above and beyond our instructions. Can’t say enough good things about her!”

Fort Andrews pet parents share their Rover experiences
Christina stayed with our three busy dogs for a long weekend; she gave regular updates and followed all of their weird medication, supplement, and feed protocols without a hitch. She was super flexible when our travel plans coming home were uncertain, and left our house spotless. We look forward to having her again!

Christina was kind and took good care of our home. She followed our pup’s feeding and walking instructions and kept in touch and sent photos during stay, which we appreciated! That said, we did have issues was with timing and communication. After reviewing our Ring camera after the trip, we saw that she arrived almost over an hour late for the first visit, left the pets for over 7 hours on the one full day of house sitting (though we had asked for no more than 5–6 hours max). She left at 10:38am and didn’t return until I reached out at 6pm. Additionally, left for the night at 8pm even though we had requested a final let-out after 9pm if she wasn’t staying overnight. We understand that unexpected things can come up and cause delays, but we would have appreciated transparency if that was the case, rather than only finding out through our Ring camera or after prompting with a check-in. Since this was a house sitting booking, we had expected more consistent, regular care rather than drop-in style visits. We’re grateful for her help, but in the future we’ll be looking for someone with more reliable timing and clearer communication.
Great experience with Micah! Tons of updates and pictures. She took my active pup on lots of walks including some really long ones to tire him out! All instructions were followed and the house was in perfect shape when we got back. We’ve been using Rover for 5+ years and this was the best overnight experience we’ve had so far. Highly recommend.
