Keep your pet entertained if that is what they prefer. For the dogs that I have sat, and are not as active, I make sure that they have the space that they need and attentive enough to understand when there needs change.

I live by Piers Park in Jeffries Point, East Boston, and I’m always happy to connect with fellow pet parents nearby. 🏡 House Sitting Arrival: Since my new roommate has pet allergies, I now only offer house sitting in and around Boston. I’ve been doing this for quite some time and have looked after pets in over 50 homes, so you can rest easy knowing your home and pet are in experienced hands. I’m very comfortable navigating different home setups, appliances, and TVs, so there’s no need for a full tour. That said, I’m always happy to meet in person beforehand and get to know you and your furry friend. If you’re not home when I arrive, clients typically leave me access through a door code, keybox, or occasionally under the mat, whichever you prefer. --- During My Stay: Before your trip, I’ll ask about your pet’s routine, preferences, and any medications they may need. You can share this information however you prefer. Some pet parents send a short message, others leave a note or a printed document. As long as I have what I need to keep your pet happy and comfortable, I’m all set. Because I work remotely, your pet will have company most of the day and receive plenty of attention (and pets 🐶🐱). I’ll happily send updates and photos as often as you’d like, whether once a day, twice a day, or not at all if you’d rather fully disconnect while on vacation. I adjust to your comfort level. --- Departure: Most clients ask me to leave a few hours before they return. Before heading out, I make sure you’ll find your home just as you left it. - Bedding stripped and tidied - Dishes washed and put away - Everything cleaned up after use If requested, I can also water plants, collect mail and packages, and leave them neatly on your table. After leaving, I’ll send a quick message with photos (of the rooms I used) and a short summary of how the stay went, so you’re fully updated and reassured. 🐕 Final Note At the end of the day, my main goal is to keep your pet happy and minimize any separation anxiety they might feel during the first day. Over time, I’ve found that most of my repeat clients continue hiring me for one simple reason: their pets genuinely bond with me and feel comfortable in my care. About: I currently have a lot of availability! I have grown up with dogs of my entire life, ranging from a mellow bichon frise to an energetic, mischievous husky! I have lots of experience is walking, feeding and just spending time with dogs. I am currently a studying online to get my masters in nutrition and integrative health, which gives me a lot of flexibility with scheduling and spending time with your pet! About: I run a music teaching business as well as am a commercial pilot and flight instructor. I grew up with dogs my whole life (all golden retrievers) and I do a lot of pet sitting on the side for student's families. One of my own students told me about this app, so I figured it would be an awesome tool to earn extra cash to offset the cost of living, while getting to spend time with my favorite four-legged friends :) During the stay I will be using your home as “home base” and will be in and out of your house periodically during the day to care for my other drop-ins/walking clients, but the majority of my time will be dedicated to your fur family. I prefer clients with fenced-in yards or invisible fences for everyone’s safety, and one daily walk is included with every booking!
