“Zwany is absolutely amazing! She’s incredibly accommodating and understands what a pet parent needs to feel comfortable leaving their baby with her and her family. I did a one night trial before a longer sit later this year to make sure both Tilly and Zwany would be comfortable with each other. Tilly had a great time and fit right in. Zwany asked all the right questions before the stay to make sure it would be successful and demonstrated that she was ready for any of tillys quirks that may pop up during her visit. I got a detailed review at pick up and I could tell Tilly was happy to be there! Zwany was so knowledgeable and caring. Can’t wait for Tilly to go back!”

“Zach did a great job taking care of our puppy and keeping us updated with photos. Our dog is anxious and deals with separation anxiety but he didn't want to leave when we picked him up. Thanks Zach!”

“We could not have asked for a better person to care for Cooper while we were away! Theresa was thoughtful, caring, engaged, and went above and beyond to reassure us that Cooper was happy and healthy while staying with her. We would most certainly book with her again!”

“This was our second time working with Jess, and Duke was happy as can be. We loved the photos of Duke interacting with the other dogs and having a great time. Won't hesitate to have Jess watch Duke again.”

“Carolina is awesome. Kaci loves to visit and enjoys spending time with the other dogs. They keep me updated with photos and take him on good walks. I love that she offers pick up and drop and is always on time. As a busy person it is good to have a sitter you trust.”

“Logan and her dog Gus were wonderful with my golden. Logan has a natural confidence and calm presence that the dogs respond to immediately — they listen to her and clearly feel comfortable around her. She handled everything with ease and professionalism. I felt completely at ease knowing my dog was in such capable hands. Highly recommend!”

“Tianyue was great. she was very flexible at dropping off and picking up time. she gave me a daily summary of sansa’s activities. she also sent me a lot of pictures and video. i highly recommend her. i would use her service again.”

“Angela, Paul, and Ana took amazing care of Beau! They sent lots of updates and photos of his time with them -- and it was wonderful seeing how well he was doing and knowing he was getting tons of attention while we were away! They went above and beyond, and we know Beau will definitely want to go back with them again!”

“Kerrin and Chris were amazing with our dog Lizzie—she had an absolute blast staying with them. They sent daily pictures, which gave us total peace of mind, and it was clear she was being cared for like part of their own family. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!”

About: I’m a lifelong dog owner with hands-on experience caring for a wide range of breeds, from energetic puppies to quirky seniors. I work from home, so I’m able to offer tons of attention, exercise, and consistency throughout the day. Having lived with everything from labs to Pyrenees mixes, I understand the importance of meeting each dog’s unique needs, whether that’s structured walks, gentle senior care, or patient socialization for shy pups. I’m comfortable with big dogs and independent personalities, and my own experience training puppies and supporting older dogs means your pup is in caring, knowledgeable hands. What sets me apart is my lifelong experience caring for a variety of breeds—including puppies and seniors—and my work-from-home flexibility means dogs get real companionship and attention all day. I understand big, independent, and quirky personalities, and I prioritize individualized care, from puppy training to gentle support for older dogs. I take the time to get to know every dog, building trust through patience, routine, and play. Pet care is a natural part of my daily life, not an afterthought. Since I work from home, I’m able to integrate walks, playtime, and check-ins throughout the day—whether it’s a morning stroll, afternoon games in the park, or relaxed evenings together. My routine is flexible, so dogs always get outside for fresh air and exercise and receive plenty of attention between my work sessions. On weekends, I love exploring new neighborhoods, local parks, or heading to the beach—always bringing dogs along for new adventures. Whether it’s active pups needing stimulation or seniors who prefer a calm presence, I adapt my days to make sure every dog feels comfortable, safe, and part of my everyday world. When caring for pets in my home, I make sure they’re comfortable, safe, and integrated into my daily routine—regular walks to nearby parks or the beach, supervised playtime, and cozy rest spots throughout my home. I keep to each dog’s familiar schedule as much as possible, including feeding times, exercise, and any training or medication routines. In a client’s home, I respect their space and routines, making sure pets feel secure in their own environment. I follow all instructions closely, from special diet needs to unique quirks or favorite toys, and keep in touch with updates and photos so owners know their pets are happy and cared for. Most importantly, I treat every dog like they’re my own—with patience, structure, and genuine affection—whether they’re here for a day, a weekend, or longer.

About: I am a very proud cat mom myself. My orange tabby(Prince Harry) is 5 years old and the light of my life. Harry has been with me since he was 8 weeks old so I have experience in all cat stages. I know how crucial it is to have someone who will treat your babies as their own. Before getting Harry I also had cat sat for many family members, friends, neighbors, and associates.
“Volkan was terrific. Very approachable and good at communicating. Our cat clearly bonded with him. He sent some nice pics. He took great care of our house. He even helped us with a non-pet related issue when my son left his passport at the house and needed it quickly to go on an overseas flight. Would love to have him take care of our pets again.”

“Ayana was so patient and kind with our old moody cat. We got regular updates and photos and felt at peace being away from her for a week (which is a feat). Ayana will be our first call next time we are leaving town!”
“Sher was great—she communicated very well, asked detailed questions to make sure she understood our instructions, and really connected with our cat, who is often quite shy. She also sent frequent updates and pictures so we could have peace of mind while we were away. We definitely want to work with Sher in the future!”

“Caitlin stepped in on short notice to spend a few hours with our dogs and really helped us out of a bind. As always, we can relax knowing our dogs are in such great hands when being cared for by Caitlin.”

About: I have 2 cats at my family home. Both mainecoon who are very high maintenance. I’ve cleaned kitty litter for years and have a routine when it comes to combing them and keeping their fur soft. One of my cats had to be given medicine when she was a kitten (orally) so I do have experience with that.

“Raul has stayed with our cat, Flopsi, twice now. I can happily say my cat and I were comforted by the care and attention Raul showed him over both visits. Raul has a gentle, calm nature that helps put even a nervous boy like my Flops at ease. Raul also took great care of our home, keeping it clean and tidy. We’re so happy we found such a reliable, responsible sitter for Flops. We already plan to have Raul back for a longer stay during an upcoming trip.”

About: I’ve had dogs in my home for the past 21 years, namely an array of bully breeds both large and small. When I moved abroad in 2023, my English bulldog moved in with my family and I’ve been eager to welcome all of my friends’ dogs into my life and home ever since. I’m often dog-sitting for friends across New England and thought now is as good of a time as any to offer the same support to others! I’m a full-time remote employee with a spacious apartment that happens to have an enclosed deck and located across the street from a sprawling park with dedicated dog areas! I’m a typical millennial woman who is always willing to lend my time and space to some sweet pups. My apartment is dog friendly i.e., they’re welcome in all rooms, on the furniture, and to enjoy the fenced in deck on nice days. I love long walks and therefore long walk companions and maintain a quiet and calm home life.

About: 🐾 About Me Hi there! 🙋♂️ Thank you for considering me. I’ve been on Rover for quite some time now, and I’ve truly loved every minute of meeting new furry friends and spending time with them. I’m a freelance web developer, which means I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for your pets. I grew up with a loving golden retriever and an Angora cat. With a mix of personal experience, professional reliability, and a genuine love for animals, I always treat every pet as my own, giving them attention, affection, and care tailored to their needs. I live by Piers Park in Jeffries Point, East Boston, and I’m always happy to connect with fellow pet parents nearby. 🏡 House Sitting Arrival: Since my new roommate has pet allergies, I now only offer house sitting in and around Boston. I’ve been doing this for quite some time and have looked after pets in over 50 homes, so you can rest easy knowing your home and pet are in experienced hands. I’m very comfortable navigating different home setups, appliances, and TVs, so there’s no need for a full tour. That said, I’m always happy to meet in person beforehand and get to know you and your furry friend. If you’re not home when I arrive, clients typically leave me access through a door code, keybox, or occasionally under the mat, whichever you prefer. --- During My Stay: Before your trip, I’ll ask about your pet’s routine, preferences, and any medications they may need. You can share this information however you prefer. Some pet parents send a short message, others leave a note or a printed document. As long as I have what I need to keep your pet happy and comfortable, I’m all set. Because I work remotely, your pet will have company most of the day and receive plenty of attention (and pets 🐶🐱). I’ll happily send updates and photos as often as you’d like, whether once a day, twice a day, or not at all if you’d rather fully disconnect while on vacation. I adjust to your comfort level. --- Departure: Most clients ask me to leave a few hours before they return. Before heading out, I make sure you’ll find your home just as you left it. - Bedding stripped and tidied - Dishes washed and put away - Everything cleaned up after use If requested, I can also water plants, collect mail and packages, and leave them neatly on your table. After leaving, I’ll send a quick message with photos (of the rooms I used) and a short summary of how the stay went, so you’re fully updated and reassured. 🐕 Final Note At the end of the day, my main goal is to keep your pet happy and minimize any separation anxiety they might feel during the first day. Over time, I’ve found that most of my repeat clients continue hiring me for one simple reason: their pets genuinely bond with me and feel comfortable in my care. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members. Thank you again for taking the time to read my profile, and I hope to care for your pet soon. Have a wonderful day! 🌿 When I stay in a client’s home, I follow their pet’s regular routine as closely as possible so everything feels familiar and comforting. I take time to understand their daily schedule, from feeding and walks to playtime and bedtime, and make sure their environment feels calm, safe, and full of positive attentionSince I work remotely, I’m around most of the day, which means your pet will have steady company, lots of affection, and a peaceful home atmosphere. I always treat your home with care and respect, keeping things clean, organized, and exactly how you left them. I love keeping pets happy, engaged, and mentally stimulated. That might mean a walk through nearby parks, gentle tug or fetch sessions, playtime with their favorite toys, or cozy cuddle breaks during my work hours. For cats, I make sure they have interactive playtime, brushing if they enjoy it, and plenty of affection or space depending on their personality. My goal is always to help your pet feel loved, secure, and relaxed until you return.
About: Animals have always been my greatest passion, and I’ve been surrounded by pets my entire life. I have experience with dogs who have separation anxiety. As well as disabilities such as blind dogs and dogs who can’t walk on their own. I also have experience with terminally ill dogs. My dog was diagnosed with cancer in 2020 & I gave her all the love and attention and care she needed and made her last months comfortable as I could before she crossed the rainbow 🌈 bridge. Rest in peace Princess 👑 I make my own schedule so I have plenty of time to give your fur baby the love, care and attention they need & deserve. If I’m watching your dog then that means I’m with them full time at home so they will get walks and plenty of attention! I have a big living room dedicated to pets that is pet friendly with multiple beds, blankets, food bowls, water & plenty of TOYS! With plenty of space to play. I have a big fenced backyard for exercise. The fenced in back yard is perfect especially for those hot summer days so your fur babies paws don’t get too hot. I’m also a personal trainer so I love to go on walks/runs with dogs who have a lot of energy. But I also like to relax at home and take naps so that works for dogs who have low energy.
About: I’ve loved and cared for dogs since I was 10 years old. I’m now a proud dog mom to a playful 1-year-old pup! I have hands-on experience with crate training, potty pad training, and teaching basic commands. I’ve cared for puppies as young as 6 weeks and senior dogs with physical limitations, always tailoring my care to their needs. Whether your pup is full of energy or needs extra patience and gentle handling, I’ll treat them like family. I’m fortunate enough to have a full time remote position that allows me the time to love and care for both your pup and mine with ease! I’m available daily 7am-6 pm with the exception of a few routine 30 minute meetings. I’ll gladly work around your schedule to ensure you and your pups needs are met! I live in an apartment with a fully fenced dog area that is vacant during the day and evening. I have a year old puppy that is extremely loving and playful with other humans and fur babies! I have a pen within my home to crate when needed, as well as lots of toys and time to play outside. I own a car and I’m able to come to you to care for your pet in your home if that’s your preference. My car and apartment are dog safe.
About: Personally, I don’t own a dog, but furry friends are my favorite! I have been walking dogs for my friend for a year, and I was working in a dog-friend office. If there’s anything that you want me to learn for your baby, my ears are all yours! I’m currently in nursing school, my schedule varies from week to week. I’m responsible and patient when it comes to pet care. I love outdoor adventures and I would love to have a furry companion. Pet’s safety and happiness is my number one priority, I’ll do anything to prevent them from toxins inside/outside the house. I’ll inspect potential hazards around the furry babies and remove the hazards upon finding.
About: Hello, my name is Sean and I recently moved home from Florida to Boston after graduating from USF in Tampa. I’m currently in a grad program at Emerson. I have my own furry friend in a black and tan coonhound-beagle mix named Rio but I love animals of all kind! My classes are later in the evening so my schedule is very open. Just send me a message! I have a very flexible schedule and can easily acommodate! :) I would be happy to play and take care of your pets anytime! I love going on walks and to dog parks or just playing tug-of-war at home!
About: Hello friends! My name is Taylor and I am 32 years old. I don’t currently have pets of my own, so I’m lucky enough to fill that space by caring for a wide variety of other people’s pets and giving them my full attention. With six years of experience pet sitting, I have had the pleasure of caring for dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs, bearded dragons, bunnies, fish, and chickens. I also spent 5 years in the Plymouth County 4-H program, where I trained, groomed, showed, and cared for dogs throughout Massachusetts. That experience taught me how to read animal behavior and follow structured routines. I understand that every pet has a unique personality, and I genuinely enjoy taking the time to learn what makes them happy. While your pet is in my care, you can expect regular updates along with photos/videos. My goal is to make both you and your pet feel completely at ease while you’re away. I work full-time as a 911 operator. This schedule includes weeknight shifts from 4pm-12am, excluding Fridays. Because of this, I usually suggest that your animal is accustomed to time apart or there’s someone who’s available to check in while I’m working. I care for pets in their own homes whenever possible to keep them comfortable in a familiar environment. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, playtime, and any special instructions provided by the owner.
About: I’m a strong believer that all dogs deserve to be loved regardless their age, size, or breed. I have been volunteer fostering rescue dogs in my place until their find their forever home for non-profit organizations. I have gone through many trainings to gain knowledge to ensure our pets are happy, healthy, and well-socialized. I personally like to train dogs whenever I have time and utilize interactive toys to strengthen their mental faculties. I am currently working from home from Monday to Friday. So I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I am available for boarding both weekdays and weekends. I live in a two-floor townhouse with lot of indoor spaces and yard. 5 mins walking distance to a fenced dog park. My 1-year-old pup is neutered, and crate trained. He is a sweet couch potato and likes to cuddle. I can separate two dogs if needed.

About: I love exploring and learning. There is so much to see and not nearly enough time. Because I love traveling I dont have a dog of my own currently. I do have a cat that stays home with my family while traveling. Animals are a great responsibility and I will take great care of your fur baby and home. I believe in leaving places better than I found them. I am a teacher by trade. I recently finished grad school in the spring. I love to cook and bake from scratch. Spending time outdoors is very grounding for me whether I am swimming in the ocean or hiking. I do not offer care in my home. I am happy to treat yours with the utmost care and respect. I aim to leave your home better than I found it.

It was clear from the photos and messages that she was having a great time. I could tell she was happy, relaxed, and well cared for. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Highly recommend!”

“Atticia took great care of our puppy. We were hesitant to leave him with anyone because he'd just joined our family a few weeks prior and is already spoiled rotten. But she treated him like part of her family and reinforced the routine we've developed. She kept us updated with his daily progress and activities and we were at ease and able to enjoy our time away.”

“Daniel and his dog Annie were a wonderful match for our dog, Tegan. He even arranged a meet-up beforehand so the dogs could get to know each other, which gave us peace of mind. During Tegan’s stay, Daniel sent daily updates and photos, which we really appreciated. Tegan usually takes a day or two to settle in and start eating when she’s in a new environment, but with Daniel and Annie she felt right at home from the start. We’ll definitely ask Daniel to watch Tegan again in the future!”
