About: I’ve been a dog owner for the last seven years. For the last two years, my fiancé and I have had three dogs: A pug, a Shih-poo, and a beagle. Our puggy and beagle recently passed. I have experience with senior dogs, administering medication, and some puppy training. I also have experience bathing animals. I’m generous with the treats and even more generous with the snuggles! I work from 9-5 M-F but am remote on Mondays, Fridays and alternating Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I can do drop in visits for walks any time during weekends and in the evenings and occasional afternoons during the week. We have a fenced in yard at our home, but our babies also get walks. With me, your pet will come first and always be treated like one of my own.

About: I grew up in the country side in Michigan, where we had all sorts of animals, from goats and chickens, to cats and dogs. I always had a minimum of four dogs around me at all times, with all sorts of different breeds, from cane corse mastiffs to dachshunds and everything in between. I have come to learn how to handle dogs of different temperaments that live together, and how to help ensure different kinds of animal are being cared for at the same level all at oncs Currently I have a maremma sheepdog that I’ve worked with extensively in ensuring he is properly trained, and as he has grown older, he has had a couple health conditions that require him to take a couple pills, so I am well versed in ensuring an animal takes their medications. My partner and I also have two cats together that we have worked with on training in a variety of different ways. I work a touring life with bands, so while there are stretches of time where I am unavailable, I pride myself on being a reliable and responsible animal lover. Where I work with my partner (who is also on rover)in the care of our animals at home. Prior to any alone time with pets, we will schedule a meet and greet, to help ensure that I can be a good fit for your pet! Melisa is an outstanding house sitter as well as cat sitter. This time, Melisa sat for us for a week in July. She was responsible for taking care of our cat, our pool and our plants (indoor and outdoor). Of course everything was well taken care of. The additional thing that I really like about Melisa is that, besides being highly responsible, she is a warm person. It is important that the kitty likes her, but we do too! We have used her before and plan to do so again.
Manal was fantastic!! I have never left my guy with someone who wasn't a family member, but she cat-sat for an entire week and I could not have felt more at ease. She was always in touch, sent me tons of pictures, and kept me updated so that I always felt like I knew what my cat was up to! It felt like she really cared about him and got to know his little personality and all of his quirks, and I could tell from the pictures she sent that he was so happy! I was so stressed leading up to that trip, but all of that immediately disappeared on day one. I can't recommend Manal enough - if you are like me and get nervous leaving your pet with someone else, Manal is your girl! She is gentle, attentive, and caring (all of his care instructions were followed meticulously). Thanks for taking such good care of care of my boy!
