About: I'm a huge animal lover who genuinely enjoys spending time with pets! I have a cat of my own, so I understand the care, patience, and attention pets need each day. Growing up, I had all kinds of pets (cats, dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits, and birds) which gave me experience caring for animals with different personalities and needs. I've also helped care for dogs, and I'd love the opportunity to give your pet plenty of love, playtime, and companionship. Pet care fits naturally into my routine since I work part-time and have flexibility throughout the week with gaps in my schedule. Because of my flexible schedule, I'm also often able to accommodate short-notice requests for added convenience whenever possible. This allows me to be available for walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and giving pets the attention they need rather than feeling rushed. Spending time with animals is something I enjoy, so pet care feels like a rewarding part of my week. I always aim to care for pets in a way that keeps them comfortable, safe, and as close to their normal routine as possible. In a client's home, I follow their pet's usual schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), litter box or cleanup care, and plenty of attention and companionship to help them feel at ease while their owner is away.

I work from home, which allows me to provide consistent supervision, attention, and care throughout the day, not just quick check ins. My goal is always to create a calm, safe, and loving environment where your dog feels comfortable and at ease. Your dog will be staying in a true family home. We have a fenced in dog run for safe outdoor time. Four friendly resident dogs (2 small JRTs, 2 Labradors) who are well socialized and three dog loving kids (16, 8, 6) who understand how to respectfully interact with animals. Because of this, your dog will have a great mix of structure, play, and companionship, but I’m also very mindful of individual needs. If your dog prefers space, a slower introduction, or a quieter environment, I can absolutely accommodate that.

About: Hi! I've been around animals my whole life, and caring for pets is truly second nature to me. I've owned and loved both dogs and cats since I was a kid, and that lifelong experience shows in how I care for every animal I meet. What really sets me apart is my background in pet care and dog training. I graduated from Norfolk County Agricultural High School, where I took many animal science courses. I took classes in canine behavior, pet shop management, and animal science. I learned how to handle, groom, and care for dogs of all breeds, through hands-on experiences. I bring patience, knowledge, and lots of love to every pet I care for. I am college student spending the rest of my summer from July 8 until August 22 at home. This means I have plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I’m already helping my family take care of our own dog, so adding more pets to my routine fits in perfectly! I am available Monday through Friday and am very flexible throughout the day, so I can easily accommodate different schedules and needs. Whether I am caring for pets in my home or in a client’s, their safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I stay in tune with how they are feeling, making sure they’re well-fed, clean, healthy, and getting plenty of rest and outdoor time. At home, I provide a pet-friendly environment. I’m also lucky to live next to a reservation with trails, open fields, and ponds and streams perfect for dogs who love to explore nature. Joanna took excellent care of our two dogs for a week while we were out of town. They settled right in with her, even our skittish newly adopted puppy, and she did a great job keeping us up to date with daily photos, notes, etc. I would highly recommend Joanna to anyone looking for someone to take care of their fur babies!
Chloe did an absolutely amazing job taking care of our two dogs (Nala, a one year old golden retriever and Maui, an almost six year old, lab mix) while we were away. From the start, she was reliable, communicative, and clearly experienced with handling pets. She kept us updated with messages and photos, which gave us real peace of mind knowing our dogs were happy and well cared for. One thing that really stood out was how quickly our dog Maui—who is usually very picky about people—gravitated toward her right away. That alone spoke volumes about Chloe’s calm, trustworthy presence and natural connection with animals. It’s obvious that Chloe genuinely cares about the animals she looks after, and she treated ours like her own.
