As a lifelong pet owner, animal lover and proud rescue dog mom, I know that every dog has their own unique personality, routine, and needs. I raised my two rescue Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull mixes from the shelter, giving me hands-on experience with training, structure, and positive reinforcement. Whether your pup is energetic and playful or prefers a slower pace, I adapt my care to match both their personality and the routine you’ve established, helping them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Your dog’s stay will include plenty of one-on-one attention, walks to the nearby park, playtime in my fully fenced backyard, and lots of affection (including couch cuddles if they’re allowed!). I also believe communication is key, so you can expect regular photo and video updates throughout the day for complete peace of mind. My goal is simple: to become someone you can trust wholeheartedly with your best friend. I want you to leave knowing your dog is being cared for with the same love, patience, and attention that you would give them yourself. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. My flexible schedule allows me to provide consistent attention throughout the day, whether that’s morning walks, playtime, feeding, potty breaks, or simply keeping your dog company. I enjoy being active, so regular walks and outdoor time are already part of my day. Whether your pet needs a quick walk, overnight care, or an extended stay, I’ll make sure they receive the time, attention, and care they deserve—not just the basics, but plenty of love and companionship too. In my home, dogs enjoy a calm, pet-free environment with plenty of one-on-one attention, a fully fenced backyard for supervised play, walks to the nearby park, and cozy places to relax. If your dog is allowed on furniture, they’re welcome to cuddle up on the couch with me. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat your space with the same respect I would my own. I’ll keep your home tidy, can provide regular updates with photos and videos, and make sure your dog feels comfortable and cared for while you’re away. About: What makes me different is that caring for animals has been a big part of my life for years. I’m currently in college studying animal care, and I also worked at a zoo for 3 years, so I’ve had hands-on experience caring for and working around animals. I’ve cared for all kinds of pets, including puppies, senior pets, disabled pets, cats, dogs, and reptiles. I’m patient, responsible, and I really take the time to get to know each animal and their individual needs. Since I commute to college and only have one class a week, I’m home a lot and have a pretty flexible schedule. I’m also a dog mommy myself, so I understand how important it is to have someone you trust looking after your pets. 🐾 I’m a full-time college student studying animal care, and since I commute to school and only have one class a week, I’m home a lot of the time. My schedule gives me a lot of flexibility to take care of pets throughout the day, whether that means walks, drop-in visits, playtime, feeding, or just keeping them company. Since I’m studying animal care, I genuinely enjoy spending my time around animals and getting to know their different personalities and needs. I’m able to work pet care into my weekly routine without it feeling like a chore, and I’m happy to follow each pet’s normal schedule and routine while their owners are away. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I always try to keep their normal routine as consistent as possible. I follow their feeding schedule, give them plenty of attention and playtime, and make sure they have a clean, comfortable, and safe space. My home is also a great setup for pets. I have a fenced-in backyard, and I live close to a dog-friendly park and a dog park that’s only about 5 minutes up the road. I’m also near emergency animal hospitals, Petco, and Legacy Place, so there are plenty of pet-friendly places and resources nearby if needed. I know every pet is different, so I’m happy to adjust to their personality and routine. Whether they’re energetic and love going outside, prefer relaxing at home, or need extra patience and attention, I’ll make sure they’re comfortable and well cared for.

About: I have always loved taking care of animals since I was young- from dogs, cats, chickens, and fish I have always been surrounded by animals. I have a particular interest in animal behavior and training- I always want to ensure animals feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed when they are in my care. Before moving to Boston, I attended Colorado State University seeking my degree in veterinary medicine- the classes I attended focused on animal behavior, animal environment, and specifically handling large animals such as cattle. During my time there, I acquired my IACUC training for animal handling (can provide if needed, however it technically expired last year) and successfully performed medication administration, vaccine/medication injections, bovine castration, proper animal handling, and more. Unfortunately due to a family emergency I could not finish my degree, however I am looking to complete my animal training certification, as I still love working with animals! While I, myself, do not currently have any pets, my roommate has a cat that I help care for- his name is Boog and he's incredibly cute! I currently work part time Saturday-Monday mornings- after 3pm I am completely free! If your pets can be left alone for about 8-9 hours (travel time depending), I can house sit on these days while working. The rest of the week, I spend time on my hobbies and doing research on animal behavior, meaning I will have plenty of time for walks, playtime, cuddles, and whatever else your pet may desire. I like to set up a trial run before any official appointment just to make sure your animal is comfortable with me and vice versa! This gives a great time where your animal has a familiar person (you!) to reassure them that I (a stranger) am no threat, as well as going over care instructions, any medical concerns, and your typical routine for your pet(s).

About: I have my own dog Capo who is a rescue. I love all types of animals. We had many family pets growing up and caring for them always came very naturally to me. I work from home most days and will always try to help out if I can fit it into my schedule. I can be flexible with my time. I live in a house in west Roxbury with a fenced in patio area. About: I have had a dog since I was in diapers! I’ve also trained all my dogs on my own and have very well-behaved dogs. I am truly a dog lover and will take care of your dogs as if they’re my own! I am available most weekends, all day. I cannot do during the week for the most part as I have a full-time job, but there is some flexibility with holidays and such. I will follow any instructions given to me to care for your pet in your home. I have a husky with high anxiety, so unfortunately cannot care for your babies in my own home.

I am flexible, though, depending on the week so let me know your specific needs and I’ll be able to tell you whether I can or not. Generally, I work 9am-5pm. But, my remote days are also just me and a laptop so if you have a table I can set up at, I can stay for longer intervals. I think trust is so important, and with the internet, i’m sure it’s difficult to trust a complete stranger with a very important member of your life. Safety is my utmost priority, and I am very cautious when it comes to caring for pets. I am not careless in leaving things out or not checking the environment before I leave a pet on their own. About: I have been surrounded by animals my entire life, and they have always been one of my major passions. From small animals, to dogs and cats, to chickens, livestock, and horses - I've seen it all! I spent some time as a animal science/pre-vet student before Covid, and worked for a horse breeder/trainer for 3 years where I coordinated daily care for our animals, as well as helped client's with training and lessons while taking a break from university. I have since graduated and been immersed in the world of financial services for the last few years, and work from home along with my father. We both enjoy walking, and live right on the Blue Hills Skyline trail, so can go for a quick loop or 9 mile hike out of our back door. We also have a gated portion of the yard off of the patio, as well as a large front grass field that are all welcome to be taken advantage of by our four-legged friends. We lost our family dog about 2 years ago and enjoy having a furry friend in the house, but are not ready for the heartbreak that eventually comes along with bringing another dog into our family. We would love to host your dog as a part of our family to enjoy our attention, care, and access to great outdoor amenities for a dog that likes to explore, sniff, or go on hikes. Also great for a dog that enjoys having a fenced area. I work from home every day of the week, so I don't have any requirements to be out of the house. I tend to wake up on the earlier side and enjoy going for a walk, as well as a walk around lunchtime and the evening. I am consistent with whatever routine your dog requires, and like to cater towards what makes them the happiest and most at home. Your dog will have nearly 24/7 attention, and I am very glad to provide! We have a number of options in our home depending on your comfortability with your dogs access to the home/garden. We have a fenced area off of the side of the house with an attached mudroom (if dogs prefer to sleep alone, this can be a good option), as well as a large front field and access to the Blue Hills hiking trails. The kitchen is gated, so we tend to spend time in this space with the dog to keep an eye on them. We have a large crate available and are happy to set up your dogs crate if needed. We are happy to allows the dogs on the living room couch, but can keep them off if you prefer them to keep their feet on the floor - we have a large variety of dog beds as well throughout the house. The dogs are welcome in the bed/bedroom depending on your preferences, just let me know where you would like them to stay. There are currently no animals in the home.

About: I’ve been doing freelance sittings and dog walking for about two years now. I’ve always enjoyed caring for canines/felines of all breeds, some even with handicaps or special needs. Once I communicate with a pet’s parent and make sure I fully understand their baby’s tendencies and needs, I use those to create a comforting bond between the pet and I so the parent can remain focused on whatever task has them away from their love, and the pet can have a comfortable wait on their return. Pet care is something I do for free a lot with neighbors pets and my own, all the time. My weekends, and weekday evenings are free. I follow all instructions, and make sure all pets needs are communicated clearly. Attention to detail is especially crucial when caring for dogs with particular needs.
