I like to learn as much as possible about a pet before caring for them so I can provide the best experience. It’s especially helpful to know about their personality, daily routine, energy level, favorite activities, any medical conditions, medications, dietary restrictions, fears, or anxiety triggers, etc! I also appreciate knowing any commands they respond to, how they interact with other people and animals, and what helps them feel most comfortable. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can make your pet feel safe, happy, and cared for.
A typical day
Every pet has a different personality, so I like to tailor activities to what they enjoy most! Some enjoy going for walks, playing fetch, tug-of-war, and others genuinely enjoy spending quality time together indoors. Whatever it is, I’ll make sure pets stay engaged, active, and happy!

I’m Marilyn, a lifelong animal lover and proud dog mom to two pups of my own ♥️ Because my dogs struggle with separation anxiety, I understand how important it is to have someone patient, attentive, and trustworthy caring for your pet while you’re away. I treat every animal as if they were my own and I genuinely believe pets deserve love, attention, and care. Whether they enjoy long walks, playtime, extra cuddles, or simply having a calm and reassuring presence around, I’m happy to follow their routine and your preferences. I work from home most of the time, which gives me flexibility throughout the day and allows me to be responsive and reliable. I’m also happy to provide updates, photos, and plenty of communication so you can have peace of mind while your pet is in my care. My goal is to make sure your furry family member feels safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away 🐾

My dog, Rocco, is a 15 year old terrier who had never been under the care of a dog sitter. I was extremely fortunate that Marilyn was available to attend to his care over the past weekend. Marilyn is a very warm, friendly, compassionate, and deeply caring sitter. My dog gravitated to her immediately. Marilyn provided the most amazing and utmost care of our dog throughout the weekend. I highly recommend her services, and will contact her immediately for all my future dog sitting needs.
Had a great first experience using this dog walker. We did a quick meet/greet before the scheduled walk that went well. Will definitely use for future walks!
