“Our 2 dogs were well taken care of by Jadeth and Noah while we were away. They came on time and sent us pictures with updates on our dogs. That gave us peace of mind as we tend to be worried of leaving them at home by themselves. We really appreciate their care and walks. Our dogs looked happy to see them. We will definitely reach out to them again next time.”

“Nancy was great with my Setter Georgie! Many people say they'll treat your pup like he/she was theirs. Nancy truly does that! She is quick to respond, on time and my Setter loves his walks with her.”

“Allison was great to work with—very easy to communicate with and right on time. She took my boxer out for a full hour walk and brought him back happy and clearly feeling much better after taking care of his business….. twice. Would definitely book with her again! 🐶”
“Jose has been with me since day 3 of bringing my puppy home, and I truly don’t know what I would’ve done without him! As a teacher with a hectic and unpredictable end-of-year schedule, he’s been incredibly accommodating, reliable, and supportive every step of the way. He not only showed up for every walk, but also kept tabs on my pup and offered helpful advice whenever I needed it. Knowing she was in good hands gave me so much peace of mind. I can’t wait to work with him again in the fall. Thank you Jose!”

About: Hi! I’m a warm, caring, professional dog walker looking to add some walks and boarding to my schedule. I absolutely love dogs, and will treat yours as if it were my own with all the love, care and attention they deserve! I am comfortable with puppies, seniors, and even have experience with more reactive pups. I can’t wait to meet you and your dog! I am a professional dog walker with a local company two days a week, but am looking to add more walks and visits to my schedule. When I’m not dog walking, I’m working on building a sustainable swimwear brand from home, so I have lots of flexibility to work around your schedule. I don’t have any pets of my own, so yours will be the center of attention! I live on the second floor of a two family condo building. I don’t have a fenced backyard, but I live right off the Neponset River Trail and there are lots of great walking route and trails in my neighborhood. If your pet is used to sleeping in your room with you at night, I am happy to have them in my room, and can accommodate crated or uncreated dogs. In general I try to keep your pet’s schedule as consistent as possible so they feel comfortable and at home.

“AMAZING. If you need someone reliable and that goes beyond this is your sitter. She picked up my request last minute. Ann-Marie provide detailed reviews. She took out my girl to parks and different locations. I 100% recommended Ann-Marie and I will be rebooking with her when I need someone to watch Kilala.”

“Bonnie has been a wonderful daily dog walker for our Stevie girl! Bonnie is very communicative and is able to be flexible with my fiancé and my unique schedules week to week.”

“Cathrine was amazing. She was on time and stayed extra to make sure our puppy went to the bathroom. She is great with animals and would recommend her to anyone who needs these dog watching or house sitting services.”

“David is awesome with handling puppies, adults and dogs who are more anxious. Our dog gets so excited to see David everytime he comes. David does a great job of tiring them out and giving them opportunities to be social and get play time with other dogs.”

“Mary was so great with our dog! She had good communication, took her on nice walks, and took very cute pictures of her! She definitely went above and beyond to make sure Lonnie was comfortable and feeling okay!”

“Zachary has been great. First experience using rover and a dog walker. He has been great with communication, follows instructions, and most important of all my dog really warmed up to Zachary and they were playing together on our first meet up.”

“Jasmine was great! She was very attentive to Theo and made sure to carry him up and down the stairs to avoid injury, gave him his food and washed his paws after the walk. I highly recommend Jasmine as a dogwalker! I will be requesting another dog walk from her soon.”

“Lauren was so nice and friendly and so good with Cookie. She came thru in a pinch and I am so grateful. Cookie was so happy to see her! I will rebook with Lauren!”

About: I’m a great sitter because animals have always been a part of my life. I’ve had the joy of raising dogs from puppies to adulthood, including a mini-poodle named Mikey, who was a cherished part of our family for 11 years. Currently, I have a 2-year-old cat named Cash and a 1.5-year-old dog named Jax. My care also extends to parakeets, other small birds, hamsters, and fish. Additionally, I have always found myself being a sitter for the pets of my relatives and I am currently fostering 2 cats. I have experience with nursing pets back to health after surgeries. I’m currently working part-time, so I have time to hang with the fur-babies! On weekdays, my afternoons are free, I do not work on Friday and Saturdays, and every night is available for possible boarders, as I am home. When caring for pets I prioritize their health, comfort, and emotional well-being. I ensure they’re well-fed by preparing and cooking their food according to their specific dietary needs. If a pet is unwell, I take the time to nurse them back to health with close attention and gentle care. I am also the person that takes my pets to their vet appointments. I also make sure they feel loved and secure by spending quality time with them—petting, cuddling, and playing—tailored to their personality and preferences. Each pet is treated like family, with patience, compassion, and responsibility at the heart of everything I do.

Autumn is reliable, responsive and easy to work with. I left my dog Fitz with my mother in law for over a week while I was away. Autumn coordinated directly with MIL and was always on time to take Fitz on walks. She’s also great at documenting walks with photos - couldn't ask for better, thanks Autumn!
Leander was very on time and communicative. We have a very high energy pup that can get overwhelmed on walks and he has been extremely patient with her! He has been very receptive and understanding of Mia’s needs and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to wear their pups out while they are at work!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
