“Lauren has been an absolutely amazing dog walker for our 10 month old pup Leo. He is not the easiest on a leash but she is energetic and gives him the same love and attention that we would! We are so glad to have found Lauren - super reliable and communicates so well. Highly recommend!”

“Deb was great! Came over for a meet and greet and was sure to get all the details about my pups. She was reliable and kind and gave me updates during their walk. Highly recommend!”

“Juliette was great! She’s very friendly, responsive, and always on time. She was flexible and patient since my puppy isn’t the biggest fan of walks, making sure to still give her plenty of playtime outside. I really appreciated her communication and the regular updates with pictures. Would definitely recommend!”

About: I have 2 cats and did cats rescue before:) Cat sitted for friends and I did it so well they said that I should start taking orders online so I decided I should try! Let me know what you need for your visit and I’ll do my best! Recently lost my full time job as a designer. Will be happy to come take good care of the cuties when you are away from home:) I always keep my cats really clean:) If you need someone that can cut nails for your cat or wipe their butt I am really good at that
“TLDR: Hiring Tiffany was the best decision I have ever made as a Dog Father!!! Hire her! Tiffany has been a Godsend for Grace! I broke my leg in April I’ve been unable to walk Grace since then. She’s an Aussie Shepard mix so she needs a lot of activity and exercise to keep her mind and body happy, and running around our small back yard was not cutting it. I eventually decided to see if Rover had any good options and thought Tiff’s profile looked good. I had no idea how much that undersold her talent. Tiffany has consistently gone above and beyond for my Grace, and had demonstrated a level of integrity and compassion I have rarely seen in any industry, let alone pet care. Today she noticed Grace was more lethargic than normal and when Grace pooped during the walk it was darker than usual. Tiff immediately called me to voice her concerns. I was at work and had no easy means to get home and bring Grace to a vet as I’m still in a cast and cannot drive. I asked Tiffany if she would consider driving Grace to her vet and I would meet them there. Tiffany not only took Grace immediately, but handled the entire drop off and facilitated contact between myself and the vet. And she wouldn’t even consider discussing compensation until she knew Grace was in safe hands with the vet. Degrees and certifications can be bought but integrity is priceless. There are precious few I would trust with the care of my furbabies but I trust Tiffany implicitly!”

“Zekai walked my 6 month old puppy and he was awesome! Reliable, on time, and very communicative ! He made us feel super comfortable and provided updates before and after the walk. We would absolutely trust him with future bookings !”

About: animals have always been my passion. i have always had animals growing up. i have been responsible for them and training them. i am going to school to be a vet tech, and currently work at a vet clinic as a kennel/daycare attendant. I am currently working part time and have a lot of flexibility in between my schedule! I would be available any times on my free days! I am open to doing check ins, walks, and staying for the day to watch them when needed! I can be very flexible and accommodating with any pet needs!
“Excellent communication from Thomas. My dog warmed up to him from the first minute they met. Thomas has also been super flexible with walk times and communication around arrival times. I’m extremely happy to have linked up with him and can’t recommend him highly enough!”

About: I have a cuddly sweet cat and an energetic mini schnauzer that i love and care for. I find comfort from animals because they are some of the best friends a human can have. I'm home full time with a flexible schedule, so I'm available to tend to your pet needs without interference and my availability is always up to date. Lots of positive reinforcement and treats for good behavior, providing them with engaging playtime, walks, pets, and cuddles as needed to build a rewarding relationship with them
About: I have experience taking care of many different dogs and pets, including birds, fish, and guinea pigs. I had my own dog for thirteen years and then helped my dad with his puppy. For one family I nannied for I would take care of the blind and partially deaf dog that they owned. I would take him for walks, out side play time, quick drop-ins, and take him for car rides to do hiking trails. I would also bathe, feed, and give medication if needed. I would also stay with the dog while the family would go away for vacations. I have taken mine and friend’s dogs to the local dog parks. I do work Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm, so I can let dogs out before and after work. I do work full time Monday to Friday 8-6 so I can care for animals before and after work on the week days and I am fully available on weekends. When animal sitting at clients homes I will spend as much time outside with the pets for fresh air and exercise. I give them their meals on schedule along with any medications they may need.

Leander was very on time and communicative. We have a very high energy pup that can get overwhelmed on walks and he has been extremely patient with her! He has been very receptive and understanding of Mia’s needs and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to wear their pups out while they are at work!

Trisha is incredibly reliable, responsible and organized! We love trusting her with our dog! She’s wonderful all around and her reports are timely and detailed. Extremely happy with her service. We’ve booked her twice so far and very pleased with her professionalism.

Daniel has been walking Toby three days a week for almost a month now and it’s been a great fit. He is always on time, very reliable and great with Toby. I was a bit nervous to start this but Daniel has eased my nerves with great photos and little comments after each walk.

Despite my booking Sam on short notice for a week of walking my dog she made time to come over a few days ahead for a meet and greet. Sam was always prompt, professional and provided great updates and pics each day. My pup was thrilled to have her time and attention. She was even kind and thoughtful enough to bring in a package from my porch one of the days. Highly recommend and will use again.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
