About: Hi we are Ken & Chloe! I (Ken) have been in love with dogs for as long as I can remember! I grew up with a toy poodle in my childhood home and dog sat for many of my friends’ dogs during and after college. My wife (Chloe) is also a fierce dog lover, and we both like to take any opportunity to meet with those furry friends! 🥰 We will gladly send you picture and video updates of your sweet puppy! We also are happy to play with them using their favorite toys and don’t mind spending extra time for snuggle sessions! 🐶 Feel free to reach out anytime. We are quick responders to all forms of communication. Can’t wait to meet you and your fur babies ❤️ ———————————————————— < Schedule > We will walk your dog 3-4 times a day. Chloe is currently on summer break, so she will be home most weekdays and can give your dog plenty of attention! * We ONLY take one dog at a time unless you book multiple dogs under the same owner. * We ONLY take a dog that can be left alone for a few hours. * We have a pet camera in the living room so we can watch the dog when we are not at home.
“Lauren has been an absolutely amazing dog walker for our 10 month old pup Leo. He is not the easiest on a leash but she is energetic and gives him the same love and attention that we would! We are so glad to have found Lauren - super reliable and communicates so well. Highly recommend!”

“Cathrine was amazing. She was on time and stayed extra to make sure our puppy went to the bathroom. She is great with animals and would recommend her to anyone who needs these dog watching or house sitting services.”

About: I have loved animals since I was a young child. My family always had pets when I was growing up; ranging from parakeets and cockatiels, to betta fish, to dogs and cats. I currently have a great, fearless, and very treat-driven cat named Julio, whom I care for with my partner. I have a lot of experience caring for dogs and cats, including my mom's dog and cat when I visit during the holidays and whenever she has had to travel to visit family. I'm currently writing my PhD Dissertation so I oftentimes want to take a break and relax, which I can do by checking in on your pets. Other than feeding and playing with my cat, Julio, there are other times in the afternoon and evening when I can make sure to spend time feeding and taking care of your pets. I have a good understanding of both dog and cat body language and can give them their space, if needed. I am also able to follow instructions such as pet-specific diets, oral medication administration, etc.
About: Hi! I'm Kristen, a historical archaeology student at UMass Boston! Animals, history, and creative activities are my life. I have grown up with animals in my house my entire life- from rescue dogs, to cats, to hedgehogs, birds and rabbits, there are very few animals that I haven't gotten to play with. I would love to help you give your fur baby the best life possible by making sure they get the exercise they need, they get to socialize, and let them explore the environment around them. I have experience with dogs of all shapes and sizes- from Pugs to Newfoundlands, so I'm no stranger to large dogs and what they might need, and how that would differ from a smaller dog. I'd love to help you be the best owner you can be! I also have experience with multiple different livestock animals, from chicken and geese to donkeys. My goal is to own my own rescue farm one day, so special circumstance animals are something I am very comfortable doing. I prefer to spend time with your pets as much as possible, to help give them the socialization they need so they aren't left alone while they wait for their favorite people to come back :) I focus on making sure to keep into their set schedule as much as possible. Have a set time your fluffy friend needs to eat that never changes? Does your pet need to take multiple walks a day? My schedule is very flexible and it is my priority to keep their lives as unchanged as possible. I keep pets as normal in their routine as possible so they don't feel out of sorts until their people come home! I am more than comfortable dealing with crated, uncrated, specific behaviors of pets, and more. I make sure that their food and water intake is exactly how you specify, and that they get plenty of love and exercise.

“Deb is great with my dogs! She’s extremely friendly, diligent with instructions, and communicative. My pups felt comfortable with her right away, we will definitely be using Deb’s services again!”

About: I’ve had family dogs to love and care for, and done jobs dog walking for a while now. I’ve looked after my teammates dogs whenever they needed me to. Really just love to spend time looking after dogs! I’ve moved to Boston in January to play professional soccer her for Boston Legacy FC. Our days are usually short with me getting home around 2pm on training days. Love going for walks, and a dog would be great company. If necessary, I can leave the dog in a crate when briefly out or let them roam around my room which is spacious and accommodating. I’m located very close to dog parks (one for older dogs, one for small dogs and one for every type) I can bring the dog to run around and play in.

“Jen is amazing- I just can’t say enough. My little man absolutely loves her. She goes above and beyond my expectations and I feel so comfortable knowing my fur baby is in great hands. Thank you Jen! 😊”

Leander was very on time and communicative. We have a very high energy pup that can get overwhelmed on walks and he has been extremely patient with her! He has been very receptive and understanding of Mia’s needs and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to wear their pups out while they are at work!

Trisha is incredibly reliable, responsible and organized! We love trusting her with our dog! She’s wonderful all around and her reports are timely and detailed. Extremely happy with her service. We’ve booked her twice so far and very pleased with her professionalism.

Jenny has been an absolute lifesaver for us and our dog, George. She is incredibly flexible and always willing to accommodate even last-minute requests, which has made our lives so much easier. Her communication is top-notch—she’s always quick to respond and keeps us updated, giving us real peace of mind. Most importantly, Jenny takes amazing care of George and brings a genuine love and compassion for dogs to everything she does. It’s clear she truly cares, and George absolutely loves his time with her. We trust her completely, and it’s such a relief knowing he’s in such good hands. Highly recommend Jenny to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and responsive dog walker!

Daniel has been walking Toby three days a week for almost a month now and it’s been a great fit. He is always on time, very reliable and great with Toby. I was a bit nervous to start this but Daniel has eased my nerves with great photos and little comments after each walk.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
