“Kelly was outstanding! We ran into a technology issue and she was super helpful in providing solutions. She is a great communicator and took such great care of our boys.”

“Catherine was so beyond amazing with my cat, Domino! It was my first time on the owner side of Rover and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Catherine was punctual, responsive, and extremely thorough with each visit. Domino loved playing with her! I’ll definitely use Catherine again and I would highly recommend her for anyone who wants the best for their pets 😊”

“William was great with my cat Fifi! He had great communication, followed the instructions promptly, and took great care of her. We're happy to have found him and will definitely rebook when we go out of town again!”

About: I have grown up with dogs— a collie and a golden retriever, so I love being active with dogs! I have a flexible work schedule, so I can walk during my lunch break! I will watch any type of dog, and will help with training if needed! I Love playing, going for walks, and even giving baths! I can be available when needed, and I am a very flexible person, so i can make sure that you feel your dog is given only the best when you are away! I have a car in the city, so I can definitely travel a bit to get to you if needed, it is no problem for me! I look forward to taking care of your best friend! I am currently working from home, so have a very flexible schedule to accommodate walking your furry friend or just to have some extra play time! I love going for long walks on the esplanade when your pup stays with me, if I am staying in your space I will make sure that the area is clean, your pup has lots of water daily and we can go out on adventures

“Jenny was great! She was really easy to communicate with and my puppy instantly took a liking to her! She's flexible with what I need and very kind so you can certainly trust your fur babies with her”

“Katherine was attentive, communicative and overall very experienced with animals! She sent pictures and followed all our directions. She even went above and beyond by leaving ice cubes in our cats’ water because it was a hot day - such a nice touch. We have a super shy cat who usually doesn’t come out of hiding for strangers but he was out and about with Katherine! Will be hiring her again.”

“Lauren went above and beyond to look out for my dog Gentry, who can be a little crazy at times! She was super responsive, made sure Gentry was comfortable and that he got all his energy out. Thank you Lauren for your time looking out for Gentry!”

“Jiaming was awesome. Really great communicator and easy to talk to. We have 1 shy cat that we always worry about but she got along easy with Jiaming! She obviously loves cats and is very knowledgeable!”

“Melissa did some drop ins on our cats over Christmas week and it was a huge relief knowing we didn’t have to worry about them while we were gone. She cleaned the litter boxes, fed both of them, and gave one their daily medication. I would definitely book her again! Thank you Melissa!”

“Lin did an amazing job looking after our two cats while we were away for two weeks. She quickly got our super shy cat to come out of hiding and play with toys. We got great daily photos of the cats. We will definitely have Lin cat sit again.”

“We recently adopted a kitten who needed human socialization. We had Dunks on a good trajectory and Dani did a great job while we were on our trip. She also helped Logan, our older cat, feel like he was still important too! We came home to two incredibly happy cats!”

“Eduarda is an incredible pet sitter. She came to take care of our 6-month old kitten, Cleo, while my sister and I travelled over the holidays. This was our first extended time period away from her after we adopted her, so we were a little nervous. Eduarda came over for a quick meet and greet, and I could tell right away she would get along well with our sweet girl. She took such great care of Cleo, stopping by each day we booked, feeding and playing with her. My sister and I’s favorite parts were the pictures and updates each day. We loved catching a glimpse into their time together. I would highly recommend Eduarda with the care of your pet, and I will definitely be booking with her again in the future!”

“Nina was awesome with our two cats. She was very easy to communicate with. She provided great pictures and left the litter boxes in great condition! Definitely recommend - thanks Nina!”

“Charlotte was great with Finn! They were fast friends :) she was timely, friendly, and took great care of him. Comforting to know I have a reliable dog walker and that Finn is well taken care of (when I’m at work). Thank you so much!!”

“Eva was amazing!! She saved me last minute and was available to help walk my King Charles Spaniel in a pinch when I had a last minute work trip. She went above and beyond and took him to the park, on long walks, he had a ball! Highly recommend!”

“Emily is very detailed oriented and took a lot of notes about our cat ahead of time. Our cat decided to be anti-social but Emily stuck with him and sent repots about him for every visit. Great experience.”

“Natalie is incredible! She not only spends time with my kitties but makes sure they are healthy and happy! She is so helpful with my Socket’s medical needs and makes me feel comfortable knowing they are well cared for while I’m away. Thank you again for another wonderful visit!”

She was absolutely amazing! I booked very last minute and she was accommodating and made everything so easy. She took great care of my cats, was reliable and communicative, and gave me total peace of mind while I was away. I’m so appreciative that she was able to help on such short notice and would absolutely book with her again!

Lacey is the BEST cat sitter! We are happy repeat clients. Our cats are always so happy when we return and Lacey is very communicative and always on time for visits. Our house always looks perfect when we come back, too! We never have to worry at all when she sits for us. I would very highly recommend her!

Leonardo took wonderful care of my two senior cats, including one that requires medication twice a day, while I was gone for the weekend. They were clearly well tended to when I came home. He was very communicative and lovely to work with. I would definitely choose Leonardo again and recommend others to do the same!

This was my first time going away for a week since having my cat, Remy. I was nervous but chose William based on his reviews and many repeat customers. He did not disappoint! By the end of the week he won over my shy cat. I was comforted by his picture updates. He kept Remy fed, her litter box clean and my house clean! When Remy got sick, he cleaned it up. I also noticed he cleaned up the area where Remy eats (she is a messy eater)! Definitely book with William!! Thanks William!!

Eduarda was an incredible cat sitter. From the moment Eduarda stepped into my home, my cat Chloe came to greet her (something unusual, but really good, especially since Chloe is shy with strangers). My Chloe is also a little bit older and requires a lot of attention – Eduarda made sure to make her feel loved and cared for. The check-ins were detailed and always on time. I felt safe leaving my Chloe’s care in Eduarda’s hands… highly recommend.

Erin was amazing, she treated my cats as if they were her own! She took awesome care of them, was very attentive during her visits, and even sent photo updates of how they were doing. I would definitely recommend her to friends and family, as well as personally book her services again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Quincy. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
