“Maria took great care of my cat Theodore! Loved all the photos she included from her visit with him while I was away and she was excellent at communicating any questions she had.”

“Aislinn is the best! This is my second time booking with her and she is extremely accommodating. She sent me updates with pictures after each visit with my cat Sandy and went out of her way to refill her water dispenser each time which was very much appreciated! Overall, I couldn’t recommend her enough and I will continue to rebook with Aislinn.”

About: I am a current dog owner 7.5 years to one very lovable mixed breed terrier! She’s an older lady with tiny legs so her walking needs are minimal :) In addition, I grew up with two lab mixes who lived well into their teens so I have experience with larger, active dogs, as well as senior dogs! I work full-time in Tech but I am 100% remote. I have the flexibility to take on one-off walks and drop-ins in the Beacon Hill area as needed! I am very aware of the quirks some dogs can have, so I’m flexible and can adhere to owners instructions as needed! Because I have my own dog, I'm experienced with gaining trust with other dogs and ensuring their safety!
“Lisa checked in on my cat Keke on short notice and was wonderful! She gave detailed updates with lots of photos and I came back to a healthy happy cat! I could tell Keke loved playing with her! I highly recommend Lisa for your pet care needs. Thank you!”

“Melissa took such great care of my cat Annabelle! She was experienced, kind, professional & Annabelle absolutely loved having her visit while I was away. Will definitely book her again!”

About: Hello, I’m Jenica ✨! I have 26 years of experience caring for dogs. I’m looking forward to loving your dog like my own! Being a dog lover is a huge part of who I am. I’ve owned big dogs all my life and have dog/cat sat for my community for 10+ years. I am so fulfilled by spending time with pups, which is why I’ve joined Rover. I work a 9 to 5, so hanging out with your pet is just a little something extra I do to add some joy to my day. My job is 100% work from home, so it makes it very convenient for me to do walks or drop ins before, during, and after my work day. I’m dependable, easy to communicate with, and always focused on making sure your pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for. I’m also happy to send updates and photos so you can feel confident while you’re away. My number one priority is always your pet’s safety. I keep it top of mind to ensure your pet is safe, comfortable, and happy. I’m very responsible with keeping doors locked and your home safe. I moved to Southie in Summer 2025, so I’ve really been enjoying getting to know the neighbors and the neighborhood. I’m the kind of person who will give pets to every dog I come across 😂 Looking forward to meeting you and your pup! 🐕 I work from home full-time, which gives me a flexible schedule during the day. I’m available for walks and drop-ins Monday through Friday, and can stop by while you’re at work for midday walks, potty breaks, or check-ins. I’m happy to accommodate consistent weekly schedules or occasional bookings, and I do my best to be reliable and on time. Feel free to reach out with your needs—I’m flexible and will try to make it work! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I take the time to understand each dog or cat’s routine, personality, and any specific needs so they feel secure and cared for. I’m attentive on walks (always leash-aware and mindful of surroundings), and I make sure pets are safe and settled before I leave your home. I’m also respectful of your space and will follow any instructions closely. I’m happy to provide updates and photos during visits so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands. My goal is to build trust with both you and your pet and create a calm, positive experience every time.
“Haley was awesome during her drop in visits with our 2 year old golden retriever, Jerry. She had great communication and sent a lot of pictures, and he was clearly excited and happy to be with her. Highly recommend booking with Haley!”

About: I grew up with 2 cats and a greyhound and have pet-sat and walked dogs for friends and neighbors from a young age. Throughout college, I volunteered in dog care at the local shelter, walking puppies and senior dogs alike. At the shelter, I also got experience in safely caring for dogs with behavioral challenges, such as resource guarding and dog aggression. Having worked as a vet assistant and being a current vet student, I am comfortable sitting for pets that need regular medications. I’m home for summer vacation! Without school, I have plenty of time to spend caring for your pets. I work per diem as a vet assistant, so I’ll keep my calendar updated as I pick up shifts. I’ll be leaving Boston again in mid-August. I am happy to care for your pets however you see fit! I can take dogs on walks or play with them in yards, and I can crate your dog if needed.
“Katherine went above and beyond in just a single visit. It was immediately clear how much she genuinely cares for animals, especially cats. Finding a trustworthy cat sitter can be surprisingly difficult, so we feel incredibly lucky to have found Katherine!”

“Juliet is excellent! This is my second time booking with her. She made my slightly shy cat feel very comfortable! My cat even went in for some lap cuddles which is rare for her. Highly recommend”

“We had just moved to Boston and needed a needed a dog-sitter on short notice for our Great Dane pup, Gordon, and David crushed it! He is super-patient and confident with our big boy and expertly communicative. David will always be our “go to!””

“Caroline was communicative, punctual, and followed all of my instructions. My cat seemed very well taken care of when I came back. Her litter was clean, as was her food bowl, she was well fed, and relaxed.”

About: I’ve spent years caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities through family, roommates, and close friends. I’m comfortable with daily routines like walks, feeding, and playtime, and supporting both energetic younger dogs and calmer senior dogs. I’m patient and attentive, always taking cues from each dog to help them feel relaxed and well cared for. Growing up, I also had early exposure to agility work with my aunt’s dogs, which helped me learn calm, clear communication and structured, positive walks. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I primarily offer dog walks and drop-in visits during weekday evenings, with added flexibility on work-from-home days. I’m intentional about availability so I can be reliable, consistent, and fully present during each visit. I take safety and trust seriously when caring for pets in a client’s home. I carefully follow all instructions, respect your space, and ensure doors, leashes, and gates are secure. During walks, I prioritize calm handling, awareness of surroundings, and your dog’s individual comfort level.

“Katie was awesome! She went above & beyond while we were away on an extended trip (offered to grab packages / water plants) and her communication was excellent! I’d definitely recommend Katie to other paw-rents in Boston. The peace of mind from knowing Katie was close by & checking on our kitties daily was priceless! We look forward to booking with Katie again for our future Rover needs.”

“Caitlyn did a great job taking care of my cat while I was gone! She provided several pictures and detailed updates so I could stay informed of how everything was going each day. Would recommend her to others!”

“Owen was very communicative, highly dependable, and did an amazing job with the cat visits. I highly recommend him and would definitely seek him out again in future”

About: I’ve loved and cared for animals since I was very young. It brings me joy to make them happy and ensure their needs are met and they feel loved. I’m currently working full time in Boston, but I have the ability to work remotely and have plenty of flexibility and time before and after work too! I always work to build trust with your pet and enjoy seeing how excited they get to play, eat, and receive lots of love and attention!
“Julie was amazing with Charlee! They were on time, super friendly, and sent us great updates with photos during the walk. Our pup came back happy and tired, which is exactly what we needed. We felt so comfortable knowing Charlee was in good hands. We will definitely be booking again”

We could not have asked more from Sloane. She was great throughout the whole process! I really enjoyed how thoughtful, caring, and attentive she was with our kittens. She also kept us updated sporadically during the days we were gone. Thank you for taking such good care of our cats!

Amanda took great care of my cat, Trinnie, over 3 consecutive weekends of travel while I adjusted to life in a new city. She consistently went above and beyond to make sure Trinnie had everything she needed and was very flexible and helpful when the automatic feeder had a malfunction. Her communication was excellent across all three bookings - with special mention to the update photos she captured! I couldn’t have asked for a better first experience with a pet sitter and will definitely rebook for any future trips!

Cynthia was so great with our senior kitties! We needed someone on short notice and she was super responsive and easy to coordinate with. Both of our cats receive medication twice a day so it was super important for us to find someone who was comfortable with that responsibility. Cynthia made sure each one got what they needed and sent us detailed updates. We had an issue with our smart lock during one of her drop ins and she alerted us immediately and came back later that night after it was sorted to make sure our girls were taken care of. Would absolutely use her again in the future!

Jenna spent a weekend checking in on our two cats and she was fantastic with them. One of our cats can be shy with strangers, but he warmed right up to her and they had lots of play time together. Jenna’s communication was great and she catered to our cats’ personalities and needs.

Sarah was amazing. We were looking for someone to take care of our cat while we were away last minute and Sarah was incredibly accommodating. Not only was she easy to communicate with, she also made our schedules work for her to pick up the keys. Our generally suspicious cat trusted her instantly - I couldn’t believe (and was delighted by) the photo updates she shared at each drop in. Could not recommend Sarah more highly!

Another win for Justin! He continues to go above and beyond with his care of my cats. I really appreciate his prompt communication and the abundance of photos per visit. It is clear he truly enjoys hanging out with those two and provides them with tons of attention and affection. He is my go-to sitter whenever available!
Stephanie did a wonderful job taking care of our cat while we were away. She was reliable, caring, and kept us updated, which gave us great peace of mind. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for kitty and everything was perfect. We truly appreciate her help and would highly recommend Stephanie to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter!
