“Aislinn is the best! This is my second time booking with her and she is extremely accommodating. She sent me updates with pictures after each visit with my cat Sandy and went out of her way to refill her water dispenser each time which was very much appreciated! Overall, I couldn’t recommend her enough and I will continue to rebook with Aislinn.”

“Maria did a wonderful job taking care of our 2 cats. She had great communication and I appreciated all of the photos and notes. It was comforting to know our cats were well taken care of while we were gone. I would definitely book with Maria again!”

“I would definitely rebook Melissa! She took great care of my dog in the drop ins and took for good walks and park visits ! My dog was so happy & ample pictures were provided !”

“Lisa checked in on my cat Keke on short notice and was wonderful! She gave detailed updates with lots of photos and I came back to a healthy happy cat! I could tell Keke loved playing with her! I highly recommend Lisa for your pet care needs. Thank you!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since my family rescued our first dog over 12 years ago. I have experience walking dogs, feeding dogs, washing dogs, and giving dogs their medications. I’m a night shift nurse, so I have unique availability that people in other careers may not. I specialize in taking care of people in their most vulnerable states, and would love to do the same for your pet. I work full-time at a Boston Hospital. However, I am a night shift nurse who works 36 hours overnight per week. The nights I work do charge each week, but I have a lot of availability during the day. I also only work every third weekend. I don’t plan to care for pets in my home as I live in an apartment in South Boston. However, I plan to care for pets in my clients’ homes well. I want your pet to feel safe and be excited that their friend has arrived to walk them, feed them, spend time with them, etc.
About: I grew up with 2 cats and a greyhound and have pet-sat and walked dogs for friends and neighbors from a young age. Throughout college, I volunteered in dog care at the local shelter, walking puppies and senior dogs alike. At the shelter, I also got experience in safely caring for dogs with behavioral challenges, such as resource guarding and dog aggression. Having worked as a vet assistant and being a current vet student, I am comfortable sitting for pets that need regular medications. I’m home for summer vacation! Without school, I have plenty of time to spend caring for your pets. I work per diem as a vet assistant, so I’ll keep my calendar updated as I pick up shifts. I am happy to care for your pets however you see fit! I can take dogs on walks or play with them in yards, and I can crate your dog if needed.
About: I am a current dog owner 7.5 years to one very lovable mixed breed terrier! She’s an older lady with tiny legs so her walking needs are minimal :) In addition, I grew up with two lab mixes who lived well into their teens so I have experience with larger, active dogs, as well as senior dogs! I work full-time in Tech but I am 100% remote. I have the flexibility to take on one-off walks and drop-ins in the Beacon Hill area as needed! I am very aware of the quirks some dogs can have, so I’m flexible and can adhere to owners instructions as needed! Because I have my own dog, I'm experienced with gaining trust with other dogs and ensuring their safety!
“We had just moved to Boston and needed a needed a dog-sitter on short notice for our Great Dane pup, Gordon, and David crushed it! He is super-patient and confident with our big boy and expertly communicative. David will always be our “go to!””

About: experienced german shepherd owner of 5 years who has grown up around dogs! I love big and small breeds and won’t just walk/hang out with your pup, i’ll make sure they feel loved and safe while you’re away :) I WFH Wednesdays and Fridays (can do lunch walks in southie), and will be here most weekends, and would love to care for your pup! I can do stop ins, but won’t typically watch dogs in my own home due to lease restrictions. Very responsible with locking all doors and making sure your dog is safe
“We had an amazing experience with Haley! She was super easy to communicate with, provided lots of updated & photos which was so reassuring and was super flexible! Highly recommend - can’t wait to use her again!”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter. Lillian was incredibly attentive and genuinely engaged with my cat, giving him so much love and care. She paid close attention to every detail and kept me updated, which made me feel completely secure leaving my baby in her hands. It was clear she truly cares, and that peace of mind is priceless. I would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional care.”

“Katherine was genuinely kind with my cat such that my cat became friend with her so quickly and completely. Also, Katherine followed my instructions accurately which made me confident that my cat had a great visit.”

“She was very good and everything was in order when we got back from our trip. She sent updates and never had any problems/missed a visit to feed our cat. Would book again!”

About: Saying goodbye to my 15-year-old rescue last year was a true heartbreak, but it helped me realize that spending time with furry friends is healing. As many people say, “Grief is love with no place to go.” I’m looking for some dogs and cats to channel that love towards. I grew up around animals and started pet-sitting/dog walking in middle school, so I’m comfortable with all walks of animal life. As I’ve done with previous clients, I’ll love and care for your pet as my own❤️ I’m available for morning/mid-morning walks before 10:30am on Tuesdays and before 12pm on Thursdays. I’m super flexible on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, so please don’t hesitate to reach out! We will make it work! Your furry friend would be getting all my love and attention while we are together! I do not have any pets, so yours would be my sole focus.
“Julia was an amazing cat sitter for our kitten, Geno! She communicated clearly, sent regular updates, and took such great care of him. We came home to a happy and well cared for kitten and couldn’t be more grateful. Highly recommend Julia!!”

About: Animal lover with tons of energy and love to share from my whole family. I'm a former vet tech/animal care technician. In my home your pet will never be alone. My whole family is here to share love and support. I entered the animal care field over 15 years ago. I love spending quality time with pets. I know animal body language like i speak it!! We (whole family) would love to take care of your pet. It makes me happy to know that your pet is comfy and well taken care of while your away. PLEASE NOTE: We have 2 friendly Cats. Please do not book if your pet has ANY SERIOUS issues with kitties. (Puppies excluded for that one, but can do a meet and greet to be sure). Our sons are both hands on with the business and will hopefully continue later in pet care. Our 22 yr old works at a dog daycare. My husband is a dog trainer, so we are a well rounded animal loving family. We are very flexible with P/U and D/O times. We hope to see you soon!! In the meantime check out our 💗PET SITTER INSTAGRAM💗🔊🔊🔊: Lilsparkyds I have a home full of family so your pet will never be alone. Your pet will still be provided walks throughout the day and constant supervision. For walks we go on group hikes in accepted wooded areas/trails. Whenever we are out for walks I require using a leash or harness. Although we have a beach and field across the st, I'll never take your pet off leash while visiting those spots. I am able to crate, or separate for feeding and sleeping if needed. I also am a vet tech with plenty of resources and knowledge in case of emergencies.
About: My family has owned dogs since I was born and I’ve always loved being around them! In the past, I have dog walked for multiple families in the Boston area. I’m looking to expand my opportunities through Rover! I work full time but I’m also fully remote out of my apartment! I have a very flexible work schedule which allows me to do potty breaks or walks at any point throughout the day. I have a back deck where your dog can get fresh air during the day and I have a shared back area with my apartment neighbors!
“Juliet was amazing with my three cats! She babysat my kittens for the first time I ever left them and she did a great job even though they are a little crazy. She took great care of my home and gave my cats lots of love. Highly recommend and I will be using her again!”

South Boston pet parents share their Rover experiences
I’m lucky my 17 yr old cat has Grace to look in on him. She’s very responsive to his needs, whether it is to play or sit and be scratched under the ears. She’s sends reports so I don’t worry about him. Grace is his favorite. He tells me by how calm and content he is when I get home.
This was our second time booking with Gabi and just like last time, she took such great care of our girls! She was so mindful about making them as comfortable as possible that when one of my cats was feeling a bit shy, Gabi gave her a treat to reintroduce herself. Love the thoughtful and carefulness that Gabi has when checking in on my cats. Will be my go-to sitter from now on!!

Samantha has been amazing. From our initial meet and greet to multiple visits with my kitten, she has been thoroughly communicative, polite, and professional. She has great attention to detail and went above and beyond in providing updates. She even put the cat food away neater than I had left it for her. As a first time pet parent, I felt very comforted that my cat was in kind and safe hands. Beyond feeding, I mainly wanted a companion for my kitten as she is young, and Samantha played with all her favorite toys with her. I’d trust her with anyone’s pet, and I can’t wait to use her services again. Thank you Samantha!

Ariana did a great job with Piper! We have a tricky automatic wet feeder and she handled it with no problem. She was attentive and quick to share extensive updates and pictures of Piper twice a day, and it was such a relief to have a reliable sitter taking care of her while we were gone! :)

Anna did an incredible job of looking after our cat Cam while we were away for two weeks. She was great about sending us updates and pictures each day, and was quick to respond with all my questions while we were away. It felt good knowing that we left Cam in good hands. Anna will be our first choice the next time we need a sitter.

Sophie did a wonderful job with our two cats! They clearly felt very comfortable with her, and I appreciated that she went above and beyond looking after them and our home, playing with them, keeping the place clean, and keeping us informed. Will gladly book her again :)
