“Maria took great care of my cat Theodore! Loved all the photos she included from her visit with him while I was away and she was excellent at communicating any questions she had.”

“Ashley charmed our cat, Pip, like no one ever has before! She was easy to communicate with, accommodating around key pick up and drop off, and most importantly was amazing with Pip! We will definitely be booking Ashley in the future and couldn’t recommend her more strongly!”

“We had just moved to Boston and needed a needed a dog-sitter on short notice for our Great Dane pup, Gordon, and David crushed it! He is super-patient and confident with our big boy and expertly communicative. David will always be our “go to!””

“Catherine was not only amazing to my dog, but helped me personally on two separate occasions. One time, I locked myself out of my apartment and Catherine hopped in her car and came right over so I could use her set of keys. Another time, I forgot my phone at home and I was able to contact her via the website and she drove to my house, obtained my phone, and then drove it to me at work. Talk about above and beyond!! Not many would do this!”

About: Although I’m new on Rover, I’ve taken care of pets for friends and family for as long as I can remember. I’m responsible when it comes to their individual needs, and have a full time job that allows me to work remotely. I’m great with animals and very patient with them :) I work full-time, but I have a job that allows me to work remotely whenever I want. My daily schedule is fairly flexible so I can step away from the computer when your pet needs a walk/potty break/playtime. I have some afternoon commitments, but they would not take me away from the house for super long periods of time (for example, Pilates which would be a couple hours at most). I have experience staying at other peoples houses to take care of their pets, and I am respectful of both the space as well as your pets requirements. I’m responsible when it comes to feeding them on time if there is a specific schedule, and making sure they have any medications/supplements they need. Additionally, I am on top of it when it comes to playing with pets in my care and taking them for walks daily.
About: I’ve grown up around animals my entire life. My first dog was a Labrador Retriever named Tommy, who was part of my family from the time I was born until I was 12. When I was around 8, I used to go on little adventures with him in the nearby woods, and he somehow always led me safely back home like a living GPS 😅. He was incredibly loyal and protective. My grandmother also had a German Shepherd that I spent a lot of time with growing up, which helped me become comfortable around larger dogs as well. During my school years through graduation, my family cared for many cats (around 15–20 over time). I also raised a Samoyed puppy named Whiteny. I rescued her when she was about four months old after a friend found her sick on his porch and called me. I convinced my parents to let me keep her, and in return I took full responsibility for her care. I walked her, fed her, bathed her, trained her, and took her out for potty breaks every day. I helped nurse her back to health, and she became my best friend. We went everywhere together—walks, trips, and even water adventures with friends and family. Even my dad, who wasn’t originally fond of animals, grew attached to her. Sadly, a few years later she was stolen, which was really heartbreaking for me. After that experience I didn’t get another dog of my own for a long time, though I’ve continued caring for cats and other animals. I’ve also cared for parrots, so I’m comfortable with different personalities, energy levels, and routines. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I understand how important they are to their families. My schedule is flexible since I work and study part-time from my apartment, which allows me to give pets the time and attention they need. I’m available for drop-ins, walks, and pet sitting during both weekdays and weekends. I can adjust my routine to match your pet’s normal schedule, whether that means morning walks, midday check-ins, feeding times, or evening playtime. Because I understand how important consistency is for animals, I make sure their routines stay as normal and comfortable as possible while you’re away. I’m also happy to provide updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. My top priority is maintaining the 'status quo' for your pet. In your home, I follow your specific security instructions and stick strictly to the feeding/medication schedule you’ve set. If boarding with me, my home is fully pet-proofed with a secure yard, and I ensure your pet has a quiet, comfortable space to relax. I provide daily photo updates so you can see your pet is happy, healthy, and safe!
“Rachel did an excellent job watching our two senior cats. They do not warm up easily to new people, but Rachel was clearly an exception—she took time to pet and play with them. She also had no trouble administering oral meds to one of our cats. Very happy with our experience.”
“Lisa checked in on my cat Keke on short notice and was wonderful! She gave detailed updates with lots of photos and I came back to a healthy happy cat! I could tell Keke loved playing with her! I highly recommend Lisa for your pet care needs. Thank you!”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter. Lillian was incredibly attentive and genuinely engaged with my cat, giving him so much love and care. She paid close attention to every detail and kept me updated, which made me feel completely secure leaving my baby in her hands. It was clear she truly cares, and that peace of mind is priceless. I would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional care.”

“Sarah is amazing! She was so patient and kind with my dog June, who can definitely be a handful at times. Sarah handled her so well and was very communicative and friendly. Would have her back anytime!”

About: experienced german shepherd owner of 5 years who has grown up around dogs! I love big and small breeds and won’t just walk/hang out with your pup, i’ll make sure they feel loved and safe while you’re away :) I WFH Wednesdays and Fridays (can do lunch walks in southie), and will be here most weekends, and would love to care for your pup! I can do stop ins, but won’t typically watch dogs in my own home due to lease restrictions. Very responsible with locking all doors and making sure your dog is safe
“Kyle was a fantastic sitter for Sam, my adorable yet active Maine Coon. Responsible, professional, and good at making pets feel loved and taken care of when owners are away.”

“She was very good and everything was in order when we got back from our trip. She sent updates and never had any problems/missed a visit to feed our cat. Would book again!”

About: Hi I’m Molly! I work hybrid remote and live with my golden doodle Guinness. We go on walks everyday and would love to take a pal along with, or if preferred, Guinness doesn’t mind staying home for an hour to let mom take a solo walk with a new pup! I have had dogs of all sizes and behaviors, so nothing is too big or little of a task:) I am also free to come stop in and say hi/feed/take for a potty break any dogs that need a friendly visitor during the day! I work remote on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays so depending on my work meeting schedule, I am pretty flexible to head out to take the pup on a walk/visit! I always carry treats with me to make sure me and the pup gain trust with positive reinforcement. If going for a long walk, I always make sure the pup will have water when they get home!
“Caitlyn did a great job taking care of my cat while I was gone! She provided several pictures and detailed updates so I could stay informed of how everything was going each day. Would recommend her to others!”
