About: I grew up on a 155 acre farm in Upstate New York. I have been around all different variety of animals and pets and taken cared for all of them. I currently work as a graduate fellow while getting my masters. My hours are pretty flexible and are the same every week. Tuesday’s and Thursdays I am the most free as well as Monday and Friday afternoons. I share an apartment with two other people who love animals and wouldn’t mind a friendly visitor every once in awhile, I would be taking care of the pets by myself. Our neighborhood is safe and walkable.

About: My family has had dogs and cats my whole life and I’ve always been very involved in their care process. I am familiar with the often complicated needs of an older pet, or many animals at once; I pride myself on my organization and attention to detail. I’m currently far from home and missing my pets, so you can trust that I will treat your animals as if they were my own— this is as much for you as it is for me! My schedule varies day to day, but the majority of commitments can be done on my time, meaning I have plenty of time for your pets! I am close to my college campus, where there is lots to sniff and space for shady walks. I can meet any specific needs such as crating your dog or maintaining the routine you have set up for your pet.
“Amanda was amazing!! All updates were thorough and she took so many good pictures, she spent lots of time playing and cuddling with our cat, who clearly loved her too :) highly recommend!!!”

“Nathan was fantastic! I was concerned because my dog has some separation anxiety and we weren’t sure how she would do, but Nathan’s visits, updates and photos truly put me at ease. He took her to hang out with some of his regular dogs he works with and she did great and had fun. I will DEFINITELY be reaching out to Nathan again in the future and I highly recommend him to anyone else in the area. Thank you, Nathan!”

“Abby was great with Merlin! She’s incredibly responsive and sent the best playtime pics. Will definitely be reaching out in the future since we’re neighbors too :).”

“Eleanor was great with Luna while we were on vacation! Luna warmed up to her super quickly. Eleanor spent time sitting / playing with Luna each day on her visit and sent us lots of pictures and updates!”

“So wonderful to have met Lynne! She was great with my anxious dogs and I appreciated that she did the meet and greet and got to know them ahead of time! They currently can't be at home alone and so it was great peace of mind to be able to leave them with her. We'll definitely be booking again. Thank you Lynne!”

“Isabel is a gem! We were so glad to be able to have her care for our shy kitty again and know that we’ll receive a full report on how she’s doing while we were away!”

“Elise took amazing care of my cats while I was away, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! From the start, they were communicative, reliable, and clearly experienced with cats. They followed all instructions perfectly and even sent me daily updates with pictures, which gave me peace of mind. When I came home, my cat was happy, well-fed, and clearly well cared for. It’s obvious that Elise has a genuine love for animals. I will absolutely be booking with them again and highly recommend them to any cat parent looking for a trustworthy sitter!”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my deep compassion, patience, and experience with dogs who need extra attention—especially those with anxiety or special routines. I have hands-on experience caring for senior dogs, puppies, and pets who struggle with separation anxiety. My own dog, Sasha, has anxiety, so I understand the importance of gentle care, consistency, and emotional support. I treat every pet like family, and I’m committed to creating a calm, safe, and loving environment while you’re away. Whether your pup needs long walks, slow introductions, or just a cozy lap to nap on—I’ve got you covered! Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I have Mondays and Tuesdays off, which gives me plenty of time for daytime walks and drop-ins. On other days, I’m able to fit in visits between school and work—and I don’t mind doing late-night drop-ins if your pet needs evening attention. Caring for animals is something I truly enjoy, so I’m happy to make it a priority in my schedule. I’m dependable, flexible, and always focused on making pets feel safe and loved while you’re away. I only offer pet care in the client’s home because I believe pets are happiest and most comfortable in their own familiar environment. I follow your pet’s routine closely—whether that’s feeding, walks, playtime, or administering medication. I respect your space, keep things tidy, and make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. My goal is always to provide reliable, stress-free care that gives both you and your pet peace of mind.
“Dana was absolutely fantastic! I was a bit anxious leaving our two cats alone for the longest period they've experienced, but Dana was wonderful! Eventhough I was out of service for a number of the days, she left detailed visit notes and plenty of pictures each day. I loved being able to read how each cat was every visit, and appreciated the regular brushing and hairball watch for my longhaired cat!”

“Wonderful care, helpful updates, and lots of pictures. My cat is definitely friends with Isabel now! I would absolutely work with her again. Thanks, Isabel, from Stella and me!”

“Sean was friendly and professional and responded quickly to my messages. He showed up for check-ins when he was supposed to, provided detailed reports, and plenty of photos.”

“Lily was fantastic—truly dependable! She even brought a new toy for Peanut to play with. Her check-in reviews were super thorough. When Peanut knocked some stuff off the counter, Lily immediately notified me and removed the items from the floor. She also intuitively cleared other items from the counter just in case. I trust her with my little Peanut 100% and highly recommend her to check in on your fur babies too.”

“Cameron dropped in 3 times while we were away for the weekend to feed our cats and give them a little attention. On time, super responsive and communicative. Very dependable!”

About: I grew up volunteering at pet shops, watching dog videos as a favorite past time (still do) and petsitting for friends all my life. I currently live with a senior dog and play/take care of her most days also! I have a natural knack for connecting with even the most timid, grumpy or anxious animals quickly. I like to approach pets respectfully and gently, bonding at their pace so they feel safe and settled easily. I’ve taken care of dogs, cats and bunnies week+ at a time. I currently live with a 9yo dog, so I have a soft spot for senior dogs. I am often the person who walks and cares for the dog throughout the week because I work remotely. Walks should be paced by the dog’s desired pace w lot of sniffing, time at home should feel safe and calm (w occasional fun w toys of course) and you should be communicated to feel anxious-free comfortable while you are away from your pet! I have a car and work remote, unless I am already booked or have a meeting, I am relatively flexible. Usual availabilities: Weekdays: Walks and visits – flexible day to day, but prefer to walk before 9am, during lunch hours, or after 4:30pm. Sitting – available to sit 9-5pm but able to go longer on Mon, Tues, Fri Sun: flexible and available 3:30pm onwards Feel free to lmk what you need and we can work it out! When it’s play time, it should be fun and energetic! When it’s nap time, they should feel calm and safe. I work a flexible remote job, so I will be able to provide as much attention as you pet needs.

This was our second time booking with Gabi and just like last time, she took such great care of our girls! She was so mindful about making them as comfortable as possible that when one of my cats was feeling a bit shy, Gabi gave her a treat to reintroduce herself. Love the thoughtful and carefulness that Gabi has when checking in on my cats. Will be my go-to sitter from now on!!

Caroline was so great with our cat Roxy! Roxy can get very stressed/territorial when we’re away and Caroline was very patient and followed the care instructions we left super closely to help Roxy feel more comfortable. I would definitely recommend Caroline (especially if you also have a more anxious cat)

My kitties seem so happy and energetic even after I returned from a long trip. I've relied on her service for more than a year and she's been consistently thoughtful and transparent. I'm always super impressed with her, I would highly recommend her service!!

Reilly stopped by and fed my cats while I was away for a few days, and I am so grateful for the exceptional care that was provided! I felt comfortable knowing my cats were well taken care of, and Reilly is great about communicating and following directions. So glad that I found Reilly on Rover!

Anna did an incredible job of looking after our cat Cam while we were away for two weeks. She was great about sending us updates and pictures each day, and was quick to respond with all my questions while we were away. It felt good knowing that we left Cam in good hands. Anna will be our first choice the next time we need a sitter.

Allison is great! We were recommended her by a friend and she’s hands down the best sitter we’ve had. Every time she visited she’d feed our cats and then proceed to play with them/give them pets for the rest of the time. And she’d send SO MANY cute pics!! Our cats can be a little standoffish but they took to her right away. We’ll definitely be booking again the next time we travel - we didn’t have to worry about the cats at all with Allison watching them :)

Winita was fantastic with our super shy cats! They normally hide from all guests, but she knew the right mix of treats and games to get them out of their hiding places. By the end of our short trip, they loved her! She was also on top of all the other cat-based chores. My favorite part is all the videos she sent of our cats. I highly recommend her!

Zhao is always patient with my cat and very professional! I am able to enjoy my trips knowing that my cat is in good hands 😸 My cat takes time to open up but Zhao was very observant of my cat’s reactions and respected my cat’s boundaries. Then slowly my cat eased up with her 😊 A very responsible and caring sitter! Highly recommend 👍
