About: I’ve pet sat for a lot of my neighbors in high school. I have fed and walked dogs, fed and hung out with cats and even fed chickens! I have 3 cats and love dogs and going on long sunny walks :). Willing to learn about any animals! I work at a therapeutic middle school so my afternoons after 3 and weekends are free, and I’m free after 2 in the summer. I can travel to your house and stay with your pet and keep them company. If you need me to stay there/house sit, we can talk about that as well.
About: I’ve spent the last few years helping family and friends with all their pet care needs including boarding, house visits and stays, walks and playtime. I have equal experience caring for medium sized dogs and cats. I work full time in the office but am available for services after 3pm on weekdays and anytime on weekends. I can also house sit for as long as needed by the owner. I can cater my work towards the pet’s typical schedule with any input from the owner. I like to minimize change for the animals as much as possible.

About: Hi! I’m Samantha, and caring for dogs has been a huge part of my life for years. I’ve volunteered with two different animal shelters, where I helped care for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Through fostering, I’ve gained hands-on experience with dogs who have medical needs, giving medications, helping shy or anxious pups adjust, and providing the patience and consistency they need to thrive. My most recent foster ended up becoming a “foster fail”—my sweet girl, Petunia, who officially stole my heart and became a permanent member of my family. Before Petunia, I had my first dog, Cooper, for 16 wonderful years. Losing him was incredibly difficult, but he reinforced just how much joy and purpose dogs bring to my life. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, snuggling on the couch, or just having someone keep them company, I’ll treat them like one of my own. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and my goal is to make sure both you and your dog feel comfortable, safe, and happy. I’m also currently on the waitlist to volunteer with additional local shelters because I genuinely love helping dogs whenever I can. I can’t wait to meet your pup and give them the same love, attention, and care I’d want for my own. I currently work from home and have a pretty flexible schedule! I would love to stop in and take your dog for a walk! Can do day-of requests! I have a fenced in dog yard at my apartment complex that I take my dog to! We also love the walking path in Everett that goes down to Encore!
About: I love both dogs and cats alike! I’m happy to take your dog to a dog park, clean up cat litter, or do whatever care is needed for your pet. I will be fully available weekends and weekdays until August 17th for all feeding, walking, and sitting. After then, I will only be available on weekends. I’ll communicate with you so that you’re aware of anything going on with your pet. I don’t have place myself yet, but I’ll make sure your pet is safe and your home is clean of any pet messes.
“Monica is so great! Very attentive and communicative. She came to meet my cat prior to her first sitting gig and took very good care of her while we were away. I would definitely recommend Monica and will be booking with her again!”

“Nathan is awesome and a pet sitter that goes above and beyond! He took great care of our 2 dogs and 1 cat. He was super attentive, sent really great photos and notes each visit, took inside a package we weren't expecting, and even did some extra laundry for us after one of our elderly dogs had an accident. We really felt so comfortable knowing someone was taking such high quality care of our animals while also having an eye on house. Highly recommend!”
“Natalie was amazing. My cat is a temperamental older kittie, and Natalie was incredible, letting Pluto set the tone. My cat is on blood thinners, and Natalie took great photos of medicine administration, really putting my mind at ease.”

About: I have always had pets both cats and dogs. Currently I’ve got 3 cats at home that keep life fun! My husband and I fostered and trained a puppy until he went to his forever home at 9 months and were complimented by his forever family on his training. I love spending quality time with dogs, doing things they love, and teaching them new things in fun ways. Currently pursuing education in vet med! I’m available all day Wednesday and from 11-4 most other week days. Weekend availability is variable. My schedule is flexible and I am willing to accommodate your needs! Just ask! In my home, I have a cat wheel, lots of scratchers and houses to lounge in. Cats are welcome on most furniture. I use positive reinforcement to maintain good relationships with all animals. In your home, I will respect your rules and follow the expectations we discuss before hand.
“Allison is absolutely wonderful! Our cat instantly adored her, and it made us so happy to see how much he enjoys spending time with her. She brought out his playful side and kept him active and engaged. Throughout her visit, she showered him with love and care. We feel incredibly lucky to have found her!”

“Once again, she went above and beyond to help me. I asked a very last minute question, which was for her to bring my dog to my boyfriends house and without any hesitation she drove him there (not to mention in rush hour)”

I am free 5 days of the week. Preferably after noon, but I am very flexible I work through pet owner's needs. I try to understand pet's personality. I allow pets to be themselves around me. “Jamie is great with our puppy. She loves playing tug of war and chasing after balls. Jamie happily obliges her and lets us know how she did during each visit. Plus he is super responsive to scheduling requests! Would definitely recommend him!”

About: Veterinary technician working in a vet clinic, almost 4 years in the field. Lifelong animal lover and caregiver. Looking for part time gigs that include more fluffy friends! I’m currently working 3 days a week at the vet clinic (shifts change week to week). Looking to fill up my other days with pet care to keep me active and surrounded by fluffy creatures. I update my availability calendar as my clinic schedule comes out. I live in a two family house (family owned). We have a fenced in backyard for your pup to run around and go potty if they’d like to. I have one cat, who gets along well with dogs (honestly, he just ignores them). If necessary to keep your dog more comfortable, they can be kept separated.

Grace has been amazing to work with! She has been incredibly flexible and accommodating, which has made everything so easy. Finn is reactive, so we were naturally nervous about leaving him with someone new, but he absolutely loves Grace. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing he’s so comfortable with her. Grace is kind, patient, and truly cares about Finn. She communicates with us so well, always keeps us updated, and goes above and beyond to make sure he’s happy and well cared for. We are so grateful we found her and couldn’t recommend her more highly. Thank you, Grace, for taking such wonderful care of our boy!

I’ve trusted Monica more than once, and she is truly a wonderful pet sitter. She treats both your home and your pets as if they were her own, with so much care and love. It's such a comfort knowing everything is in great hands while you're away. I highly recommend her, and I will definitely continue to be a repeat customer!

An amazing and capable sitter for cats!! One of my cats is very anxious and gets scared so easily, but he seemed more comfortable with Szu than any other sitters I’ve had. I’m really relieved my cats are so receptive to her care. I think the way she interacts with my cats and how she spends time to play with them really made them relax. She also sent so many pictures and videos and I really REALLY appreciated that because I miss my cats when I’m traveling. I 💯 recommend Szu for your pets. She was incredible!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
