“Nathan is great, he's attentive and caring with Maddie. He doesn't let her quirks bother him and actively integrates our training methods creating a safe and consistent walking environment for both of them. Would highly recommend and use again!”

About: *Use PHOEBL42453 for $20 credit off your first booking Enthusiastic dog auntie here! While I don't have a dog of my own, I've walked, fed and housed dogs for family members and friends in my free time. Always willing to spoil dogs whether they like long leisurely walks or boundless energy runs. My roommate is also a fellow dog lover so together we'll make sure your dog gets all the attention they need. I am a web developer working remotely so I'm able to walk your dogs on any given timeframe. My schedule also allows plenty of time to care for your dogs. I routinely go for morning and night jogs so your dogs will definitely stay active! Currently living in a 2 bedroom apartment with a large outdoor patio space so there's plenty of room for your pet to run and play. I can also crate anxious dogs in a quiet corner if needed. I will send pics and updates throughout the day so you can be assured that your dog is attended to! As I work from home, I can be flexible to match your schedule as needed.

“Lisa has been a dog walking life saver. She consistently arrives on time, is an excellent communicator, and my shy pups clearly adore her. Sadly, this has not been the case with all of my Rover dog walkers. I could not recommend her more!”

“Danny has been absolutely wonderful with West. From the very beginning, it was clear how knowledgeable and experienced he is with dogs. He takes the time to understand West's personality, needs, and energy level, and it shows in every interaction. Danny is reliable, professional, and genuinely loves what he does. He has also shared helpful insights and advice that have been incredibly valuable. I highly recommend Danny to anyone looking for a trustworthy, knowledgeable, and caring dog walker.”

“My boy was well taken care of by Heather while my partner and I were gone for a weekend. She made sure he drank water, was fed, walked, and given some cuddle time twice a day. Highly recommended. 🫂”

About: Veterinary technician working in a vet clinic, almost 4 years in the field. Lifelong animal lover and caregiver. Looking for part time gigs that include more fluffy friends! I’m currently working 3 days a week at the vet clinic (shifts change week to week). Looking to fill up my other days with pet care to keep me active and surrounded by fluffy creatures. I update my availability calendar as my clinic schedule comes out. I live in a two family house (family owned). We have a fenced in backyard for your pup to run around and go potty if they’d like to. I have one cat, who gets along well with dogs (honestly, he just ignores them). If necessary to keep your dog more comfortable, they can be kept separated.
About: I love both dogs and cats alike! I’m happy to take your dog to a dog park, clean up cat litter, or do whatever care is needed for your pet. I will be fully available weekends and weekdays until August 17th for all feeding, walking, and sitting. After then, I will only be available on weekends. I’ll communicate with you so that you’re aware of anything going on with your pet. I don’t have place myself yet, but I’ll make sure your pet is safe and your home is clean of any pet messes.
“Gonzalo is so good with my Penny. Shes a difficult one, but he goes out of his way to avoid situations that cause her stress. He provides me with thorough updates on their walks. The first time he met her she loved him, which if youre a dog person you know, our dogs know who to trust and not. I highly recommend Gonzalo to take care of your fur babies!!! As a bonus he takes GREAT photos of my baby which i love seeing ❤️”

“Tatiana was responsive and I had no issues with her service. However, I would a brief summary of how Enzo did post walk and more than 2 photos. Given the weather these past couple of days I understand the urgency of get through the walk quickly.”

I can walk with dog besides Friday Saturday and Sunday afternoon and night. I have a part time job. We can discuss the details about schedule. I can walk with dog in park or hiking if u don’t mind. i can take in your house too. I can drive haha ha
About: Right now I have two bunnies at home but my family and friends always have dogs and cats around so I have a lot of experience taking care of both(also bunnies ofc), especially with elder dogs. I'm a very patient and observant person and animals usually LOVE me! I currently have a very flexible schedule, which means I can do drop-in visits anytime during the days, I would prefer dog walking in the afternoon more than the morning but that is totally negotiable! My jobs have been very communication/client based so I intend to bring that same level of care and reliability when looking after pets — making sure both you and your pet feel comfortable and at ease. I will ask you about their personalities and preferences before I meet them. I will start slow to earn their trust. Depending on whether they are energetic or shy, I can adapt to be playful or gentle with them too. During walks, I will prepare waste bags and treats if needed. I will also help clean their paws after a rainy/muddy walk. If your pets have specific toys you want me to play with them, I will make sure they have fun too!
About: I grew up with two silky terriers and have done a lot of overnight dog-watching for friends and family. I've walked leash-reactive dogs before as well, so I'm keen on making sure dogs with special needs are met! I've otherwise been with dogs most of my life and would love to be your best friend’s newest pal. I work from home 2 days per week, so while I’m busy most of the day, I can take periodic breaks to take your dog out for walks or pee breaks. My house is dog-proof with a small enclosed patio instead of a back yard. After walks we usually just play a bit and I do low key activities like TV to keep an easy eye on the dog.
“Felipe has been a complete godsend in our lives with our 2 yr old pitty, nena! He is always super responsive, trustworthy and always is so sweet with our pup. We know he treats her with love and as his own when she’s under his care on walks. He consistently leaves us detailed reviews of the walk and tells us how sweet shes been with him, He’s very caring and feel, We’re all lucky to have him. Would absolutely without hesitation refer him to anyone looking for walks or other services that he offers. You and your pup are in great hands 🖤”

“Jamie clearly takes his responsibilities seriously and takes the utmost care of our dog. As first time dog owners, we were nervous to leave our pup in someone else’s care, and how our pup would react to someone else being in the home. Those nerves quickly vanished, and we as well as our puppy enjoy having Jamie come over to walk him and care for him. He is very professional and very caring toward our dog, which is all we could ask for!”

I do have my own dog at home , so will be coming and going to take care of her as well for any multi day care.
“Ana is truly the absolute best with my dog Jax! I’m a nurse and therefore work long days. Ana always makes sure that Jax gets plenty of love, attention, freedom, and exercise when she comes to visit. She’s incredibly communicative and timely with follow up. Jax just loves her. Truly could not recommend her any more highly!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Malden
Megan was absolutely incredible with our 4.5-year-old King Charles Cavalier while we were out of town. Our dog normally travels with us, so when she realized she was staying behind, she panicked. We reached out to Megan in a bit of a scramble to see if she could add extra drop-in visits, and she was incredibly flexible and accommodating. Despite having her own schedule and plans, she showed up within just a couple of hours to check on her. She was so attentive and caring, spending extra time just to make sure our pup felt safe and loved. In fact, our dog adored her so much she practically forgot we were even gone! We had complete peace of mind knowing she was in such great hands. We will absolutely be working with Megan again in the future and cannot recommend her enough!

Yesika has been the greatest dog walker! She is responsive and communicative and kind. When I dropped Achilles off for an overnight stay, he was sooooo excited to see her. I already had no doubts that she was a good sitter, and that confirmed it for me and made me feel even better about having her care for my boy!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
