About: I've been pet-obsessed my entire life! I grew up around large dogs, multiple cats, hamsters, fish, and even a snake, and I've been caring for others' pets since high school. Dogs and cats have always been a huge part of my life. - Most recently, I've been helping care for a senior rescue dog named Toby who has severe anxiety and some health issues. When we first met, he was too nervous to let me near him. By the end of our first day together, he was happily curled up beside me on the couch. I've also administered his medications and followed his special potty-break routine, including driving him to quieter neighborhoods where he feels more comfortable. - I also have my own 70-lb rescue dog, Lola, who I've spent the past year training through positive reinforcement, enrichment, and plenty of daily exercise. We've worked on recall, loose-leash walking, impulse control, and staying focused around distractions. - I genuinely love getting to know animals as individuals and paying attention to the little things that help them feel safe, comfortable, and happy. My goal is to give your pet thoughtful, reliable care while keeping you in the loop every step of the way. ❤️ My daytime schedule is currently very flexible, and I'm intentionally keeping it open so I can make pet care a priority. I'm generally available for walks and drop-in visits most times of most days. - I’m happy to work with your pet's usual routine whenever possible, whether that means a midday walk, a quick check-in, or regular walks throughout the week. I also understand that schedules change, so feel free to reach out even if you need something outside of my usual availability - We can always discuss it! I'm a big believer that excellent pet care means actually paying attention. - I'll follow your instructions carefully, keep an eye on your pet's behavior and surroundings, and adjust to their individual personality rather than expecting every dog to behave the same way. I'm especially comfortable taking things slowly with nervous or anxious pets, and I use positive reinforcement whenever appropriate. - For walks, I'm especially mindful of leash security, traffic, other dogs, and your pet's individual triggers. I won't put your dog into situations that make them uncomfortable just to complete a particular route. - You'll also never have to wonder how your pet's visit went. I'll send updates and let you know about anything unusual I notice. If another dog lunges at your dog, your pet seems stressed by something, or if there's a change in your dog's stool, I'll tell you. - Your home gets the same level of respect: I'll follow your instructions, keep things tidy, and make sure everything is secure before I leave.

I’ve had dogs my entire life and am currently the proud parent of an almost 10-year-old rescue pup. About: I've always loved taking care of dogs! I had my first when I was 9, a beagle. Throughout the years I've done various dog-walking and dog/cat sitting for friends and family, and now I miss seeing all the dogs as I live away from them and they have passed :'( On multiple occasions, I took care of two loving but rambunctious pit bulls for weekends and extended periods of time while my friend was away. Gave them medicines, lots of attention, and invigorating walks. I took care of the house while they were away and sometimes stayed overnight. I have experience with dogs that need to be on a tight leash in certain scenarios, and experience allowing them to just have fun in safe spaces. With well-behaved dogs, I've gone on runs in the forest and been able to have them off-leash. I love having a buddy! I care a lot about maintaining the boundaries and rules around how you have trained your pet and keeping their routines. I manage an office nearby Monday thru Thursday, flexible Fridays. The morning walks are reliable and I can message you specifics and sort your dog’s and my schedule around it :) Most days, the afternoon walk can be configured into the schedule. We have a larger yard and no pets living in the house. My sisters nearby both have friendly dogs if yours would like some pals. Some days are busier or have a tighter walk schedule for me, but usually just 2 weekdays, which is why this works for me! I love taking dogs to different adventures like the Fells or games in my backyard, or just hanging out and cuddling :)

I’m a 31 years old Brazilian folk that works with art so I have plenty of free time on my daily basis. I was raised with 4 dogs in Brazil, but unfortunately don’t own one. I have more than 10 years of experience in dog walking, pet sitting and pet boarding. I’m a makeup artist that has a side job as freelancer for selling makeup products but trying to work with pets more after a year of not doing so. I used to dog walk and pet sit by myself but stopped after some health issues (I’m healed now) and I’m trying to do only on Rover. I’ve signed up a few years back and did only one sitting but deleted the app. I know CPR and First Aid for pets so your best friend would be safe in my hands (if any natural incident ever comes to happen). I have experience with bigger (such as Great Dane) and smaller dogs (chihuahua), with elderly and puppies (as well as how to better train their behavior), with aggressive and non aggressive dogs, I’ve split fights before and also know some how to teach your dog to behave and walk better outside with other dogs. I used to work for a dog trainer and have learned some things that could help them. I’m currently working part time free lance for makeup brands and make my own schedule so I’d have plenty of time to spend with your furrriend. If I’m pet sitting I usually would make my schedule in a way that I’d have time to walk the dog a few hours a day, twice or 3 times a day and sleep with them. If dog walking I’d walk them for 30min, if allowed I’d love to bring them to a leashed hike if nearby. I always try to keep myself calm because from all years working with dogs it shows that they feed off people’s energy, I practice yoga and meditation so that way it helps to keep them calm and relaxed. In your home I’d feed and give them water, have them exercise so they spend their energy and they can have a nice sleep. On walks I give them water breaks if too hot and always watch for their behavior.

On my work-from-home days, I’m able to provide plenty of attention, companionship, and breaks for walks or potty time. I’m also available on weekends when I’m around and happy to work with your pet’s routine and needs.
