Hi friends! My name is Maria and alongside being an animal lover I am also a world traveler, conservationist, proud foodie, and recent graduate with a degree in Pre-Veterinary Medicine. I’ve had 10+ years of experience working with all different types of animals, and countless breeds of dogs, cats and various household pets. I worked as a veterinary assistant in my time at undergrad, and that taught me invaluable skills that can be applied toward the safety and care of your pet. I have just come home from 3 months in Thailand volunteering with and learning about the preservation of the endangered Asian Elephant. My next move will be applying for vet school and dreaming of my next travel destination! Please don’t hesitate to reach out for more information regarding myself and/or what I can do for your pet! I’m here to help make you and your pet’s life easier. So looking forward to meeting you and your pet in the future. For the most part my schedule is open, with exceptions to a few random weekends, so I am eager to work around you and your pet’s schedule! Caring for a pet means prioritizing their comfort and safety. This means respecting their space and reading their body language. This also means respecting your home and of boundaries that you have set. By caring for your pet I have earned a level of trust that I have no intention of abusing. Instead I will continue to foster and nurture the special bond that I have with your pet and with you.

Another round of petsitting with Maria, another well-loved and cared for pet who was relaxing without a care in the world when we returned! And we were supplied with lovely updates and photos for every check-in. Excellent work!
Maria did a wonderful job taking care of our dog for the long weekend. She set aside time to do a meet and greet before the booking, sent us daily updates with photos, and even left our place looking cleaner than when we left! She genuinely seemed to enjoy her time with our dog. We (and our dog!) look forward to booking Maria again!
Maria was absolutely wonderful with our two pugs over the long weekend! From the start, she made us feel completely at ease — she sent regular updates and the most adorable pictures that honestly made us smile the whole trip. We could tell our pups were happy, comfortable, and well cared for. When we came home, the house was in perfect condition, exactly as we left it. Maria is reliable, communicative, and clearly a natural with dogs. We will 100% be booking with her again — highly recommend!
Maria was absolutely wonderful with my two cats — she kept us updated with photos and they were clearly relaxed and happy when we got back. I couldn't recommend her more highly and will definitely be booking her again!
Maria was lovely, with this natural, warm energy with mt dog! She had immediate rapport with Mina. She sent me updates and pictures (which made me feel quite secure with a new dog walker). Reliable, kind. Highly recommended!

I’ll be bringing bottled water and snacks with me so your furry friend will be hydrated and motivated! I also love listening to music on my walks, so depending on what type of music your dog may prefer, we can jam to it together on my little speaker!
