About: Hi! My name is Deanna and I am 31 years old. I've been a digital nomad for a few years and recently decided to settle in Massachusetts. I have been caring for furry family members for friends and family since I was a teen. I also grew up with dogs and cats in my household. I have completed more than 25 sits in more than a dozen countries. I'm grateful to say I have met truly wonderful people and animals through pet sitting. I'm an easygoing person who loves traveling, reading, writing, cooking, and any type of creative activity. My "day job" is graphic design, which I do remotely. I'll soon be starting grad school to pursue my Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling. I have experience with pets with special needs including special dietary needs, giving insulin injections, daily grooming, a dog and a cat with a missing limb (these animals are typically just as active as any other!) and pets who were both blind and deaf. I have also cared for high anxiety animals and have a knack for helping them feel at ease through maintaining calmness, giving lots of love, and consistency. I am a self employed graphic designer, so my hours and schedule are flexible. This allows me to spend more time doing things that I genuinely enjoy, and caring for animals brings me a lot of joy. It's important to me to create a safe and loving environment for your pet(s). Following the instructions you provide allows me to create structure to help your pet feel safe within the boundaries of their normal routine while you are away. I love to give them lots of love and attention, making them feel like they have made a new family member until you return.

I love seeing the way she greets cats in gentle kindness and is infinitely observant of their behavior. She is always ready to go on a walk and a play with dogs. And from cats to dogs, fish to frogs she has a breath of experience. On top of that she has a flexible schedule and is ready in a pinch or at the drop of a hat.”

About: I pay very close attention to a pet's care needs so if there are specific instructions for their treatment, I will ensure that it is followed and managed appropriately. I'm currently working full time on a hybrid schedule. I go to the office 3 days a week and the other two days are spent at home when I am remote. On the weekends, my schedule is mostly flexible unless I have plans to attend to. Although I have a cat, he is friendly and I would follow the proper protocol for introducing a new pet into the home. If the dog is known not to get along with other animals, I would put my cat into a room and keep the two pets separated for the duration of boarding & care in the home.

“Alexander is a great dog sitter. I have a dog mixed terrier schnauzer who he takes really good care of. I am working everyday (except Saturday and Sunday) and while I’m gone he takes my dog out every morning at 7AM then cleans him feeds him and brushes his teeth. In the afternoon they go out for a hour and a half which is awesome my dog is extremely high energy so he has to go out every day it’s incredible to have a dog sitter/ walker that I can trust to take care of my cute fur ball. P.S he also dustes my floors my dog sheds a lot and makes sure the food bowl and water bowl are clean before leaving.”
