About: I've been around animals my entire life and have experience with both dogs and cats. I volunteered at the SPCALA animal shelter for several years, helping care for animals of all ages and personalities. I grew up with two cats and have also fostered pets, giving me experience helping animals adjust to new environments. I had a beloved dog who lived into her 20s, and my family recently foster-failed our newest dog. After recently moving to the area, I'm away from my dog and definitely missing having animals around every day. Caring for pets brings me so much joy, and I would love the opportunity to give your pets the same love, attention, and care that I've always given my own. I am currently on summer break from my teaching position and working remotely, which gives me a very flexible schedule throughout the week. Because my work is portable, I can be available for walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and companionship during hours when many sitters may be unavailable. My schedule allows me to give pets plenty of attention and care rather than just quick check-ins. As a teacher, I am responsible, patient, detail-oriented, and comfortable following routines, all of which translate well to providing dependable care for your pets. Whether I am caring for pets in my home or in a client's home, my priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while maintaining their normal routine as much as possible. I live in a spacious apartment in a safe, pet-friendly neighborhood near a lake, which provides a great environment for walks, exercise, and enrichment. Potty breaks are easy and frequent since I live on the second floor with quick access outside. I make sure pets have plenty of attention, playtime, fresh water, feeding according to their schedule, and lots of affection. I understand that every pet has different needs and personalities, so I am happy to follow any instructions regarding routines, medications, exercise, training, or special care. When caring for pets in a client's home, I treat both the pets and the home with the same respect and care that I would my own.

About: I have been a pet lover all my life! Because I live in a condo with no yard, my family and I agreed it is not fair to have any pets. As a compromise, we offer to pet sit for our family and friends every chance we get. I have taken care of new born kittens, cats of all ages, small and medium sized dogs as well as blind dogs. I am very comfortable with dogs and truly love them! I love to play, walk and snuggle! As a graduate student I have free time during the day to care for your pets and I live in a pet friendly home for your overnight needs. It would bring me great joy to take care of your pets!

“Kerri has been walking Zuko (mostly) daily for about a month and she has been wonderful! We have a flexible schedule and she is extremely responsive, Zuko loves her and has great fun on their walks. She is always prepared with extra poop bags and is always willing to refill his water or feed him lunch or give him a treat before leaving if ever I’ve requested it! If you need a regular walker in the area I’d definitely recommend her!”

About: I have experience caring for dogs of all shapes and sizes and with all different needs! I’m currently in graduate school online and will be working as a substitute teacher, so I’ll have lots of time to take care of your pets! Generally, I am available mid morning to late evenings but will try to accommodate based on your needs. I am also often available for last minute bookings, so feel free to check in! I have a flexible work schedule and am home most days of the week, making it easy for me to check in on your dog, go for a walk, or care for your pup while staying with me! I always follow the dog’s lead and get to know their personality to the extent possible. I approach any type of pet care with patience and flexibility, knowing not every dog is the same. Whether your pup is anxious and shy or playful and trusting, I want to meet them where they are. I’ll also stick closely to your instructions, be communicative and send lots of photos!
