About: Spent extensive time caring after my families dogs & cats as well as the pets of my neighborhood. I also look after my friends cats and dogs of Boston and Maine. Comfortable with walking, playing with, feeding, and even some light training with dogs. I don’t have certifications with dog training but I would be happy to reinforce training you do with them for some light commands. I work in sales in a fairly fluid environment. I spend some time at home and the rest of my time around the city and greater Boston. Drop in pet care/walking fits perfectly into my schedule as I can work from my computer and travel when needed. I do have a fenced in yard but I’m not currently accepting pet care in my own home outside of the critters I already have. I may open up to this in the future but I do use a lot of space In my car already.
About: I have had cats my whole life- growing up there were times when we had up to four cats at once, I believe. I have a cat now, as well. I also have some experience walking and caring for dogs, though not nearly as much as I have with cats. I am always willing to learn, though! And I really love walking dogs, it's fun to see where they want to take you, and to have a little buddy as a person who already loves walking probably as much as dogs do. I am unemployed for the month of July (and the rest of June), so I've got lots of time to spend with your pets! Though I am relocating to the Arlington, MA area in mid July. About: I have been around animals all my life. Grew up in the rural Midwest surrounded by dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, turtles, in addition to the cows, pigs, chickens, and horses at nearby farms. I love animals and have helped care for them all my life. I am comfortable with all kinds and sizes of dogs and love getting them out on walks/hikes and playing with them, snuggling with them indoors as well. I adore dogs and remain calm, letting them get used to me before trying to engage...letting them set the stage or lead the way. About: I am a freelance artist by trade, I'm looking to earn some supplementary by putting to good use my love of animals and experience as a lifetime pet owner. I have been the primary caretaker for animals basically my whole life, growing up alongside furry siblings as long as I can reliably remember, including several dogs with behavioral issues such as separation anxiety and jealousy problems. My mother trained as a vet tech and taught me a lot, and is always happy to help even now if I need an extra hand or some expert advice. I cannot drive but I can engage in light to moderate dog walking just fine! I use public transport and ridesharing to get around. He was communicative, and met or exceeded every expectation I had. I’ll be happy to have Daniel come take care of my Laura again.
Jade went above and beyond with our dog, Brody. He does require a bit of extra care and Jade took it on without skipping a beat, making us feel that it was no issue at all and additionally watering our plants on top of everything. She was able to alleviate so much stress from my week by treating Brody with such attentiveness, being punctual and being an absolutely exceptional communicator. I cannot wait to work with her again.
