About: I'd love to welcome your dog into our family (with 2 kids, ages 9 and 12) for daytime visits or overnight stays. I am working primarily from home, my calm Beagle-Mini Pin mix Sarah—affectionately called "the meagle"—enjoys having canine companions! With a lifetime of dog ownership experience, I'll ensure your pet receives expert care and plenty of entertainment, including regular walks in our nearby park. Whether you need daytime hosting, walking services, or overnight care, I'm happy to help. I am working primarily from my home office, so I will be available to walk, play with, and keep your dog company throughout the day. I provide at least three daily walks on a nearby walking path, plus additional indoor and supervised backyard play time (on leash, as our yard is unfenced).

About: I worked with LastHopeK9 in fostering and taking care of dogs. I've pet sitted and walked dogs around my neighborhood many times. I've had my own dog who I trained for around 9 years. I'm an animal lover who cares about a dog's well-being and pays attention to their needs. I currently have a part-time internship, so I have plenty of time during the week! Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays I am available all day, as well as most weekends. I would make it a priority on those days to fulfill my duties. I am always respectful and diligent of what the client indicates me to do in their house and with their pet. I respect the owners rules and make sure to follow a routine for their pet, as well as communicate with the client about how it's going.

About: I have petsat: DOG section: 1) a medium sized 50 lb hound mix dog for a month at a time every year for 13 years (over the course of its life time from when she was a puppy to death) whose personality was very energetic and anxious. It needed a lot of exercise everyday, stimulated play, and long walks which I happily enjoyed! But she also needed to be watched carefully to ensure she didn’t scare anybody by playfully jumping on them. She would tug a lot during walks and would get excited seeing other dogs but I’ve always managed to calmly steer her away if aggression showed or if the other person or dog she was meeting showed signs of being uncomfortable. This dog always stayed at my place when I babysat her. Made sure she was fed on time twice a day and provided fresh water everyday. 2) a large 50 lb, 2 year old, Old English Sheepdog (named Cura). House-sat & dog-sat Cura for 10 days in Los Angeles, CA. Highly energetic who needed a lot of exercise everyday. Very obedient and could be taken off leash. But I always establish a level of trust and learn the dog’s mannerisms before taking them off leash in the park or around the apartment/house block. Cura also had a tendency to be scared of aggressive dogs or loud noises so I always maintained a level of reassurance and safety with her. Also had to be aware of the high temperatures in LA (given the summer time), hence I’d walk her early in the morning and late at night. 3) a 5 yr old, 25 lb, hound whippet mixed dog named Phoebe - house sat and babysat her for 12 days. Highly anxious who needed to be administered an anxiety pill every morning and needed constant attention and long walks. 4) A small 5 year old mixed poodle (named Cappy) in San Francisco who loved to cuddle! Took him out for walks twice a day, made sure he had food & water, and kept him company for 10 days while house-sitting. 5) Dog walked a 65 lb, 2 yr old Doberman Pinscher (Kilo) in San Francisco that was very sweet & very vocal but was very eager & loved to pull. If we encountered anyone on our walks that wanted to say hello, I would make sure they were okay with getting close to a Doberman. I never allowed Kilo to get close to anyone or jump on anyone / their dogs without their consent. 6) House sat / pet sat a 5 yr old, 20 lb Cavalier King Charles Spaniel & Miniature Poodle (Cali). Sweet pup that loved to go on walks, play, and cuddle on the couch. 7) House sat for 6 days for 2 dogs - 6 yr old, 40 lb Australian Cattle mixed dog (Jester) and a 2 yr old, 17 lb Korean Jindo (Quincy). 8) House sat a 6 yr old, 55 lb Boxer, Pitbull, Catahoula Cur (Appa) for 2 nights in Boston. Also dropped in to dog walk him on several separate occasions. - DOG & CAT section: 9) an energetic 8 year old pomsky and an 18 yr old cat for 10 days. House-sat the owner’s place the entire time where I had to walk the dog 4 times every day at a set schedule and feed them both & provide medication to the cat at set times. The Pomsky was very energetic so also took the time during the afternoon to play with her when she had the zoomies. And have the cat tummy rubs and butt scratches whenever she requested it. 10) House sat a 13 yr old Shih Tzu (Neo) and a 18 yr old Siamese cat (Timothy). Neo needed medication on a daily basis while Timothy needed 3 different types of medication (one administrated via the ear, and the other 2 orally). Neo needed 3 walks a day and Timothy needed to be fed several times throughout the day (10 small meals at least a day). Both had stubborn personalities but were still very sweet and playful. When they were stubborn, I would be patient and give them time to calm down and then gently but sternly guide them. For example, Neo was stubborn on his walks and I would have to gently guide him to a certain direction; while Timothy was stubborn in refusing to take his 3 medications so I had to be gentle but firm in making sure he consumed his pills and received his ear meds. - CAT section: 11) two cats at a month at a time for the past 5 years. Stayed at the owner’s place every time. Had to be fed at certain times twice a day, gave them treats throughout the day and attention whenever they requested it. Sometimes I would initiate the contact but if the cats weren’t feeling it, they would communicate it and I would stop. They were indoor cats so I also made sure that any windows that were open were secure and they couldn’t slip through. Had no issues of escaped cats. 12) Three different cats from 3 different owners in San Francisco (Uno, Missy Elliot, and Fran). Took the time to get to know each of them and played with them / gave them company while cleaning out their litter box, refreshing their water bowls, and making sure they had food. Also planned my schedule so that I could travel between the places efficiently and was in communication with the owners at all times and they knew about my schedule. Made sure I gave them space and time to get to know me and I got to know their personalities. 13) 2 cats (Jackie & Cannoli) in New York for 18 days, plus house-sat. One was affectionate and loved to cuddle all the time, the other was more cautious and was very talkative. 14) House sat / pet sat for 2 cats in Waltham (Thea & Orion) on 3 different occasions (4 nights, 2 nights, and 2.5 weeks). Cleaned out litter box every day, fed them twice a day, cleaned up any fur ball throw ups, played with them every day, and gave them lots of attention & head/chin scratches. 15) Pet sat a 13 year old, 14 lb cat in Newton (Maxwell) for 9 days. 16) Pet sat a 5 year old, 14 lb cat in Waltham (Carl) for 5 days. 17) Hamsters - babysat them for a week at a time for friends whenever they went out of town. Fed and cleaned the box. Would occasionally bring it out of its cage to let it roam around the room in its ball. 18) I have my own pet - a red eared slider turtle who I claim to be my aquatic dog 😉. He is 18 years old and I got him when he was just the size of a quarter. But he gets excited to see me whenever I enter the room and will follow me in the apartment when I let him out to walk around. He can also recognize me out of a group of people! 19) I have a ton of plants that I have grown in the past 6 years - huge monstera (from a 1 foot baby to now a 7 ft giant with 30 inch wide leaves), verraccusum, constellation monstera, cacti, pothos, glorosium, etc. I’m currently unemployed (taking a hiatus from being an accountant in the corporate world) so I have all the time to take care of your pet(s). Available anytime to feed, walk, play, and assist in providing medication. I have a pet turtle that I’ve had for 18 years that I have by a sunny window. But every other day, I’ll let him out in the apartment to walk around and explore (but he will often just follow me around😊). I currently live in an apartment that doesn’t allow dogs or cats so over the last few years, I’ve always taken care of pets at the owner’s place. Either living at their place or coming to their place at set times to feed and/or walk their pets.

About: I've been doing pet care since I was 8 and have lots of experience with animals of all ages and personalities. Typical animal care from me looks like refilling food and water, walks, cleaning litter boxes, and finding creative ways to keep your animals thoroughly entertained. This summer I'm taking online college classes so my schedule is super flexible. The only set times I'll be busy doing virtual classes are from 11:00-4:30 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Please let me know what times work for you. I will always make sure to keep your dogs on leashes when not in fenced in areas to ensure your pup's safety is accounted for.

I have had many pets and worked in shelters before so Ive seen animals in all their forms. I work at the office Monday thru Friday 8-4. I however have a lot of flexibility with those hours and location depending on the type of care being sought. I follow the rules and guidance of the owner as closely as possible. They know their pet and how to most safely and compassionately care for them.
