I have trained our dogs growing up with my family and spent a lot of time walking and keeping them busy throwing the ball around as my mom was a writer. About: Hi, I’m Sabrina! I’ve been caring for pets for 8 years, and nothing makes me happier than getting to know each animal’s unique personality. I work with both dogs and cats and have experience with everything from tiny puppies to slow‑moving seniors, from shy kitties to big, energetic dogs. I grew up in a family that owned two Shar‑Peis, so I’m very comfortable with stubborn, reactive, or strong‑willed breeds. I understand body language, thresholds, and how to build trust with pets who need a little extra patience. Whether your dog is still learning manners or your cat prefers a quiet observer, I meet every animal where they are. I currently have a very open schedule, so pet care fits easily into my day. About: Along with growing up with two dogs and helping to raise a puppy as a teenager, family friends and neighbors have relied on me to take care of their dogs and cats since I was ten. I've worked with all types of dogs, from Shih Tzus to Pit Bull mixes. I'm the one in my family who takes the dogs out on long hikes (or for short walks around the block once they get older), brushes their teeth and fur, gives them baths, and trims their nails. I'm a regular volunteer at cat shelters in cat care, and as a student on the pre-veterinary track, I have shadowed and volunteered at vet clinics to better understand the care that goes into your pets' health. Besides dogs and cats, I also have experience with a myriad of animals, such as hamsters, rabbits, chinchillas, guinea pigs, mice, fish, hermit crabs, geckos, snakes, tortoises, and turtles. I have experience in preparing special diets for pets and other animals with specific health needs, and in senior dog care. Over the summer, I work at my internships in animal care for much of the work day, but that leaves afternoons, evenings, and early mornings for me to check in on your pets and give any care they need (breakfast/dinner, walks, baths, etc.). Over the school year, I will have more hours available to fit in more time with your pets (i.e. walking and bathing/grooming, more playtime, etc.). As a lover of all creatures, I take the safety of both pets and wildlife seriously. As such, I will always supervise pets that are outside in yards and keep them on leashes outside fenced-off areas so they are not a danger to others or themselves. If transporting pets in my car, I will keep them safe and secure in a carrier/crate. As a college student who has shared living spaces with new people before, I understand the importance of respecting others' belongings and boundaries. During drop-in visits, I will be sure to respect your home and any rules you may have for your comfort (i.e. no shoes in the house, specific dishes/silverware for pets only, general cleanliness, etc.).

About: Growing up my sisters and I started a dog walking business and offered our services to all the neighbors. We walked and played with dogs of all breeds and sizes! I’m currently working as a college softball coach and looking to fill up my my schedule! My schedule varies depending on the season, and my days being wide open in the off-season. I treat all pets like my own, making sure they are fed and played with like I know my Wayne would like. They deserve all the pets!
