About: Hello! My name is Natsuko and I live in Watertown with my fiancée Carson and dog Luna. I’ve lived with and cared for dogs since I was very young, and I’ve gained lots experience with dogs with a wide range of personalities and needs. I’m comfortable with puppy care, including basic leash manners and crate training, and I focus on consistency and positive reinforcement so dogs feel secure while learning. I’ve also lived with dogs who have anxiety or past trauma, and have experience slowly building trust and bonds. I am currently a remote freelancer and this set up gives me great flexibility to spend quality time with my dog Luna during my workday. She LOVES other doggos and would love to play with and go on walks with a new friend! We typically go on short pee breaks once every three hours and go on two long walks every day. My schedule is very flexible so I am confident I can accommodate for the bathroom/walk/eating schedules of any dog in my care. We live in a very walkable neighborhood in Watertown with the Fresh Pond loop a quick walk away! There are many options to take dogs out for a short or long walk. In our home, we have nice open spaces for dogs to play with each other and with toys. Since we have a dog of our own, we have dog proofed our whole home. Our dog Luna loves playing with other dogs and has had no issues with socializing. If a dog in my care needs a break from playtime or gets overstimulated, we have options to separate the dogs if needed since Luna is crate trained and we have many rooms for the dogs to use.

About: A lot of my experience comes from caring for my girlfriend's two dogs, who are basically my two best friends—a Japanese Chin and a Lhasa-Poo. Whenever her parents are out of town, I'm usually the one taking care of them. We've even watched them for weeks at a time while their family was traveling, so I'm comfortable with everything from feeding and walks to playtime, keeping them on their routine, and making sure they get plenty of attention. I've also known our Lhasa-Poo since she was a puppy. I work from home, so I'm around throughout the day and have a very flexible schedule. That means I can take dogs out for regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and make sure they're never left alone for long. I love staying active, so I'm always happy to fit in extra walks or outdoor time if your pup enjoys it. I also welcome boarding on most weekends, unless I'm out of town, which isn't very often. My goal is to make sure your dog feels comfortable, gets plenty of attention, and sticks to their normal routine while you're away. I live in a very dog-friendly apartment, and I'm very used to sharing my space with dogs. I help care for my girlfriend's two pups regularly, so having dogs around the house is something I'm completely comfortable with. About: Along with growing up with two dogs and helping to raise a puppy as a teenager, family friends and neighbors have relied on me to take care of their dogs and cats since I was ten. I've worked with all types of dogs, from Shih Tzus to Pit Bull mixes. I'm the one in my family who takes the dogs out on long hikes (or for short walks around the block once they get older), brushes their teeth and fur, gives them baths, and trims their nails. Over the summer, I work at my internships in animal care for much of the work day, but that leaves afternoons, evenings, and early mornings for me to check in on your pets and give any care they need (breakfast/dinner, walks, baths, etc.). Over the school year, I will have more hours available to fit in more time with your pets (i.e. walking and bathing/grooming, more playtime, etc.). As a lover of all creatures, I take the safety of both pets and wildlife seriously. As such, I will always supervise pets that are outside in yards and keep them on leashes outside fenced-off areas so they are not a danger to others or themselves. If transporting pets in my car, I will keep them safe and secure in a carrier/crate. As a college student who has shared living spaces with new people before, I understand the importance of respecting others' belongings and boundaries. About: I have worked with farm animals including dogs and cats for about 2 years and I own a dog and a cat! I also love interacting with animals. I am looking for a simple job to keep me active and be able to give back to my community. I would love to care for animals of all shapes and sizes while also ensuring your home and pets are safe. In my home, we have a big backyard with plenty of room for dogs and a whole separate cat room. Within another person's house I would be respecting boundaries put up around the house and being consistent and well aware of clean up! I also love getting out, which would be favorable for a dog.

Our dog Clark has stayed with him multiple times now (both for a shorter weekend and a longer stay while we were on vacation) and each time comes home absolutely exhausted and happy as could be! Prior to Michael, we only left Clark with family or friends, but he made us feel so comfortable and it’s clear Clark has the time of his life playing with other dogs.
