About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 9, and probably even younger! I grew up with a Black Lab who was the sweetest boy. About: As much as I love playing with puppies I have a fondness for senior dogs. I have spent more time caring for senior dogs and enjoy being around them. I worked nights and was always available for vet appointments. My dog Nicholas went to aquatherapy often and my Pug did acupuncture. I have cared for dogs needing meds, diaper changes, extra lifts, & short walks that required a long time. I often had dogs that needed fresh or homemade food and lots of treats & love. Being retired I am often home working on projects. I also am fortunate to have friends all over the country. I go to their homes and care for their pets while they vacation. I currently have no pets. I live 50ft to the paths along the Charles River. It is a great place to walk dogs. We come upon small wildlife, other dogs and lots of joggers. Some dogs still get excited need some training and treats. I have spent hours out there sitting with pets.

Julia is amazing! I was in a bind on Saturday because I had work and my mom was out all day, so I turned to Rover, not sure if anyone would be available so last minute AND on a weekend. Not only was Julia available; but she also responded almost immediately to me on the app and was more than happy to walk my dog, Bear. Bear is a very sweet and loves people, but is a rambunctious dog, who is slightly leash-aggressive. Julia showed up on time, kept me updated and sent me pictures of their time together. She even taught Bear a few tricks to being less aggressive on leash! She is very professional and warm and I can tell she loves my dog.
