About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a young girl. Growing up, I’ve owned and been trusted to watch a wide range of pets, but I love being around dogs of all ages! I’m currently a graduate student, with classes only taking up half of my week, so I have multiple days I can devote to pet care! Usually, Thursdays/Fridays/Saturdays are my pet days. When entering your home, respect is my top priority. It’s a privilege to be let into your space, and I will respect your home and pet as if they were my own.

About: Hi! I'm a lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages and personalities. I grew up with two family dogs, spent two years walking dogs through Wag!, and now have a dog of my own who I trained myself using positive reinforcement. In addition to professional dog walking, I've also cared for the dogs of family and friends, whether that meant walks, drop-in visits, or overnight care. I understand that every dog has their own personality and routine, and I always take the time to make them feel comfortable, safe, and cared for. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. Whether your pup needs an energetic walk, plenty of playtime, or just some extra love and attention while you're away, I'm committed to providing dependable, compassionate care and keeping you updated along the way. I have a flexible schedule and do my best to accommodate my clients' needs whenever possible. I understand how important consistency is for dogs, so I'm committed to being reliable, punctual, and communicating clearly if anything comes up. Whether your pup needs a midday walk or regular weekly visits, I'll make sure they receive the care and attention they deserve. Your dog's safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each dog's routine, personality, and any special instructions before every visit. During walks, I stay alert to our surroundings, use secure leash handling, and make sure your pup gets plenty of exercise while staying safe. I'll also send photo updates so you can feel confident your dog is happy and well cared for.

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover and have been caring for cats and dogs on Rover for about three years. I also shared my life with a beautiful cat for 16 years, and through her health challenges, I learned a lot about patience, empathy, and attentive care. I believe the key to connecting with animals is to respect and appreciate them in a gentle, thoughtful way, that’s what allows me to build real trust and closeness with them. I am a graduate student with relatively flexible schedules. I will be available during day times when I am not having classes and most of the nights. I can offer cat sitting, giving food and medicine, socialization, cleaning the litter, etc. I can also walk, groom and give food to small and medium sized dogs.

About: I’ve been caring for pets and animals since as far back as I can remember! Once I got my very own pets (a dog and two cats) outside of my family home, it became a whole new world of understanding what it takes to train and care for fur babies. My sweet Aussie, Poppy, like most, is high-energy and anxious, but getting her at just 8 weeks old gave me the opportunity to dive into the world of dog behaviorism and training. She has come leaps and bounds from the over-excited, reactive pup she was, and the work that goes into helping a dog feel more calm and confident in the world means a lot to me. I've worked with dog trainers and have researched for countless hours to understand how and why dogs and cats behave the way they do to give my own the best lives possible, and I would love to take the same care with your own fur baby! I have a flexible WFH schedule on Mondays and Thursdays, as well as weekend availability, that gives me the opportunity to fit in extra walks / visits with new fur babies! I'm comfortable administering medication, crating dogs, cleaning litter boxes, etc. as needed! If it has to do with the day-to-day for cats or dogs, it's all good with me! I do appreciate detailed instructions to make sure that I take the best possible care to follow the routines you already have in place with your pets :)

Kristen was absolutely terrific. Our old dog has to spend long days alone when we are at work and Kristen came to visit her for walks and friendship while we were gone. She always sent wonderful updates about their adventures and was clearly very sweet to our old girl in addition to getting her some exercise. She even brought her a toy and left us a sweet card. I can't say enough about Kristen and how much we appreciated her. I can enthusiastically recommend her to anyone who wants peace of mind knowing that their pet will be well loved and cared for.

About: As a lifelong pet lover and daughter of a vet tech, I have lots of experience spending time with and caring for cats and dogs of all ages. All through my life my family has had pets and we often fostered animals, especially kittens and puppies, at my home. As I renter I haven’t been able to have dogs of my own since moving out of my family’s house. Our dogs are the highlight of visiting home and I would love the opportunity to care for your dogs while you are away! I work from home during the day with a very flexible schedule. I could make some visits in the mornings, but I am mostly available in the evenings during the week and all day Friday - Sunday. I might have more time around the holidays, as well. I can also housesit if I have notice since I can work from anywhere. I’m not able to host any pets at my home due to having my own spicy kitties, but I’m happy to housesit or do drop in visits or walks. Let me know what you are looking for and I’m happy to help!

About: I’ve grown up caring for pets, including dogs, cats, and hamsters, so being around animals has always been a big part of my life. What sets me apart is how much attention I give to making each pet feel comfortable, safe, and genuinely cared for. I know every pet has their own personality and routine, so I take the time to learn what makes them happiest—whether that’s lots of playtime, long walks, cuddles, or simply having someone nearby. I’ll treat your pet like they’re my own and make sure they get plenty of love and attention while you’re away. I’m also happy to send regular photos and updates so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and in good hands. My goal is for you to come home to a pet who feels just as loved and cared for as when you left! 🐾❤️ I’m currently a student, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability between classes and during breaks. I’m able to plan my day around walks, feeding, playtime, check-ins, and other pet care needs, and I’m happy to work with each owner’s preferred routine. I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for by following their normal routines and any instructions provided by their owner. I keep their environment clean and secure, provide plenty of attention and playtime, and make sure they have fresh food and water. I also pay close attention to their behavior and communicate with owners regularly so they know their pet is happy and safe.

About: I love pets! I’ve been taking care of animals since I was a kid, but I got my own dog 5 years ago. I raised my dog since he was a baby, and have trained him. I also have experience walking and feeding neighborhood animals, taking care of all breeds and sizes, and I am great at following instructions. I will make sure your dog is loved and taken care of as if it was my own. I am a recent college graduate who just finished an internship. During the last few months I have helped a housemate with taking care of their dog by walking and feeding him, and I fell in love. Living out of my home state I miss my own dog, Bobby, a lot, but by helping out other pet owners I feel better. My schedule is incredibly flexible and I am willing to adjust based on you and your pet’s needs. Whether it be a walk, play time, or just cuddling on the couch, I will make sure your pet is loved and taken care of during my time with them! I have had my own dog for 5 years and he operates well on a scheduled routine. When caring for other dogs I typically like to follow the instructions of the owner. I also understand that sometimes pets can have a lot of energy and I am always willing to match whatever vibe they have.

About: Hi there! I’ve been caring for animals my whole life—dogs, cats, bunnies, fish… you name it! Growing up as the go-to pet sitter in my New Hampshire hometown, I’ve had the joy of looking after pets of all kinds, ages, sizes, and personalities. Now based in Boston, I’m excited to connect with new furry friends and provide them with the same love and attention I’d give my own. I’m patient, responsible, and truly passionate about animals. Whether your pet needs a walk, a cuddle buddy, or just someone to keep them company while you’re away, I’m here to help! Let’s make your pet’s day a little brighter! I’m currently a graduate student, with most of my classes and commitments happening Monday through Wednesday. That means I’m wide open Thursday through Sunday to spend quality time with your pets! I also have flexibility throughout the week, so if you need a quick drop-in or walk outside of those days, just reach out—I’m happy to make it work! My experience caring for pets has taught me that safety always comes first. Whether we’re at home or out for a walk, I’m always mindful of the little things that make a big difference—double-checking that doors are secure, food is stored safely, leashes are properly fastened, and any potential hazards are out of reach. Your pet’s well-being is my top priority every step of the way.

About: Long-term animal owner, I responsible, caring, pay close attention to detail, I like to establish trust and mutual respect with animals, with being attentive to their needs, and responding accordingly, but not spoiling! I'm newly relocated to Boston after graduate school, looking for jobs in research and science, so I have plenty of time to care for pets. Keeping my rates low because I will prefer house sits: pet care in exchange for accommodation, as I'm also looking for apartments in the area, so getting to know different areas of Boston is a huge plus! I cannot say enough good things about Roshni ! When my regular dog walker broke her leg, I needed a last-minute dog walker, and Roshni graciously stepped in. From the start, the communication was great. I received prompt updates and photos that gave me peace of mind while I was away. From the pics, it was clear that Roshni bonded with Betsy and my pup was relaxed, and happy when I returned. Roshni is reliable, professional, and wonderful with dogs!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
