“Michelle was a wonderful and communicative walker. She made me feel comfortable by accepting a meet and greet beforehand. My dog warmed up to her easily and the walk went nicely.”
“Jana continues to be the most reliable and thoughtful walker for my elderly dog, Mochi! She is always considerate of my old girl's needs.... taking it slow when it is hot out and making sure that Mochi gets to sniff and roll in cool grass (her favorite activity!) My dog clearly loves her visits from her favorite auntie, Jana!”

“Nicholas was great with our very energetic, high-maintenance pup! He was very accommodating to a last minute request and I could tell Hazel was tired out after their walks together!!”

“Sydney is absolutely great with our dog Jack! She’s always on time, provides updates, and genuinely enjoys her time with him. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for dog walking services!”

“Susie is so nice to our pup; and extremely reliable! She communicates very effectively and we always get such good pics of our dog on walks! Would highly recommend”

“Traci has been perfect for our girl. We are so grateful that she was able to take Cora for a walk on such short notice. She then helped create a plan for us as we only adopted Cora a week ago! We look forward to hopefully many more walks with Traci.”

“Diane is always attentive to our dog’s needs and is good at communicating how our dog has behaved during the walk. It’s so nice to know how my dog is when I’m not around. I highly recommend Diane.”

About: Growing up my sisters and I started a dog walking business and offered our services to all the neighbors. We walked and played with dogs of all breeds and sizes! I’m currently working as a college softball coach and looking to fill up my my schedule! My schedule varies depending on the season, and my days being wide open in the off-season. I treat all pets like my own, making sure they are fed and played with like I know my Wayne would like. They deserve all the pets!
About: I’ve worked in doggy daycare, I’ve trained my grandmother’s puppy, ✨I have a certificate in basic knowledge of dog body language✨, will clean up all accidents, I’m comfortable & capable of taking care of all dog sizes, and most importantly - I will make sure your furry friend has the best time! I’m extremely loving towards dogs and super passionate in making sure they’re happy :) After all, they unconditionally care for us - it’s only fair we give them the same respect. I take great pleasure in making sure your companion is safe and fully fended for while you’re away! I work a part-time job currently, but I get to choose my own schedule and can tailor it to fit your needs! I’m also a full-time college student but have acclaimed time management skills. *Please note that Rover only lets me choose day availability. You may request a day that appears open, but my availability is dependent on the specific times that you select.* I’ll feed your pet/s, frequently give water when needed, make sure they get playtime, take them outside to go potty (or help them to go inside if you prefer pads), give treats on good behavior (if permitted), and overall make sure you have a happy pup :)

About: Hi, I’m Sabrina! I’ve been caring for pets for 8 years, and nothing makes me happier than getting to know each animal’s unique personality. I work with both dogs and cats and have experience with everything from tiny puppies to slow‑moving seniors, from shy kitties to big, energetic dogs. I grew up in a family that owned two Shar‑Peis, so I’m very comfortable with stubborn, reactive, or strong‑willed breeds. I understand body language, thresholds, and how to build trust with pets who need a little extra patience. Whether your dog is still learning manners or your cat prefers a quiet observer, I meet every animal where they are. I currently have a very open schedule, so pet care fits easily into my day. I’m home most of the time and can adjust to your pet’s routine, whether you need morning, midday, or evening visits. I care for pets in their own home so they can stay relaxed in a familiar space. I follow your routines exactly, keep your home secure, and double‑check doors and gates before leaving. I’m respectful of your space and send updates so you always know your pet is safe and comfortable.
About: I’m a lifelong animal lover and have been caring for cats and dogs on Rover for about three years. I also shared my life with a beautiful cat for 16 years, and through her health challenges, I learned a lot about patience, empathy, and attentive care. I believe the key to connecting with animals is to respect and appreciate them in a gentle, thoughtful way, that’s what allows me to build real trust and closeness with them. I am a graduate student with relatively flexible schedules. I will be available during day times when I am not having classes and most of the nights. I can offer cat sitting, giving food and medicine, socialization, cleaning the litter, etc. I can also walk, groom and give food to small and medium sized dogs.
About: Ive taken care of cats/dogs since I was younger for neighbors, friends and family! they have relied on me to walk and feed their pets. I love going on walks and would make sure every pets need is catered for I live in a house with three other roommates, there is alot of space for the dog to play with. The house does have a fence.

About: I have years of experience dog sitting large breed puppies and senior dogs. I am comfortable administering medication to animals. Additionally, I have significant experience caring for service dogs. I am a recent graduate with an abundance of free time, particularly over the summer. Other than the infrequent trip, I am available 7 days a week for pet care! I treat your home with the upmost respect, leaving as clean or cleaner than when I arrived. Additionally, I value your privacy and will maintain professionalism at all times.
“Johnna is fantastic. My dog, Miso, was instantly comfortable with her (and she's not a dog that warms up to everyone). Johnna clearly has a way with animals. She was also wonderful about following all the directions involved in walking a dog who can be challenging. We are very happy to have found Johnna!”

“Claudia is our routine sitter once a week but truly came through this week when we had extra needs. Claudia is prompt, organized, thoughtful and kind. Our boys love when she comes to walk them. She goes above and beyond for our boys.”

We’ve left many reviews for Susie, all of which have been A++, and this will be another one of those. Our border collie struggles with new people, but she has always loved Susie from moment one. I think it is her calm demeanor and confidence — our pup really responds to it. We love Susie and look forward to seeing her again soon!

Amy is truly a dog-lover and takes the utmost care when walking or sitting my dog, Lucy. It’s apparent by just how excited Lucy is to see her! I’ve been lucky to have Amy as a neighbor, she’s very accommodating when i need to arrange a last minute walk. She always takes the cutest photos and sends updates - very thoughtful and considerate. I cannot recommend Amy enough.

Priscilla is reliable, kind, and a great communicator. She even went above and beyond when my dog Milo ended up with a tummy ache while in her care. I loved all the pictures she sent and felt at ease knowing Milo was in good hands. I would definitely hire her again!

Wendy’s great with Bebe! I love that she can always accommodate my last-minute requests. She has walked Bebe a few times, and Bebe always has a great time with her. Wendy always makes sure she’s okay after the walk and feeds her if needed. I really appreciate how reliable and caring she is!

I’m so happy we found Jeremy to care for our dog! He is attentive and very communicative. I also loved that he thinks ahead of time. For example knowing it would rain he asked us to leave a towel to dry Jackson knowing he would get wet. We’ll definitely ask for his services again!

Angelica was absolutely wonderful with Boomer and Simba! She was on time, available on short notice, and made the whole experience stress-free. The dogs were so excited to see her and clearly enjoyed their walks. It’s obvious she genuinely cares about animals, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again. Highly recommend!

Hannah was wonderful to work with. I have on very social dog and one that is very anxious. She did a great job working with both dogs and their individual needs. Hannah is responsive, communicative, and responsible. She sent numerous photos and updates, and wasn’t afraid to ask questions in the moment. I will definitely book with her again.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
