About: I’ve been around dogs for over a decade—starting with my family dog and now as the owner of a rescue dog of my own. Most of my experience has been with smaller dogs (25 lbs or less), but I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I regularly walk my dog around Newton and Cold Spring Park, and I’m familiar with local dog parks (both fenced and off-leash). I prioritize safe, attentive walks and make sure each dog gets plenty of exercise, enrichment, and affection—whether that’s playtime, cuddles, or just keeping them company. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and administering oral medication, and I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and gentle care. As a Rover user myself, I know how important trust and communication are. I provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident and connected while your pet is in my care. To ensure the highest level of attention and comfort, I care for one dog or cat at a time. I work from home most days, so pet care fits naturally into my routine. I’m available for drop-in visits or walks around lunchtime, and again in the late afternoon and evening after the kids are done with school or camp. I enjoy building time into my day to give pets the attention, consistency, and care they need—and making sure they feel comfortable and well cared for while you’re away. About: I am a recent college grad spending some time on my own, but greatly missing my pets! I have experience with all kinds of animals including medically complex pets, seniors, puppies, doodles and other hairy friends, and more! I am a part time intern working about 20 hours per week looking for some friends to fill my downtime. I can look after your animals any time of day with this flexibility. Good for weekdays and weekends! I follow a strict schedule with animals. Feeding routines, walks, treats, and training are all scheduled and followed to a T in my household. This makes it easy for me to apply these in other households.

Eliza communicates clearly and responsively, and tailors Henry’s walk according to any special instructions we give her. She always sends a report card with info about the walk afterward and a snapshot showing Henry at some point in the walk. About: I’ve been caring for pets and animals since as far back as I can remember! Once I got my very own pets (a dog and two cats) outside of my family home, it became a whole new world of understanding what it takes to train and care for fur babies. My sweet Aussie, Poppy, like most, is high-energy and anxious, but getting her at just 8 weeks old gave me the opportunity to dive into the world of dog behaviorism and training. She has come leaps and bounds from the over-excited, reactive pup she was, and the work that goes into helping a dog feel more calm and confident in the world means a lot to me. I've worked with dog trainers and have researched for countless hours to understand how and why dogs and cats behave the way they do to give my own the best lives possible, and I would love to take the same care with your own fur baby! I have a flexible WFH schedule on Mondays and Thursdays, as well as weekend availability, that gives me the opportunity to fit in extra walks / visits with new fur babies! I'm comfortable administering medication, crating dogs, cleaning litter boxes, etc. as needed! If it has to do with the day-to-day for cats or dogs, it's all good with me! About: I have never owned a dog myself, but I have always taken care of my friend’s dogs when they go out somewhere. I also like to know what your dogs like before I take them anywhere, so I can plan ahead on what to do! If you would like to know more about me, let me know! I currently work at an office job, so I am mostly available on the weekends. There are some days in which I can be flexible when house sitting, but it depends on my schedule! If the house sitting is through the weekdays, then I will be able to do so, but I will be out of the house for 7-8 hours. I work from home on Monday and Friday, so I can be more consistent in giving breaks. I make sure that I double check everything around me for safety for the dog and myself. I try to have a schedule with the dogs and make sure that they have everything that they need.

About: I don't just love my cat, Pinto, I also respect him as a living being. I don't push his buttons and I'm constantly working to make him feel more safe and comfortable. Your pets will receive the same love and attention from me! I'm taking a hiatus from my fulltime job and I just moved to a new area of the city, petsitting will allow me to get out and explore the neighborhood and meet cute creatures! I'm good at following instructions and respecting pets' spaces, I'll be checking in with the owners and giving constant updates. I take my cat's safety seriously and I do worry a lot, I have a camera to monitor him when I'm at work, and before I leave I remove any objects that could possibly harm my cat.
