“Kim treats my dog Ziggy with care and affection - and her 2 dogs are perfect companions/company for Ziggy to play with. She really understands the needs of dogs and I feel 100% comfortable with her care. I also look forward to receiving her cute, playful photos with colorful captioning..”

“Holly and her household were amazing with Ziggy! Holly provided regular updates and photos - and it was clear Ziggy was so happy! This was one of our best experiences with dog boarding on Rover yet, and we will definitely be booking with Holly again! Highly recommend!”

“Left our dog for 2 nights with Jing, Received numerous pics showing our dog interacting with her dogs and her family, very reassuring. At pick up our dog was very calm and seemed comfortable in her new surroundings, much better than when I’ve picked her up from other boarding situations. We will definitely be using Jing in the future.”

“I would highly recommend Julie. She watched my golden retriever for a weekend while I was out of town. She send frequent updates and photos which I loved. Julie clearly loves dogs very much and that is evident in how well she takes care of them.”

“What a wonderful experience I had on vacation knowing my Tuna was safe with a kind and loving person! I received daily photo messages, sometimes two. Always kept informed and in the loop with what his day to day was looking like, from watching movies to playing with this really gross toy he is obsessed with. We will definitely be back for future trips. Thanks Barbara!”

“Maizy came home from her visit with Whitney very relaxed. She seems to have enjoyed her time there. Whitney asked a lot of questions before we left Maizy with her, so I felt confident that she was going to take good care of her. She also responded immediately to all of my texts. Whitney and David are very calm and kind which is just what Maizy needs to feel comfortable in an unfamiliar place. I would definitely trust them again!”

“Kira and her husband do the best job of taking care of our pup. They routinely provide updates and photos, and are incredibly reliable. Our dog feels at home with them.”

“Kathy was so accommodating and responsive! And she sent pictures of Frankie all day long to keep us posted. It was Frankie’s first experience in a house with cats so we were a bit worried, but everything worked out great and all the animals lived in harmony. We will definitely book again!”

“Cannot speak highly enough of Eddy and his team! We have an 11-month-old goldendoodle (Waffles) who we needed to board for a week. It was his first time away from home without us — a new experience for our dog and a slightly nerve-racking one for me as a first-time dog owner. However, Eddy’s incredible care and service made this a smooth experience for both of us. He was kind enough to let us do a trial daycare run in advance so Waffles could get comfortable, gave us free pickup and drop-off, and made sure we got regular updates on how Waffles was doing. The updates in particular were fantastic. We got photos, videos, and were able to ask questions about how he was doing. It was incredibly fun and meaningful to follow his journey over the week from shy first-day-of-school vibes to forming an inseparable three musketeers trio with a maltipoo and corgi!! Waffles is back home now, tired and happy in the best of ways. Thank you, Eddy and team, for everything!!”

“This is the second time Jennifer has watched our pup Tashi. She was also able to watch his buddy Murphy, a 13 year old Wheaten Terrier. Murphy is an older pup and needed additional care with more frequent potty outings, 3 different daily hand fed medication, and extra belly rubs! Jennifer did it all and more. She is great with the pups and reached out frequently with questions to ensure things were done correctly. She sends photos and updates through the day. It is so nice and relaxing to know your pup will be well taken care of when you have to be away from them.”

“Big thanks to Robert and Jen for taking care of Cheerio over the weekend. They are very kind hosts and love dogs. They sent photos of Cheerio playing, walking, chilling, we were so happy during our trip that he had lots of fun at Robert's home. We will come back for sure.”

“Andreas took such wonderful care of our small doodle. He seems to genuinely love dogs, and our pup had a great time staying with him. He also sent along many photos and updates of their day. 10/10!”

“François was absolutely fantastic. He went over our routine with Atlas and took Atlas for multiple long walks - Atlas was in heaven. François kept us up-to-date on their activities together and was easy to communicate with!”

“Dana was amazing! This was our first time using Rover and were nervous to leave our pup with someone new (he was previously not a fan of being boarded). However, from initial message I could tell Dana knew what he was doing. We did a meet and greet before our dog’s stay and Dana was very thorough with how he operates when he is taking care of a dog, which certainly made me feel comfortable. Dana is also super laid back and more than willing to accommodate our slight adjustments in our pick up time. Our dog looked very comfortable with Dana and when we went to pick him up our dog did not want to leave. We will definitely have our pup stay with Dana in the future!”

“Eileen was great all around! My dog is very small and she took precautions to make sure he was safe and comfortable around her other dogs. She sent tons of updates and always responded quickly.”

“Pamela was a fantastic caregiver for our dog, Elke. I got regular updates and photos while we were away. She even went the extra mile and replaced a harness that Elke chewed when there was a severe thunder storm! I would highly recommend her!”
“Greta is an amazing dog sitter! She provided lots of updates every day, which gave me so much peace of mind. My dog looked incredibly happy and well cared for throughout the stay. She even gave my dog a bath, which was such a thoughtful offer. Juniper is also absolutely adorable, and it was wonderful that my dog had such a sweet companion to play with. I would highly recommend Greta to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and attentive dog sitter!”

“Our cat Nell loves Claudia! Claudia agreed to stop in and check in on Nell a week before our trip, pretty much at the last minute and we are so grateful. She is easy to communicate with and takes great care of Nell.”

About: I’ve had cats since I was born and grew up taking care of them from the ages of kittens to senior kitties. “Annette did a great job taking care of my cats while I was away. She followed all my instructions perfectly and took some fun pictures of the cats!”

“Meagan was a FANTASTIC sitter. She took meticulous notes of all the instructions and went above and beyond to make sure our kitties felt safe and loved. She was an amazing communicator and sent lots of pictures. We have two shy kitties so sometimes it's hit or miss with sitters, but Maegan took the time to make sure they felt comfortable, gave them lots of treats, and ended up winning both of them over.”

“Nick was great! He was very detailed oriented and made us feel super secure for our boys care as it was our first time utilizing a sitter or Rover. He was very prompt and on time with his visits, always sending us photos and updates. Would highly recommend Nick for your cat care!”

“Great cat sitter. Nadine was highly reliable and was able to care for our elderly cat. She made it a breeze to train her on the cat's med schedule and quirky nature. Highly recommend.”

“Sandra took great care of our normally bashful cat Honey and Honey seems to have really loved Sandra. Sandra was really responsive and always let us know if she had to shift around a check in time. Overall our little cat was in great hands the whole time and we’re really grateful for the time Sandra spent with her.”

“Very impressed with Kathleen’s work ethics, diligence and care. She did exactly what was expected of her, was responsive and caring, and my cat adopted her. I am looking forward to working with her in the future and have already booked her services for our upcoming trips. Cannot recommend her enough!”

“Sabina did an amazing job. Went above and beyond in taking care of my cat even bringing over a comb, some rub in shampoo, and staying extra one day. Truly a great cat sitter!”

They also made me feel comfortable by sending pictures throughout the day to reassure me that she was having a great day. I will definitely hire them again!”

“Jamie was wonderful! Kind, considerate, great communicator. My dog Eddie had such a happy day in her and her family’s care. We definitely look forward to next time!!”

“Shuhua is kind and very professional. Hermes ( my little Yorkie) was very happy with her. She is trust worthy and is a great communicator. I am sure Hermes is missing her companion ship. I will recommend her without any hesitancy. Thank you Sue.”

“Our dog Cav seemed to have a great time at Shuai's daycare. The pick up and drop off process from our home was very easy and convenient and Shuai was very thorough in understanding our Dog's needs in advance and catering to his specific requirements. We received multiple updates and photos throughout the day of Cav playing with other dogs and having fun during his day. As first time dog owners we were very impressed and will use Shuai again soon as needed.”

“Emma was really great! She always sent me updates on how it was going and was flexible about timing with my work schedule. My dog is super shy but she warmed up to Emma quickly :)”

About: Ever since I can remember I’ve always had a dog to take care of. From being a child taking care of my childhood Labrador to raising a Yorkee -poodle all throughout my teenage years, I’ve always been accustomed to having a dog to care for. Since a young age I’ve felt an everlasting love to being around dogs and having them myself. More recently I’ve taken care of various puppies and elderly dogs that require special care, taking care of dogs and walking them is truly something that makes me happy. I am a full time student so my availability is always open throughout the week depending on the timing. Besides school, pet sitting, drop-in visits, and walks is my main priority. Since I have taken care of countless dogs at my apartment, I am more than prepared with various toys, fences, and treats to ensure each pet receives the upmost care.
“Banapsha and Sid were so wonderful with me and Zephyr. I had a last minute request for daycare and they were willing to take us on short notice.. They really went the extra mile to make sure my pup was well taken care of. Banapsha was so kind to keep me updated every few hours with pictures and updates of Zeph. Zeph looked like he had a blast the entire time playing ball and tug. I'm definitely a bit of a helicopter mom when it comes to my pup and Banapsha was up to do a meet and greet beforehand so as to put me at ease since this was our first time together. She asked tons of questions and really took the time to take note of my pups quirks. I could really tell how much she absolutely loved pups and how well Zeph took to her when we met. So so grateful to have found someone I can trust to take care of my pup when I'm away. Ill definitely be back again soon!!!!”
“Tae was terrific! This was the first time that Tae took care of our 2-year-old puppy, Sammy. Tae was very quick to respond, totally flexible, and a pleasure to work with. It was very easy to set up a Meet & Greet, and Sammy and I both felt very comfortable playing together at a park as we got to know Tae and her doodle, Udon. After the daycare, I received a detailed report card with great pictures, and Sammy came home happy and tired. I would highly recommend Tae's services and look forward to the next time that she can care for our pup.”

“Wanda was a terrific dog sitter. This was our puppy Sheva's first overnight away from home, and Wanda (and her own dog Milo) settled her down very quickly. I wouldn't hesitate to call on Wanda again the next time we need someone to watch over Sheva.”

“Claudia is our routine sitter once a week but truly came through this week when we had extra needs. Claudia is prompt, organized, thoughtful and kind. Our boys love when she comes to walk them. She goes above and beyond for our boys.”

About: I’ve been around dogs for over a decade—starting with my family dog and now as the owner of a rescue dog of my own. Most of my experience has been with smaller dogs (25 lbs or less), but I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I regularly walk my dog around Newton and Cold Spring Park, and I’m familiar with local dog parks (both fenced and off-leash). I prioritize safe, attentive walks and make sure each dog gets plenty of exercise, enrichment, and affection—whether that’s playtime, cuddles, or just keeping them company. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and administering oral medication, and I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and gentle care. As a Rover user myself, I know how important trust and communication are. I provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident and connected while your pet is in my care. I’m a great fit for busy working professionals and families who need reliable, thoughtful support, as well as for senior dogs or lower-energy pets who benefit from a calm, consistent environment. To ensure the highest level of attention and comfort, I care for one dog or cat at a time. I work from home most days, so pet care fits naturally into my routine. I’m available for drop-in visits or walks around lunchtime, and again in the late afternoon and evening after the kids are done with school or camp. I enjoy building time into my day to give pets the attention, consistency, and care they need—and making sure they feel comfortable and well cared for while you’re away. I approach pet care with a strong focus on safety, consistency, and trust. I always take the time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, and any specific needs so I can provide care that feels familiar and comfortable for them. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of your space and follow all instructions closely—whether that’s feeding schedules, walking routines, medications, or favorite activities. I’m attentive on walks (leash safety, awareness of surroundings) and make sure pets are secure at all times. In my home, pets are cared for in a calm, clean, and supervised environment. I’m mindful of creating a safe space and ensuring pets feel at ease. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for.

About: I am a recent college grad spending some time on my own, but greatly missing my pets! I have experience with all kinds of animals including medically complex pets, seniors, puppies, doodles and other hairy friends, and more! I am a part time intern working about 20 hours per week looking for some friends to fill my downtime. I can look after your animals any time of day with this flexibility. Good for weekdays and weekends! I follow a strict schedule with animals. Feeding routines, walks, treats, and training are all scheduled and followed to a T in my household. This makes it easy for me to apply these in other households.
“Su was absolutely wonderful with Giro. Giro, that is usually poo shy with new people very quickly felt very comfortable 😃 which is a wonderful sign. Thank you Su! We would definitely love to have you walk Giro again”

About: I’ve been caring for pets and animals since as far back as I can remember! Once I got my very own pets (a dog and two cats) outside of my family home, it became a whole new world of understanding what it takes to train and care for fur babies. My sweet Aussie, Poppy, like most, is high-energy and anxious, but getting her at just 8 weeks old gave me the opportunity to dive into the world of dog behaviorism and training. She has come leaps and bounds from the over-excited, reactive pup she was, and the work that goes into helping a dog feel more calm and confident in the world means a lot to me. I've worked with dog trainers and have researched for countless hours to understand how and why dogs and cats behave the way they do to give my own the best lives possible, and I would love to take the same care with your own fur baby! I have a flexible WFH schedule on Mondays and Thursdays, as well as weekend availability, that gives me the opportunity to fit in extra walks / visits with new fur babies! I'm comfortable administering medication, crating dogs, cleaning litter boxes, etc. as needed! If it has to do with the day-to-day for cats or dogs, it's all good with me! I do appreciate detailed instructions to make sure that I take the best possible care to follow the routines you already have in place with your pets :)
“Jana continues to be the most reliable and thoughtful walker for my elderly dog, Mochi! She is always considerate of my old girl's needs.... taking it slow when it is hot out and making sure that Mochi gets to sniff and roll in cool grass (her favorite activity!) My dog clearly loves her visits from her favorite auntie, Jana!”

“Scout had a great first week with Aaron - she seemed happy with the walks and very comfortable with him. From the human side, he's a good and responsive communicator, and responsible around scheduling and closing up the house. He clearly loves dogs and has a good way with them. Thumbs up!”

About: Hi there! I'm a reliable, compassionate dog lover who understands that every dog deserves patience, kindness, and individualized care. I know that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, and I don't take that responsibility lightly. My goal is to make both you and your dog feel comfortable, safe, and confident every step of the way. I believe dogs are family, and I care for every dog as if they were my own. Whether your pup is energetic and loves long walks, prefers a slower pace, or simply enjoys companionship, I'm happy to adapt to their unique personality, routine, and needs. I pay close attention to details, including feeding schedules, medications, preferred walking routes, potty breaks, and any special instructions you provide. I'm attentive during every walk and visit, always keeping your dog's safety as my top priority. I'll make sure they have plenty of exercise, affection, fresh water, and positive attention while they're with me. I understand that consistency is important, so I do my best to maintain the routine your dog is already familiar with. Communication is also very important to me. I'll keep you updated with photos, messages, and details about how your dog's visit or walk went, so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I want you to know that your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for. Whether your dog loves to play, explore, cuddle, or simply enjoys a calm, reassuring presence, I'm committed to providing a positive experience filled with patience, love, and respect. My goal isn't just to walk dogs—it's to build lasting relationships with both pets and their owners based on trust, reliability, and genuine care. I cared for my miniature Sheltie from his energetic puppy years through his senior years, including helping him navigate severe rheumatoid arthritis with patience, love, and compassion. That experience taught me how important it is to be attentive to each dog's unique needs. I strive to provide every pet with thoughtful, reliable care, treating them like family because that's exactly what they deserve. I would be honored to care for your furry family member, and I look forward to meeting you and your best friend! I recently transitioned from my full-time role as a paralegal at a law firm in downtown Boston and am dedicating my time throughout July and August to caring for pets. This allows me to offer a flexible schedule and give each dog the time, attention, and care they deserve. Whether your pet needs a walk, companionship, or extra attention while you're away, I'm happy to work with your schedule whenever possible. My goal is to provide reliable, attentive care that gives you peace of mind and keeps your dog happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I have a fully fenced yard and live near several parks in Brighton's Oak Square neighborhood, providing plenty of opportunities for safe outdoor exercise and enrichment. I don't currently have a dog of my own, as my beloved Sheltie passed away two years ago, which means any dog in my care will receive my full attention. Whether I'm caring for a pet in my home or in a client's home, I prioritize keeping them comfortable by following their normal routine as closely as possible. I carefully follow feeding schedules, walking routines, medication instructions, and any special care requests. I believe consistency helps dogs feel secure, so I take the time to learn each pet's personality, preferences, and needs. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, and low-stress environment where your dog feels cared for, happy, and at home while you're away.
“Leanne stopped by twice a day during a busy weekend to take care of my dog Freddie. She showed such warmth and love to him from the very start! She took him on walks and spent extra time playing with him in my apartment before leaving without my even asking. I am so grateful to know I could trust her with Freddie while I was busy! Thank you, Leanne!”

About: I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and devoted cat mom. Caring for my own pet has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and attention to detail. “Kim was fantastic! She took the time to meet our dogs beforehand and build trust, especially with one who is very cautious and takes a lot of patience. She went above and beyond in caring for them, and her communication was excellent throughout. Highly recommend!”

About: I grew up surrounded by animals, including dogs and cats, so caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life. Over the past year, I have also walked dogs in my neighborhood and truly love it. I have experience with daily pet care such as walking, feeding, playtime, and providing companionship. I’m attentive to each pet’s individual personality, routine, and needs, and I always prioritize their comfort, safety, and well-being. I treat every pet with patience and care, as if they were my own. I’m currently a student on vacation, so my hours are very flexible throughout the week and weekends, so I can accommodate depending all your pets needs. I provide a safe, clean, and pet-friendly environment where your pet can feel comfortable and secure. I follow all care instructions carefully and supervise pets at all times, making sure their needs are met. I also send regular updates and photos so you can stay connected while away. With experience caring for cats, dogs, and small pets, I always prioritize their safety, happiness, and wellbeing.
“Andreas warmed up to her immediately and loves his daily walk with Nhu Theiu! She’s also very responsive, communicative and reliable every time I’ve needed her. Can’t recommend her enough!”

About: I have never owned a dog myself, but I have always taken care of my friend’s dogs when they go out somewhere. I also like to know what your dogs like before I take them anywhere, so I can plan ahead on what to do! If you would like to know more about me, let me know! I currently work at an office job, so I am mostly available on the weekends. There are some days in which I can be flexible when house sitting, but it depends on my schedule! If the house sitting is through the weekdays, then I will be able to do so, but I will be out of the house for 7-8 hours. I work from home on Monday and Friday, so I can be more consistent in giving breaks. I make sure that I double check everything around me for safety for the dog and myself. I try to have a schedule with the dogs and make sure that they have everything that they need.
“We are delighted to have Natalia regularly walk our doggo Maxie because not only is she reliable, but she's also obviously caring and compassionate. Her photos and notes after the walks are testimony to her involvement and care. She was also very understanding and flexible when our first week together went completely awry because of unforeseeable issues at my end. She's a breath of fresh air, and I'm very happy that Maxie gets to experience her affection every afternoon!”

About: I don't just love my cat, Pinto, I also respect him as a living being. I don't push his buttons and I'm constantly working to make him feel more safe and comfortable. Your pets will receive the same love and attention from me! I'm good at following instructions and respecting pets' spaces, I'll be checking in with the owners and giving constant updates. I take my cat's safety seriously and I do worry a lot, I have a camera to monitor him when I'm at work, and before I leave I remove any objects that could possibly harm my cat.

“Yick -hong is fantastic. My dog has some stranger danger, so I’m always nervous with new boarders, but he seemed to feel right at home. Lots of pics and updates, highly recommend.”

About: I’ve always loved dogs and cats 😁. I like to think I am very reliable and genuinely care. While I’m walking a dog I carry poop baggies, water and a water bowl, and a ball/toys. When I board dogs I use the same things. I’m open and flexible to accommodate whatever your dog or cat needs. I also of course am well versed in dog language so I’m able to know what your dog is trying to tell me. (I also know that the rates are high so I’m always willing to negotiate if you don’t want to pay the exact set price 😁.) I’m pretty flexible with time. I’m free after 4-5 weekdays and free all day on the weekends. For dog boarding there is always someone at my house for the part of the day I’m not there, (and she of course loves dogs 😁.) I have a nice big unfenced yard, and a small portion of the yard fenced. There are also lot of parks (Audubon) and tons of great paths to walk dogs in my area.
