“Shuai is by far the best Rover host we’ve ever had. From the very beginning, it was clear how much he genuinely cares about the dogs he hosts. He was very considerate on the intake process, even coming to meet our dog Moe in person before confirming the booking. Shuai took detailed notes, asked thoughtful questions, and made sure Moe would be a great fit for his home and his other dogs. That level of preparation gave us so much confidence right from the start. Already this review is sounding overly gushy to me... but trust me the care was so good! Shuai’s setup is absolutely ideal for dogs. His huge 2-acre backyard is fully enclosed with brand-new fencing. Since Moe is quite active this was really ideal. He took Moe running with a few other dogs, and Moe had tons of opportunities to play outside. Shuai is also very thoughtful about how he manages the dogs in his care. He separates them during feeding which is great because Moe is a lackluster eater and he keeps a close eye on interactions to make sure playtime stays fun and positive. What really stood out was how much individual attention Moe received. Shuai gave him constant supervision and care, making sure he had the perfect mix of exercise, play, and downtime. It was clear that Shuai treats every dog like his own, and Moe came home happy, tired, and clearly well cared for. The communication was also outstanding. Shuai sent us a steady stream of photos and updates, which completely put our minds at ease while we were away. While I don't need so many photos I constantly heard my wife laughing and saying how great of a time Moe was having, it was really nice to not be guessing how he was doing. On top of his already 5-star service, Shuai even offered drop-off and pickup which we were the secret hidden bonus. We got back from our trip and Moe just showed back up. It was super. All in all, this was hands down our best Rover experience yet. Shuai sets the standard for what a great host should be—caring, attentive, responsible, and completely invested in every dog he takes in. We couldn’t recommend him more highly, and Moe will definitely be visiting again!”

Once I got my very own pets (a dog and two cats) outside of my family home, it became a whole new world of understanding what it takes to train and care for fur babies. My sweet Aussie, Poppy, like most, is high-energy and anxious, but getting her at just 8 weeks old gave me the opportunity to dive into the world of dog behaviorism and training. The very first time, I accidentally double-booked him with another walker, and they both graciously rearranged their schedules to fix the problem. Zander is a solid, no-fanfare guy who knows what’s important and doesn’t get distracted. For example, Zander alerted us to a problem with our dog’s poops, which turned out to be due to an intestinal parasite she picked up from the local wild rabbits living near our house. He’s always prepared, and keeps things on an even keel. I think he’s accepted every one of our booking requests, and we appreciate him in all respects.”

You can count on me when it comes to communication with you and love for your baby. I bring toys and treats, and can work with shy dogs! I work full time from home in HR as a comp analyst. My schedule is very flexible. I want to schedule walks adhoc during the day or after work! When entering a clients home I will treat the area with care, make sure to lock up, check for water for the animal. “Steven was great with our dog. We boarded her with him for a long weekend She is a nervous girl and often barks at new people. When I dropped her off he took her leash and her treats and immediately got her to sit and calm down. During her stay with Steven he sent us photos, which I appreciate. When I picked her up she was in good spirits and wagging her tail which is always a good sign. We will definitely be using Steven's services again.”
