Information Sarah D. would like to know about your pet
I'm interested in your pet's personality and demeanor, and anything quirky about them and their lifestyle. Every pet is special and different :) I would like to hear about your dog's training; which commands they respond to, if they are crate-trained or free range, and if there's anything in particular you're working on with them and would like to be reinforced during my stay. I want to understand when and how they eat (and if they’re food motivated), as well as their energy and activity levels. Please inform me of any medical concerns, medications and/or supplements taken, and if they have any allergies. I would also like to learn about how to walk them – what they have for gear such as type of collar/harness, where they like to walk and for how long and how frequently each day, whether they pull or walk loose-leash, how they respond to other dogs and people/children on walks (and in general), and if they are fearful of or reactive to anything specific (and how you respond to their reactivity). *Please note: I will not use a retractable leash for safety reasons.* Anything you can share with me about how to best care for your beloved furbabies is very much appreciated! Thank you for taking the time to read my extensive profile. I look forward to hearing from you! Please allow 24-48 hours for a reply.
A typical day
I love to walk dogs in the neighborhood, at parks and in the woods (if they're comfy going for rides in my truck). Playing fetch, keep away, and tug of war are always a good time. Dogs who play soccer are the best ever! ⚽️ I enjoy cuddling, but am happy to just chill and give them space if they're independent. Happy to practice commands with them, and I love giving them special treats like a frozen licky mat or stuffed kong. I will literally crawl around your house pretending to be a dog while playing with your dog, so you can be assured that we will have a good time! 😂 I give cats their space and let them get accustomed to me. We may play with teasers, toys, or bubbles. Kitties are welcome to cuddle with me or lay on my lap if they so choose. I let them lead our interactions! 😺

Reviews

Sarah is our go-to sitter for our scaredy cat Jake! She makes him feel comfortable and loved even while he may be hiding under the bed!!

I could not be happier with the care Sarah took of our cat, Marley. She sent thoughtful updates and photos after each visit which gave us peace of mind while we were away. Marley was well cared for and it was clear that Sarah spent quality time with her at each visit. Sarah was reliable, communicative and respectful of our home. I would absolutely book her again and highly recommend her.
Sarah is an excellent sitter! She sent great updates and tons of photos. I could tell my cat felt very safe and happy with her.

Sarah did a wonderful job looking after our two cats. Her updates were very detailed and really helped in letting us know how things were going back home. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter
