I have loved animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family and I cared for a variety of animals, including goldfish, hermit crabs, frogs, salamanders, and a kitten that we rescued in our backyard. Eventually, we rescued a shelter dog who we nicknamed Oli (he is the dog in my cover photo). I spent many hours walking him, feeding him, accompanying him to vet visits, bathing him, and making sure that he was safe and secure. I also played games with him, socialized him with other dogs and people, and gave him ear scratches, head massages, belly rubs, and his favorite dog biscuits. Throughout his 15-year life, my goal was to make sure that Oli knew that he was a beloved member of our family. In addition to caring for Oli, I have spent a lot of time with many other dogs. For example, I have walked and cared for dogs and cats for friends and acquaintances, including Daisy the Bichon Frise, Niko the Poodle, Saco the cat, and Isabel the Chocolate Lab. I also worked on a farm with a variety of animals and enjoyed every aspect of the experience. I love dogs, cats, and animals in general, and I treat all of them as though they were my own! I feel a unique kind of joy when I work with animals and would be happy to spend my days from Monday through Friday caring for your favorite four-legged friends! I will create a safe and calming atmosphere for every pet under my care and will ensure that all owners feel confident that their best friend's paws are in loving hands.
