“Zilalai was amazing!!! My very shy cats warmed up to her upon meeting on our meet and greet. She’s prompt to respond & followed our notes to the T! Will definitely book her again in the future :)”

“Amanda was punctual, communicative, and clear about what my dog Charlie was doing. Most important, she was sweet and kind to Charlie, giving her belly rubs and love. I appreciated her kind demeanor and how responsible she was in leaving everything the way I requested. I would request Amanda with enthusiasm next time I need someone to come walk and watch Charlie!”
“Sabina did an amazing job. Went above and beyond in taking care of my cat even bringing over a comb, some rub in shampoo, and staying extra one day. Truly a great cat sitter!”

About: I've been accustomed around pets my whole life. Currently I am an owner of two cats and two dogs, so I have good experience with both animals who are each very different in their own right. Very flexible and eager to see your pet! :) Currently I am a incoming MCPHS student studying to get my Doctorate in Pharmacy. I am mostly open later into the afternoons typically after the times of 2-3p.m. Every Tuesday I am not free as I have D&D. Raising my pet I always taught them to be smart, as in when my cat was a kitten I would always press on his paws, and now he can open up doors and containers. For my dog i've thought him to come to me and be able to signal for his wants and needs; however for pets that were not of my own I was vigilant with them. Checking and making sure they were constantly with me whenever I would shift my attention and focus elsewhere. I always follow the schedules that owners have for their own pets; as throwing that out of sync wouldn't just throw the pet, but also their owners schedule too. We all have scheduled times with our pets whether we realize it or not, my job will be to keep that norm when you might not be able to.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a young girl. Growing up, I’ve owned and been trusted to watch a wide range of pets, but I love being around dogs of all ages! I’m currently a graduate student, with classes only taking up half of my week, so I have multiple days I can devote to pet care! Usually, Thursdays/Fridays/Saturdays are my pet days. When entering your home, respect is my top priority. It’s a privilege to be let into your space, and I will respect your home and pet as if they were my own.

About: I grew up with animals. Dogs and cats specifically have always been apart of my life. I am able to keep up with with the youngest peppy puppy or slow down to meet the pace of a senior dog. I am not fazed by much and happy to provide the same love and care that you would give to your animal. I am a freelancer with a very flexible schedule. I have the ability to work with you on potential last minute needs and care for your pets. I am very comfortable caring for animals weather it be a quick check at the home ot in an more outdoor adventure. My goal is to give your animal the care they care they need in the environment that works best for you and them.
About: I absolutely love animals. I grew up with a cat before my family adopted a senior dog and got a puppy. I’m able to administer medication to pets, as we did that with our senior dog, but have also cared for our (no longer) puppy his entire life. I helped train him and helped him understand fetch, which he now loves. Additionally, I often cared for my grandma’s cat both when she couldn’t and just because I love her cat. I’m currently in grad school and intern a few days a week, however I am free for at least some period of time every day of the week! I’m available Monday and Friday evenings after 5pm, Tuesday and Thursday evenings after 6:30pm, Wednesdays all day until 5pm, and all day on both weekend days. In someone’s home, I’m always respectful of their limits with their pets. If at a friend’s, I always make sure to ask whether it’s okay if their pet can be on the couch, given a treat, etc.
“Sydney was wonderful to work with. The cats took to her easily, she communicated well and accomplished everything we needed from her. Because of her care we were able to fully enjoy our trip. Thanks again!”

About: Our family has had two dogs for the last 8 years and I have taken care of puppies and older dogs and cats. I am comfortable with all ages and sizes, I can lift a heavy dog if necessary, and I'm also comfortable with giving medications and working around injuries. I'm very excited to get to know you and your four-legged family members! Our dog brownie is two and a half year old chocolate lab and my 3-year-old and I take Ronnie out every morning for our daily walk. He's 70 lb and really strong so I'm the primary walker for him. I care for pets in the client's homes exactly ask the client specifies so if they need multiple walks or meals a day or any specific toys to play with, I will be sure to follow all the guidelines provided
“Anna did a great job at caring for my cat. She followed all the instructions I gave her, gave me daily updates, and my cat warmed up to her super quickly. I would definitely book with her again the next time I have to go away!”

About: Proud dog-owner for the past three years! Grew up in a house cosplaying as a petting zoo- cats, frogs, dogs, hamsters, you name it! Extremely flexible, willing to adapt, and excited to get to know your pets! Just a teacher trying to make enough money to have a career of not making enough money #fortheloveofthegame I currently teach full-time, so evenings and weekends provide the most availability. However, with summer around the corner, my availability will be expanding! After mid-May, I will have availability from 3:30 PM onwards. I currently live in an apartment in West Harlem with my 4-year old mutt. She warms up to most doggos, but an intro would be necessary! The apartment is near multiple parks, and I am located in a walkable area.
“My cat loves Maegan! I have had her take care of my cat multiple times, and I’m so pleased with care and connection she has with him. I highly recommend having Maegan care for all your fur babies 😻”

“Adelle was fantastic! She was so attentive and really made our cat feel like she was special. I also really appreciated the detail in the Rover cards and the pictures. I would recommend Adelle to anyone who needs someone to watch their pet.”

About: Howdy! My name is Natalie and any dog I've met I have loved like my own. Growing up I had my fluffy 90lb Labradoodle and two sweet guinea pigs. Aside from my own pup, neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk and feed their dogs and care for their cats. I currently have a full time job where I have to go into the office Monday-Thursday but an available for walks and drop-in on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I live in a small apartment in Brighton MA across the street from a wonderful reservoir and less than a mile away from several parks! I am a very active person so would be a great host for an athletic or active dog! However, if your dog is less active, I can easily bring my activity level to where your dog is happy and comfortable. I allow pets on my bed and couch, unless you prefer them not to.
“Eliza is one of a kind and truly wonderful. When we had to leave our dog, Molly, for the first time, we left it to Eliza and there could not have been a better person to keep the dog and us well cared for. Truly appreciative of her flexibility and communication with us throughout the booking.”

About: Hi there, my name is Josh and I have worked for Petco for over seven years now, two of which I served as a manager, and as such have extensive knowledge concerning the well-being and safety of our beloved pets. I have raised two golden retrievers from birth, and am deeply passionate when it comes to ensuring the safety and protection of our animals. I like to keep pets active and engaged, so if my background, experience, and passion interest you, please do not hesitate to reach out and contact me! I look forward to hearing from you and meeting your furry family members! -Josh B

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Chestnut Hill
This was our first time with Alex and he did a great job with our two older cats. Alex carefully followed our feeding and medication instructions, putting us at ease knowing our two cats were well taken care off while we were away. Alex is prompt, diligent and very detail-oriented. We enjoyed getting to know him and are confident we can count on him again in the future!
Aimee did a fantastic job at making me feel at ease with leaving my baby for a week. She sent plenty of pictures and made sure to include how Bubz was doing. Bubz eventually warmed up to her (as much as my cat can to a stranger 😂) which I'm very happy about. Will definitely book with Aimee again and hope she continues to use Rover.

Working with Hannah was fantastic! She took such thorough notes at our meet and greet — so I knew my kitty Clover was going to be in great hands. Her updates were charming & detailed, communication 10/10, and her photos on Clover’s Rover card were amazing! Will be booking again :)

We are thrilled we found Alyssa! It's clear she puts a lot of care into pet sitting. She put us at ease while we were on vacation for a week. She took care of our cat, played with her and gave her food. She communicated the appropriate amount and even took care of our cat's throw up. We appreciated the daily reports and photos. We will definitely book her again. :)

Stephanie was great. She left detailed messages and multiple photos daily which was very much appreciated. And took time with my shy and quirky cat Winston, making big effort to earn his trust. He's a long hair boy prone to matting, and she did an excellent job brushing him too. I would rebook without hesitation.

Marina was the best sitter for our sassy little cat Cookie! Cookie seemed to be having a better play time with Marina than us! Marina also left detailed notes, sent us lots of photos of Cookie, and made sure all the automated systems (litter, water, food) were running properly. Cookie doesn’t usually hop on other people’s laps but Marina managed to get Cookie on her lap the second visit - we were so surprised. Marina is indeed a car whisperer! Definitely recommend Marina as a cat sitter.

Winita went above and beyond caring for Flynn. She asked all the right questions at our meet and greet, spent great quality time with him while we were away, and clearly took her job seriously. I’d recommend Winita to anyone looking for someone trustworthy to care for their cat!

Dominique was very kind and helpful with the cats! I hate leaving them, but Dominique sent lots of pictures and made sure they were well taken care of! She always came right on time and stayed to make sure the cats had enough play time. Overall, a fantastic cat sitter!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
