“Amanda was amazing!! All updates were thorough and she took so many good pictures, she spent lots of time playing and cuddling with our cat, who clearly loved her too :) highly recommend!!!”

About: I love all pets, cats, dogs, bunnies, you name it! Since the age of 8, I have been taking care of family and friend's pets (dogs, cats, fish, bunnies, etc.), and I currently have two precious fur babies, a longhair cat named Gandalf, and an orange tabby named Sparky. I also had a few family dogs growing up! You can be assured that your pets are in good hands with me! I'm currently a part-time student who is also working a flexible part-time gig, with plenty of time during my weekday mornings and evenings, and on weekends. I am also fully available during all the typical school breaks! I love keeping your pets company! I will spend the full allotted time with your pets entertaining and talking to them, and I pay extra special attention to instructions left by owners. I am also comfortable and experienced in administering oral medicine to pets as needed, as one of my own cats requires daily medicine.
“Alyssa is a dream catsitter and I will definitely book her again! She made sure that the cats were well-fed and clean, and she always played with them and gave them extra pets. Earl, Yo-Yo, and I all recommend her!”

“Anthony helped a lot with my emergent request in the afternoon for a drop in visit. Super nice and efficient even during holidays! I appreciate it a lot.”

“Emma was attentive with our two playful kittens! She followed feeding instructions to the letter, played with and petted them, and overall preserved our peace of mind. She showed up precisely on time for daily drop ins and provided detailed report cards. Would highly recommend her as a cat sitter!”

About: A recent BU grad in Biomedical Engineering. I’m an experienced pet owner with my own orange cat at home, who struggles with asthma. I have owned a multitude of species and breeds and have experience with senior animals and their conditions. I have experience and am comfortable dosing and administering insulin to both dogs and cats, as well as caring for visually impaired animals. I am currently looking for part-time work, so I have and will continue to have lots of time to walk and play with your animals. My own animals function best on a routine, so I will be happy to try my hardest to stick to your own pets. I understand that pets are important members of the family, and I treat my own as such, and will treat yours as well. The most important thing is keeping everyone safe, which means careful consideration for how we interact, on their terms. I have experience with medical conditions and am comfortable administering any needed medications, as well as know warning signs that an animal may be stressed. As we know, Boston can be warm, supplying water for walks and outside time is a necessity.

About: Animals have been part of my life for over 20 years. I’ve cared for cats, dogs, birds, and smaller animals, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each animal’s unique personality. I’m active and love taking dogs on long, enriching walks and play sessions. I also understand that pets can feel like children, best friends, and even soulmates. I treat every animal with that level of love and respect, and I’d be honored to care for your fur family as if they were my own. I work very part‑time as an interior horticulturist and create my own hours, so I can be home with your pets as much as they need. I’m a homebody and pet‑sit because I truly love spending time with animals, so I’m typically with your pet about 90% of the time. I rarely leave them alone for more than 3 hours and make sure they receive plenty of attentive, loving care. I treat every home as if it were my own — with care, love, and respect. I’m naturally very tidy and organized, and I always aim to leave your home cleaner than I found it. As an interior horticulturist, I’m also happy to care for your indoor plants while you’re away
About: I have been caring for dogs for over 10 years, from playful puppies to wise senior pets. My friends, neighbors, and family trust me to walk, feed, bathe, and tend to their beloved dogs in their homes. I pay close attention to each pet’s routines, energy levels, and unique personality. I truly understand how important it is for pets to feel safe and loved while their owners are away, and I always approach them with patience, warmth, and a deep sense of responsibility. I currently work remotely and study part-time with a flexible schedule, which lets me dedicate meaningful time to pet care. I genuinely enjoy building routines with pets so they feel safe, relaxed, and loved while their owners are away. I'm available for daily walks, check-ins, and house sitting, including longer stays, to ensure your pet’s comfort and happiness. I genuinely care for pets in the comfort of their own homes, always respecting their routines and familiar surroundings. I am deeply mindful of their safety, cleanliness, and diligently follow all instructions from pet parents. I ensure doors are secured, adhere carefully to feeding and medication schedules, and strive to provide calm, attentive, and responsible care because their well-being is my top priority.
“Thomas was a huge help with Allie. My little girl can be very picky with her food, water and play. Thomas showed her lots of love and consideration. Not to mention his pictures were spot on amazing. I will definitely keep Thomas at the top of the list to call when I have need.”

“Lani did a great job taking care of my cat and my (very old) Chinchilla!! She was totally reliable, showed my pets lots of love and attention and communicated well with me regularly. I will definitely hire her again!”

“Was incredibly attuned to my lil anxious Winston, provided consistent helpful feedback & was just overall a perfect pet sitter for my baby boy! I was nervous using rover for the first time, and Rachel exceeded my expectations & went above and beyond. Will be working with her again!”

“Madison was so incredible with my babies! She sent me so many pictures while we were on our trip, which made me feel better. Star and Kitty were so comfortable with her! Can’t thank Madison enough!!”

“As a first time user of Rover, I wasn't exactly sure what to expect. Annie exceeded my expectations in every way. She responded quickly to my somewhat last minute request, was really flexible with my schedule/needs, and did a great job taking care of my dog and keeping me informed. She was timely, thorough, and seemed to really enjoy her work! I would definitely hire her again.”

Anna did an incredible job of looking after our cat Cam while we were away for two weeks. She was great about sending us updates and pictures each day, and was quick to respond with all my questions while we were away. It felt good knowing that we left Cam in good hands. Anna will be our first choice the next time we need a sitter.

Allison is great! We were recommended her by a friend and she’s hands down the best sitter we’ve had. Every time she visited she’d feed our cats and then proceed to play with them/give them pets for the rest of the time. And she’d send SO MANY cute pics!! Our cats can be a little standoffish but they took to her right away. We’ll definitely be booking again the next time we travel - we didn’t have to worry about the cats at all with Allison watching them :)

Fourth time is the charm! As always, Nathan took exceptional care of my two cats, and I love that they trust him so much. Thank you Nathan for going above and beyond caring for my packages and food shipments, I always am comforted knowing you are taking care of things at home! All the best, Stephanie.

Winita was fantastic with our super shy cats! They normally hide from all guests, but she knew the right mix of treats and games to get them out of their hiding places. By the end of our short trip, they loved her! She was also on top of all the other cat-based chores. My favorite part is all the videos she sent of our cats. I highly recommend her!

Sophie did a wonderful job with our two cats! They clearly felt very comfortable with her, and I appreciated that she went above and beyond looking after them and our home, playing with them, keeping the place clean, and keeping us informed. Will gladly book her again :)

Zhao is always patient with my cat and very professional! I am able to enjoy my trips knowing that my cat is in good hands 😸 My cat takes time to open up but Zhao was very observant of my cat’s reactions and respected my cat’s boundaries. Then slowly my cat eased up with her 😊 A very responsible and caring sitter! Highly recommend 👍
