Alicia was amazing! She followed every instruction and was very friendly. Out dog doesn’t like strangers but he warmed up quick. She worked with us to make it work!

We have used rover many times to have a house sitter stay with our dog Sophie while we went on vacation. Alicia is a standout animal sitter who has earned our trust as an incredibly reliable and trustworthy house sitter. We did a meet and greet initially to introduce her to our dog and the rundown of our house - our dog Sophie loved Alicia. We provided her a summary of relevant information before we left, she proactively communicated conflicts in her schedule when she needed to tend to her own personal matters (which we arranged for a friend to help with a short visit two times when Alicia had a long day at work), and she delivered on all the responsibility she committed to including taking Sophie for multiple walks a day, providing her medicine every night, and refilling the water and food bowls as specified. She had one emergency to tend to for her cat and I really appreciate her candor in communicating this to us. We would re-hire Alicia for either dog walking or house sitting without hesitation and really appreciate respectful guests like her who leave our house in a cleaner state than we left it. She even took out our garbage on trash pickup day and stripped the bed without us even having to ask her! It feels like she treated our home as if it were her own which I am extremely grateful for. I also want to mention that Alicia came in and out multiple times a day for her other errands without a car which means she was taking public transportation and walking which is yet another testament to how hard of a worker she is.
