I'm currently a full time Master's student, so I am generally available during the mid-day early afternoon for daily care/drop-in visits or walks, as well as Thursday/Friday mornings! If you need care for your pets at other times, please reach out - my schedule does have some variation week-to-week, so I may still be able to help!

Safety, trust & environment

I live in a pet friendly apartment building, but am only allowed to "board" one other pet, as tenants are required to follow a 2 pet limit, even with temporary arrangements. My own cat, Grond, is fairly socialized, and not aggressive. I have some training in introducing animals, but am also able to keep my pet and yours separate if needed/wanted. Grond eats at 7:30am and 7:30pm, and gets at *least* 20 minutes of playtime/enrichment a day. Depending on your pet's specific needs and schedule, this is usually how I approach all pets' daily care!

Information Alicia W. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if there are any special needs your pet has, either with medications, or even small routines that they just can't go without!

A typical day

Getting to know your pet and make sure they feel comfortable is #1 on my list! I think bonding through playtime is a big part of that, and even though it's cold out right now, if your pet is up for an adventure, so am I! I'm also a big fan of mentally stimulating enrichment activities for pets, like treat puzzles! Homemade or store bought, they're great for your pet :)

Pet care experience

I have grown up with pets all my life, and have taken an active role in caring for them since I was very young. I know that every pet requires a lot of attention to be truly engaged and happy, and the same is true for every life stage they experience. I have experience administering medication and caring for senior pets, as well as personal experience with neo-natal care. While every household is different, I make sure to provide the same kind of care and attention to every animal I care for, just as I would my own pet (featured in profile pic!).

Alicia is wonderful with our dog, Gordon. They had an instant connection. She is always on time, and reliable. Gordon always comes home with a smile on his face!

Alicia was amazing! She followed every instruction and was very friendly. Out dog doesn’t like strangers but he warmed up quick. She worked with us to make it work!
