My name is Julia, and I have been caring for animals in various capacities for most of my life. I most recently worked as a vet tech at a Somerville vet clinic and have previous experience in an animal shelter for four years as both an adoptions counselor and foster coordinator. Beyond that, I volunteered at two different shelters before that. I currently have my own dog and have lived with dogs and cats of various ages and sizes over the past 8 years. On top of working with animals and having my own pets, I have also been pet sitting and dog walking for the past 16 years. I have a flexible schedule and experience with a variety of pet care, including medical. I am able to walk dogs of all sizes, and I hope you will allow me to take care of your furry loved ones. I work in Harvard Square and live near Teele Square so prefer if your pet is near to those spots! I take care of pets as they were my own. I work on a positive reinforcement training style and do not work with clients who use aversive training techniques.
