“Kaitlyn was a great boarder for Monty. She shared pictures and feedback throughout his four night stay. She was great and Monty loved her. Would definitely use again.”

“Andy did a great job caring for Wally! He was very communicative and sent lots of updates. Wally had lots of walks, playtime, and time spent relaxing—and came back home a very happy pup! I highly recommend Andy!”

“Isabella was extremely responsive and communicative! She took on a tall task of watching after not only my dog, Muzzy, but 3 other dogs simultaneously, all while also taking care of her baby. Isabella kept us updated with videos throughout the day. I would definitely ask Isabella to care for Muzzy again in the future.”

“Where do we begin...this was a hard choice when trying to find someone to watch our fur baby for 6 days. He got to know Barb and a visit to her home for a meet and great. Then another visit for half a day. He was in heaven. Barb sent photos throughout the day. He was in a good mood and not anxious at all. Then we left TicTac in her care for 6 days. So many pictures came to us. He definitely has made new friends and was cared for so well. I highly recommend Barb 🌟”

“My dog had an excellent time with Kaisi. Kaisi sent lots of pictures of her dog and mine at the dog park, walking in fresh pond, looking so relaxed and happy. Thanks Kaisi!”

About: I have extensive experience caring for cats from kittens to seniors, including administering oral medications. This includes my own cats and also family/friend cats. I have my own rescue pit mix dog who has needed some patience to build her confidence and I’m proud of the work we’ve done together in the 1+ years together. I’ve also worked as a kennel assistant handling meal times, medication, day cares, walks, and clean up. I have always loved pets, from hamsters up to big 100 lbs dogs. I will treat your baby with love and respect and understanding of their needs. I share pet care duties with my Fiance John who grew up with dogs and cats in his household and takes care of our two cats and rescue dog with me. We both work full time but I only work 4 days a week and John works 5 days but leaves later and gets home earlier than me. I handle the morning chores including pet meals and Phoebe’s first walk of the day. John handles the second walk of the day when he gets home from work and the second mealtime then. Night time, Phoebe always gets a walk before bed and cats get their last meal. On weekends and free days off together (I always have a 3 day weekend) Phoebe usually gets a trip out to a park, trail, or beach where she can either roam and get her running in. Phoebe gets playdates often with her dog besties who live nearby. Phoebe is crate trained and we have an extra crate on hand too as needed. Currently Phoebe and the cats roam free together when we’re at work because they’re trustworthy now but if a guest comes, we can separate rooms easily and use crates. In other clients homes, I will always follow the rules of the house. Dogs and cats alike will get lots of enrichment, walks, and playtime so everyone is satisfied and comfortable.

“She was amazing with Bruno! 🐾 I was honestly a little anxious leaving him with someone new, but she made the whole experience so much easier. She sent updates every day (sometimes multiple times a day), which I really appreciated and it gave me so much peace of mind. Bruno looked so happy and comfortable the entire time. You can tell she genuinely cares and takes great care of the dogs she watches. I would 100% book with her again!”

“Liz & Rodrigo are incredible people, with an incredible family full of love to give! We were a bit nervous having someone board our newly adopted rescue Beagle, but they did an amazing job! They sent so many updates and photos while I was gone, I never once had to worry how they were doing! They were both accommodating of both our pup’s needs and I can tell our pups would love to go back whenever we need a sitter!”

“Jordan was absolutely fantastic! She treated Addie like she was her own! We were so happy that we booked our next boarding the same day we picked Addie up from this one!”

“Zarah is amazing!! My dog (Monty) is a quirky boy with lots of anxiety. Zarah was immediately attentive, empathetic, and understanding :) She truly cared about learning everything about Monty and how best to care for him, and she sent tons of pictures and updates! I trust Zarah implicitly and know Monty is in great hands with her. He felt at home right away, and he will be happy to see Zarah and Honey again soon :)”

“Betsy was a great sitter - very thorough and careful in getting to know my dog’s preferences and letting him see her very nice home and yard! Easy to communicate with and my pup seemed super happy :)”

“Gina was so wonderful! She was so good with Gremlin, who is a big pittie and can be a lot to handle. She also went above and beyond and dropped him back off when I was having car trouble. Sent pics, super sweet and communicative, would recommend and rebook!”

“Hyesoo and her husband were such kind and caring hosts for our Maltipoo! They were extremely accommodating and took picture updates that really delighted us and let us know he was in good hands. I can see why she has 51 5-star reviews!!!! Thank you Hyesoo!”

“Mars had a wonderful time with Ann & Jim! They sent lots of photos, took him on adventures at the fells and walks featuring lots of fetch! He was happy to be there and came home tired and happy 🤗”

“This was my first time using Rover and Liz went above and beyond as Simon’s dog sitter. I received many pictures and updates every single day and there was no time lapse in her responses if I ever messaged her first. I’m not even sure Simon even missed me because of how well he was taken care of and loved on. Will most definitely be booking with Liz again and have raved about her to my friends with pets. Thank you again!!”

“Suni and her partner were amazing caretakers to our doggo, Lainey, while we were out of town! Suni always responded quickly to messages and provided daily updates on Lainey. In all the pics, Lainey was having the best time - whether that was napping or going on her many walks. Lainey was in loving and very capable hands. We will definitely use Suni in the future! Thanks so much!”

“Christina was great! She sent me a bunch of photos each day and took Leo on multiple walks daily! He was tired when I picked him up and that takes a lot to do. Will absolutely book again”

“I am very glad I found John, as he was such a caring & attentive & calm sitter for slightly anxious dog. He gave routine updates & pictures to keep me informed of how things were going, & I can tell my dog had a very comfortable stay. I will definitely be booking John again!”

“Leah always goes above and behind. She communicates effectively and makes sure everything gets done and that my cat is well cared for. I am a very anxious pet owner and Leah has completely put my mind at ease while I am away, and my kitty loves her! Thank you, Leah.”

“Juanita did a great job with our kittens today. They were very gentle and intuitive about what each of our kitties likes to do and noticed things that let me know they were paying attention. They took care of everything just as I instructed and provided great pictures of her interactions. This was our first time having them take care of our cats but they also came over once just to meet them and myself and get familiar with my expectations. Juanita did exactly as they said they would do. I felt reassured having them. I would highly recommend Juanita to other kitties families for pet sitting. Thank you Juanita.”

“Sara took amazing care of the guinea pigs and even took them out for cuddles. It was very nice that she came for a meet and greet before our trip. I hope to have her care for the pigs again!”

“Jordan was kind enough to take care of my 2 cats on a last minute notice, and she did such a wonderful job! She spent extra time with the kitties every visit, and despite this being my first time leaving them behind, I felt super reassured that they were well taken care of.”

“Thomas is the best cat sitter possible! He is so attentive to our cats needs and writes detailed reports. He has cared for our cat several times and he has been excellent every time. Our cat can be challenging and Thomas makes leaving for a trip a breeze! We will certainly be booking with you again anytime we are in need in of cat care. Thank you so much Thomas!”

“Anthony helped a lot with my emergent request in the afternoon for a drop in visit. Super nice and efficient even during holidays! I appreciate it a lot.”

“Amanda was amazing!! All updates were thorough and she took so many good pictures, she spent lots of time playing and cuddling with our cat, who clearly loved her too :) highly recommend!!!”

“Meghan did a fantastic job taking care of our two kitties! They can be shy and wary of new people and they warmed up to Meghan in no time. They were happy and healthy when we returned, which is a testament to Meghan’s care. I would recommend Meghan to anyone whose kitties need care!”

“To say Mintra goes above and beyond is an understatement. She has been so good to us, and she’s by far the most trustworthy and reliable person I know to watch over my little boy. I hope to continue working with her for a long time!!”

“As a first time user of Rover, I wasn't exactly sure what to expect. Annie exceeded my expectations in every way. She responded quickly to my somewhat last minute request, was really flexible with my schedule/needs, and did a great job taking care of my dog and keeping me informed. She was timely, thorough, and seemed to really enjoy her work! I would definitely hire her again.”

“Eleanor was an excellent cat sitter for my cat, Alfie. She was timely and detailed with her communication. She checked in regarding Alfie’s behaviors to make sure they were normal for him and didn’t need additional medical attention. Overall, I felt very comfortable leaving Alfie with her and I was at ease on vacation knowing he was being well taken care of. I would recommend her to anyone and I’d book with her again. :)”

“Lani was great! I felt like my cats were well taken care of and she tidied up messes that they made very well. I feel like the litter boxes were cleaner than they were before I left. She also took some great pictures and they seemed calm and relatively relaxed.”

“Aimee is a top notch pet sitter and I’d recommend booking with her. I booked for a second time for a last minute vacation and she was extremely responsive, remembered all the care instructions, and took great care of my two cats. I’d recommend her for caring, professional, and reliable pet sitting.”

“Banapsha is amazing! She made an immediate connection with Peanut who has some separation anxiety and has been through a lot of recent medical issues. She gave me frequent updates, pictures and asked questions when she was unsure what I would prefer in terms of her care. I hope to hire Banapsha again when she is available!”

“A truly 5 star experience. Cameron was easy to communicate with and work with. Just off vibe alone I knew my dog was in good hands when he was picked up. Throughout the day I was consistently updated with photos and videos of my dog out and about. I highly highly recommend Cameron to anyone in need of a dog-sitter. Next time I’m in Boston I will 100% be reaching out to him first. Finn will miss Cameron and Rosie a ton!!! 5 stars!!”

“This was our puppy’s very first time being away from us, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Kaitlyn kept us updated with photos and messages, which really helped ease our nerves. Our boy came back happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. It’s such a relief knowing we have someone we trust for future stays. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable sitter!”

“Emma was great with our 12 year old cockapoo. She was communicative, on time, and sent lots of pictures. Quincy loved his time with her and we'll be using her again!”

About: I grew up with my cousin’s dogs. We used to bathe them and put little jackets on them to keep them warm in winter. I get to have my own cat more than a decade ago, which is one of the most fortunate things that ever happened in my life. I started raising her when she was about one month old and bottle fed her. Now she’s a happy and loved teenager living her best life. I always tell people that if I weren’t studying what I’m studying now, I’d definitely choose to be a vet to live and work with animals! I’m currently a full-time PhD student at Harvard University. I’m in dissertation writing stage which means I have a lot of time on my own at home. I go out to take classes at times, but I’m at home most of time to make sure your cats are companied(of course, I’ll give them personal space as well)! I live in a one-bedroom, well maintained apartment. I will make sure that cats are away from windows. I will only open the windows of the room where the cats are not around
About: I’ve spent my whole life around animals — from helping raise dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, and hamsters in my own home, to professionally pet sitting and walking since I was a a young teen. What sets me apart is how naturally and intuitively I connect with animals of all kinds and how deeply I care about making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved when they're with me! I’ve had the unique (& humbling😄) experience of raising & training (crate, potty, leash) a beagle puppy as a 15-yr-old, while also helping my senior golden retriever through end-of-life care. I've also fostered and understand the unique needs of different breeds, temperaments, and how to meet pups where they're at. Whether it’s managing an energetic puppy's exercise routine, gently caring for a senior pet's slower pace, or understanding how to read a timid dog's body language—I’m highly attuned to the needs of every pet & always happy to follow special instructions.😊 My ultimate goal is to make sure your pet feels right at home with me & give you complete peace of mind knowing they’re in the most loving, reliable hands possible! I’m currently focusing full-time on pet care, so I have a very open & flexible schedule! Whether you need a midday walk, overnight care, or last-minute help, I’m available & happy to work around your routine. I genuinely love spending time with animals & I’m excited to fill my days/weeks giving your pet the attention they deserve. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or mine, their safety, comfort, and happiness always come first. I’ll follow your pet’s routine, keep your & their space clean and safe, and send regular updates (& pics). Any specific instructions should be discussed ahead of time, otherwise I’ll ask questions as they arise. I am highly attentive to communications (messaging/calls) when pet sitting for everyone’s sake! I live in a spacious, 3-bed 2-bath, 2nd story sunny apartment with plenty of room to play & relax. I have a lots of cat/dog toys, but happy to use yours if applicable. My neighborhood is very safe and quiet, with quick access to the street for potty breaks & right around the corner from a beautiful park with a fenced-in play area - plus walking distance from 2 fenced dog parks for extra exercise & playtime.
“Niusha was great with Mospy! Mopsy is still really young and has a ton of puppy energy, but she was able to entertain her the whole time! Mopsy was pooped by the time she got home. She even set up a little doggie play date for Mopsy since she loves playing with other dogs. Would definitely book again.”

“Elizabeth and Rodrigo were great with Oscar. They were flexible when I needed to shift my drop-off and pickup times, which made my day so much easier. They sent a few photos throughout the day too, which I always love getting. Oscar came home tired and happy, so he clearly had a good time. Would book with them again in a heartbeat. Thanks you two!”

“Tae is incredible. You can tell she really loves dogs. Gizmo had an amazing time with Tae and Udon, and he came back happy after playing all day. Highly recommend Tae to provide company with your furry friend!”

“Sandra went above and beyond to make both me and Koda feel so comfortable. She was communicative, reliable, and caring. I could tell Koda loved her and had an amazing time. I was so impressed with Sandra and will absolutely be reaching out to her again.”

“Sunny was so thoughtful in taking care of our puppy! It was a cold day and she made sure he had what he needed to be comfortable. Sunny also kept me updated to how the puppy was adjusting to her home throughout the evening.”

“Anna was so patient with our dog Bobby and took amazing care of him! When we picked him up he was calm and ready for a nap - perfect! We will definitely book with Anna again.”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Maria and McAben! My husband and I were in Boston for work for a week and brought our three-year-old miniature dachshund, Enzo, along with us. Since we were staying in a hotel, we needed someone to care for him during the day for three consecutive days — and Maria and McAben were absolutely incredible. From the very start, they made us feel completely at ease. Leaving your dog with new people can be nerve-wracking, but we felt 100% confident and comfortable the entire time. Their apartment is welcoming and dog-friendly, and it was clear that Enzo was treated like part of the family. They showered him with cuddles and attention, sent frequent photo updates, and checked in thoughtfully throughout the day. Their communication was outstanding — proactive, warm, and reassuring. It meant so much to know he was not only safe, but genuinely happy and loved. Maria and McAben are truly wonderful people who clearly care deeply about the dogs they look after. We would book them again in a heartbeat — 1,000% recommend — and feel confident they would do an amazing job with dogs of all kinds. Thank you both for taking such great care of our little guy!”

“Laura was wonderful with our dog, Charlie. She was very communicative, prompt and flexible, and she sent us many great photos. We will definitely book with her again.”

“Michelle did a great job providing a day of daycare for my dog. She is very easy to work with and responds to messages quickly. I greatly appreciated her flexibility with my adjustments to both the dropoff and pickup times. Most importantly, my dog was happy and comfortable going with her after our initial meet and greet. I'm pleased to have found Michelle and will definitely keep her in mind for future daycare needs.”

“Rebecca was very friendly and communicative. She scheduled a meet and greet to introduce our dog to her space and asked insightful questions. She has great experience caring for larger dogs, and our dog came home relaxed and happy.”

About: Hello! My name is Annie and I have been a dog lover for my entire life, at one point my family owned 5 dogs! I graduated from UMass Amherst in 2017 and during my 4 years there I was a volunteer at a greyhound rescue that took in retired racing greyhounds. During my time there I learned how to care for dogs with many different needs and temperments and I discovered a passion for taking care of dogs. I currently live in an house in Oak Bluffs with my 8 year old goldendoodle Maya and 4 year old labradoodle Luna. I have a fully fenced in yard and work from home so I am able to be with your pups all day and give them lots of attention, potty breaks, and playtime. My husband and I also walk the dogs together frequently and we would be happy to take your pups out on walks as well! I am currently working full time from home so your pup will be able to chill with me all day! My older dog is very relaxed and likes to sleep most of the day but my younger dog LOVES to play and if you have a dog that loves to play I have a big backyard for them to play in! I have a larger fenced in back yard that is great for dogs to relax or play in. When walking outside I will always have your dogs on a leash.
About: I have had dogs since I was young. I have experience ranging from small to large. I just adopted a lab mix and I honestly love walking dogs so much that I would love to walk yours as well. I would not walk the dogs at the same time unless we talk about it prior. I love dogs and walking and would love to help be a part of your pets life! I’m currently working part time and am available weekdays during the day for walks or at home visits! I currently work part time, normally in the mornings. I am available Monday-Wednesday, after 11 am and Thursday, Friday after 3 pm. Dog walking would help fill out my weekly schedule. Going slowly. I know dogs get scared when approached too fast. I would treat all dogs with patience, giving them the time to trust me. I would introduce treats and toys.

“Gabriela has been wonderful with my dog. She is reliable, communicative and extremely accommodating. My dog can be leash reactive around other dogs and Gabriela is wonderful in navigating him away from troublesome situations. Highly recommend!”

About: I have been an animal lover in my whole life growing up. I had a white cocker spaniel named Rainbow (that was the first thing I thought of when I got him as a five-year-old). she sparked a lifelong love for pets since then I’ve carried for cats and dogs of many friends and family members. I am currently a full-time student. I am able to have drop in visits on the weekends and also some time during the week. I can do doggy day care during the weekends and a few days during the week as well. I am able to on-board depending on a few factors and house sit. I do live in an apartment with a few other roommates who can help take care and provide services. There is a park near where I live which I can take them too.
“Allison was fantastic! She responded to our last-minute request right away and arrived exactly on time. She took great care of our dog, sent us adorable photos, and kept us updated during the walk. It gave us such peace of mind knowing he was in good hands. We will absolutely be using Allison again and highly recommend her!”

“Kayleigh was very easy to communicate with and flexible with her arrangements as I had booked two walkers for the same day! She was very willing to change times and thoughtful about my needs. I will absolutely have her back next week!”

About: I love all pets, cats, dogs, bunnies, you name it! Since the age of 8, I have been taking care of family and friend's pets (dogs, cats, fish, bunnies, etc.), and I currently have two precious fur babies, a longhair cat named Gandalf, and an orange tabby named Sparky. I also had a few family dogs growing up! You can be assured that your pets are in good hands with me! I'm currently a part-time student who is also working a flexible part-time gig, with plenty of time during my weekday mornings and evenings, and on weekends. I am also fully available during all the typical school breaks! I love keeping your pets company! I will spend the full allotted time with your pets entertaining and talking to them, and I pay extra special attention to instructions left by owners. I am also comfortable and experienced in administering oral medicine to pets as needed, as one of my own cats requires daily medicine.
“Thomas is such a gem!!! Book him! He’s punctual, communicates well, and is patient. My dog Cairo is not everyone’s ’cup of tea’ (not that I care, since I love him) but he’s vocal at times from excitement and has high energy as a 2 year old Aussiedoodle. Thomas arrived on time, and took Cairo on an hour long dog walk. Although it was 80+ degree humid weather with no breeze, he did it with a smile on his face. Moving forward, whenever I need a walker for Cairo (most likely 1x weekly), I will contact Thomas to check his availability. And next time Thomas, I’ll have a nice cold unopened bottled water for you. Thomas, thank you for bonding with Cairo and accepting his high energy level. Not sure if you’re told this enough, but you are absolutely amazing!”

“Polina is absolutely fantastic! She is very easy to communicate with, always very quick with response, extremely flexible with scheduling, and wonderful with my dogs, sending lots of pictures every walk. I felt completely at ease knowing my dogs were in great hands. I will definitely ask her to help with dog walking again very soon and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring walker.”

About: I've taken care of my two dogs, Toby and Felix, for over 15 years, as well as animal sitting for family members, friends, neighbors, and coworkers. Felix lived to be 15 years old so I have experience caring for senior dogs and both of them being rescues, I understand how to approach the timid, cautious, or unpredictable energy of a rescue or new animal. My closest friend has many repeat customers through Rover so I've had the pleasure of caring for those fur babies alongside her and learning how to give them various forms of medicine and custom care routines. My partner's roommates also had 2 cats that I spent much time with, gained their trust, and cared for when they were out of town. I absolutely adore all animals and have grown up around dogs my entire life. I understand how special they are to each family and I want to provide the care these beautiful creatures deserve. I appreciate your consideration and trust as I know it is hard to leave people with loves so special to us! I'm currently finishing my degree at Northeastern University and I will be in Boston throughout the summer with a free schedule. I work part-time at a fitness studio, but those hours are very flexible and I'm constantly out and about in the city throughout the day, so I'm well acquainted with the public transportation system and have partial access to a car. I would revolve my day around your pet's needs. I have extensive experience with crate training and safety needs for animals, especially in a city home. My senior dog needed medicine and joint care so I understand what that entails and I'm happy to provide that.
“Zilalai is so great with my large husky! She learned the commands he knows and uses them for him. This helps us so much, and him, with sticking with routine. It’s a breath of fresh air to have Zilalai!”

“Alyssa was fantastic!! Took the time to meet my pup & go over instructions. She did great my dog & I always came home to a very happy & tired dog. Would definitely recommend booking with her”

“Gina was so wonderful! She was so good with Gremlin, who is a big pittie and can be a lot to handle. She also went above and beyond and dropped him back off when I was having car trouble. Sent pics, super sweet and communicative, would recommend and rebook!”

“*READ IF YOUR DOG (or let’s be real, you) HAVE SEPARATION ANXIETY!* I brought my 90 pound labradoodle, Chewbacca, to Michael’s for the week. I’ve had Chewbacca since he was 12 weeks old, he’s 4 now. It was me and him for a long time, and we’re bonded at the hip. He has separation anxiety when we’re parted. I have diagnosed anxiety, so I also get debilitatingly anxious when I’m separated from him. Finding a dog sitter that I trusted was a major challenge. Well, it was a challenge until I met Mike. Although Mike offered to pick Chewbacca up for us, we were in the area that day and dropped Chewbacca off. The first thing I noticed is that Chewbacca went right up to Mike without hesitation. After knowing Mike for only a half hour, Chewbacca showed less anxiety when I left than when I bring him to our longtime (and fantastic) groomer. Mike and his partner are -exceptionally- communicative. They sent me pictures each day and gave me consistent updates. Chew has a small skin tag on his elbow, and when he chewed it and a small wound opened, Michael immediately contacted me and treated it each day. Mike is attentive and is with the dogs all day, and when I visited the property, it was clear that it is more than equipped to house several dogs. The fenced in area is massive, and after looking at the pictures, it felt like Chewbacca was spending each day at the dog park. If your dog feels most relaxed when around other animals, this is the place to send them. I saw in a different review that a client may have felt misled by Mikes location being in Colchester. *I have had the complete opposite experience.* Mike was extremely transparent with his location and even takes the time to drive -two hours!- for pick up and drop off to make it easier for the client. No shade to that person, but I have to call out a bad take when I see one, especially for a business that’s run so efficiently and transparently. There is no doubt that I will be bringing Chewbacca to Mike for our next trip, and I encourage you to do the same.”

“Todd was awesome! Very communicative and attentive, and clearly seemed to provide a great environment for Beau to stay. He came home clearly taken care of, calm, and happy.”

“Michelle & Michael are the ultimate pet sitters for my young dog, Ruby. She clearly receives an abundance of care, love and attention, as her sweet, expressive & energetic personality is in full effect, which only comes out when she is completely comfortable with people. I feel very lucky to have found them, and they are first on my list! Thank you, Michelle & Mike! :)”

“This was our second time working with Jess, and Duke was happy as can be. We loved the photos of Duke interacting with the other dogs and having a great time. Won't hesitate to have Jess watch Duke again.”

“Phillipa is an excellent sitter! She is very responsive to messages, sends lots of pictures, and took our dog on long walks every day. Her home has plenty of space for a dog to run around, and no shortage of dog toys. We- dog included- had a great experience!”

“Winn was the best to work with! He was extremely responsive to messages, met us for a meet and greet with our pup to get her comfortable with his space. He was attentive to our pup paying close attention to her temperament and making sure she felt comfortable in his space. She is wary of new people but warmed up to him nicely. Highly recommend Winn and we will be returning clients for sure.”

“Joseph was awesome! He communicated well and sundae seemed to have a good time with him. He’s also super friendly and flexible which was great for us as our travel schedule ended up changing.”
