Murphy is an older pup and needed additional care with more frequent potty outings, 3 different daily hand fed medication, and extra belly rubs! Jennifer did it all and more. She is great with the pups and reached out frequently with questions to ensure things were done correctly. She sends photos and updates through the day. About: I have extensive experience caring for cats from kittens to seniors, including administering oral medications. This includes my own cats and also family/friend cats. I have my own rescue pit mix dog who has needed some patience to build her confidence and I’m proud of the work we’ve done together in the 1+ years together. I’ve also worked as a kennel assistant handling meal times, medication, day cares, walks, and clean up. I have always loved pets, from hamsters up to big 100 lbs dogs. I will treat your baby with love and respect and understanding of their needs. I share pet care duties with my Fiance John who grew up with dogs and cats in his household and takes care of our two cats and rescue dog with me. We both work full time but I only work 4 days a week and John works 5 days but leaves later and gets home earlier than me. I handle the morning chores including pet meals and Phoebe’s first walk of the day. John handles the second walk of the day when he gets home from work and the second mealtime then. Night time, Phoebe always gets a walk before bed and cats get their last meal. On weekends and free days off together (I always have a 3 day weekend) Phoebe usually gets a trip out to a park, trail, or beach where she can either roam and get her running in. Phoebe gets playdates often with her dog besties who live nearby. Phoebe is crate trained and we have an extra crate on hand too as needed. Currently Phoebe and the cats roam free together when we’re at work because they’re trustworthy now but if a guest comes, we can separate rooms easily and use crates. In other clients homes, I will always follow the rules of the house. Dogs and cats alike will get lots of enrichment, walks, and playtime so everyone is satisfied and comfortable.

About: I have had dogs almost my entire life. I have been pet sitting on dog vacay and rover for the last several years , before my dog Dora passed away two years when she was 14 years of age. I stopped pet sitting , and was grieving for a while. I am now ready to get back to dog sitting , and want to experience joy of pets again, even if on a temporary basis. I have two children , 8 and 4, and they have been exposed to dogs and cats until recently . We want to have a chance to play with doggies again, and love them! For example, Zander alerted us to a problem with our dog’s poops, which turned out to be due to an intestinal parasite she picked up from the local wild rabbits living near our house. About: As much as I love playing with puppies I have a fondness for senior dogs. I have spent more time caring for senior dogs and enjoy being around them. I worked nights and was always available for vet appointments. My dog Nicholas went to aquatherapy often and my Pug did acupuncture. I have cared for dogs needing meds, diaper changes, extra lifts, & short walks that required a long time. I often had dogs that needed fresh or homemade food and lots of treats & love. Being retired I am often home working on projects. I also am fortunate to have friends all over the country. I go to their homes and care for their pets while they vacation. I currently have no pets. I live 50ft to the paths along the Charles River. It is a great place to walk dogs. We come upon small wildlife, other dogs and lots of joggers. Some dogs still get excited need some training and treats. I have spent hours out there sitting with pets.

Each day, including my work days, I still have plenty of time to spend with the animals. Afternoon walks, and 2 evening walks. Pets are always on my daily routine, with plenty of time to spend playing with them as well. I have a fenced in yard, I have 3 dogs that get a long with others upon meeting. I have a big house, lots of gates if for whatever reasons they may need to be gated off. Plenty of dog beds for them to sleep on . :) We have gates on our deck, so there is no chance of a dog running off.

I have my own rescue pit mix dog who has needed some patience to build her confidence and I’m proud of the work we’ve done together in the 1+ years together. I’ve also worked as a kennel assistant handling meal times, medication, day cares, walks, and clean up. I have always loved pets, from hamsters up to big 100 lbs dogs. I will treat your baby with love and respect and understanding of their needs. I share pet care duties with my Fiance John who grew up with dogs and cats in his household and takes care of our two cats and rescue dog with me. We both work full time but I only work 4 days a week and John works 5 days but leaves later and gets home earlier than me. I handle the morning chores including pet meals and Phoebe’s first walk of the day. John handles the second walk of the day when he gets home from work and the second mealtime then. Night time, Phoebe always gets a walk before bed and cats get their last meal. On weekends and free days off together (I always have a 3 day weekend) Phoebe usually gets a trip out to a park, trail, or beach where she can either roam and get her running in. Phoebe gets playdates often with her dog besties who live nearby. Phoebe is crate trained and we have an extra crate on hand too as needed. Currently Phoebe and the cats roam free together when we’re at work because they’re trustworthy now but if a guest comes, we can separate rooms easily and use crates. In other clients homes, I will always follow the rules of the house. Dogs and cats alike will get lots of enrichment, walks, and playtime so everyone is satisfied and comfortable.
“Eddy and his team took great care of Corie for three days, and it looked like Corie had a wonderful time playing with other dogs and enjoying herself. The pickup and drop-off service was especially helpful with our busy schedule. Communication was generally fine, but the updates were mostly photo-based without much detail about Corie’s daily routine. A brief daily summary would have been helpful.
